I listened to the studio version and I can honestly say this live version sounds so much better. I feel like Ailee was limited as an artist because the producer had a certain view of what he wanted for the song and so she gave him what he want for the studio version. But for this live version she sang it with more emotion and her notes sounded more free compared to the studio ver. IMO

This is better than the studio version but i do respect what Donghwan wanted because every producer must've envisioned how their songs headed and he is one of those producers.
