Right there with ya. Was diagnosed with severe childhood-onset chronic insomnia at age 22, diagnosed with ADHD in my 40’s. And yes I got misdiagnosed with manic disorder before they finally got it right.
I am a corporate girly but I have way too many days with two 3’s in them! Thankfully, with remote work I can better manage it, and I clean in the middle of the night A LOT. That way, if I manage to fall back asleep, I get to wake up to a clean kitchen! That’s also a great time for journaling as well.
Thoroughly loved this video. If I didn’t have to be at the office by 8a I’d naturally be up late (and still do when im not careful about my sleep schedule)
Undiagnosed here (I don’t trust doctors) I actually did enjoy this video. I try to wear myself out by playing my Wii or something active to make me wanna lay down... my neighbor downstairs probably hates Michael Jackson now bc I’ll really be up at 2am hittin that thriller🕺🏾🕺🏾😂

I’ve been an insomniac since I was a kid. If I have to go work I stare at the wall until I go back to sleep 😴 lol. If I’m off the next day I do some writing ✍🏽 then lay back down.
Heavy on the stare at the wall 😮💨 keeping a journal near the bed is so helpful! Ty for sharing 🙌🏽

Check out your local library and see do they have a thing with Libby. If they do, that would mean they have something also with onedrive, and hoopla. So free access to hundreds-thousands of books, movies, and shows, and audiobooks. It's way cheaper, you have a selection to more cool stuff, and best of all, you'd be helping out your public (and maybe even out of state) library. Early birds and night owls unite.
