Wow, man, these are some incredible runners for my favorite game of all time. Chapters 1-8 really brought me through a trip, and Chapter 9 helped me cope with my grandma passing. Truly a powerful game, with some of the best gameplay, music, and feels.

Just finished chapter 9 the other day, was a ton of fun. Also started doing "speedruns". Finally got a sub 1:30 chapter 1. I have a whole new appreciation for the stuff that these guys can pull off.

I love this game so much and it has become my favorite game. I have been suffering with depression for 5 years and started having panic attacks last week. Thank you for running this game. I recently just beat 7-c and am now struggling in chapter 9 before 8-c.

Why do they play the B-side of Mirror Temple?

Completing the b-side of a level unlocks the next a-side, and it happens that the mirror temple b-side can be completed faster than playing the a-side normally

Mirror Temple A-Side is such a long stage that it's actually faster to grab the cassette and play the B-Side. It's the only stage where the cassette is early enough in the stage for the B-Side to be a viable strat.

That race could have easily gone either way, both players are very evenly matched. Chai even played stronger overall, he just had a few very unfortunate deaths at the ends of long rooms. Their PBs are about 15 seconds apart.

Have you ever seen Celeste speedrun leaderboards? TGH holds first place in only one category and it's only for a second. There're plenty of Celeste players at his very same level.
