Watch Ukrainian Drones OBLITERATE a Russian Plane
Embed
- Published on Feb 11, 2026
- As the sun rises over Crimea on September 21, 2025, Ukrainian Beaver drones attempt to break through layers of Russian air defenses. The strike begins with TOR-M2 launchers engaging decoys, only to find themselves outmaneuvered by low-flying drones exploiting radar gaps. A BUK-M3 battery near Nova Kakhovka takes its shot, forcing the operators to weave between industrial obstacles and confuse radar tracking. South of the Dnipro, the surviving drones enter the domain of the S-400 system, where speed filters and deconfliction rules create unexpected opportunities. Finally, the chase reaches Kacha Air Base, where a hastily deployed Pantsir-S1 makes a last stand against the incoming wave. In this breakdown, we follow each phase of the mission, system by system, to show how timing, terrain, and tactical improvisation shaped the outcome of a high-stakes contest between drones and some of the most advanced air defense systems in the world.

All those years on x box weren't wasted after all !!!! 😅
Nor Playstation or actual rec. R/C flying either. 😉👍💙💛
I would of seriously picked jucier targets though,, like fighter bombers & reg bombers ect.,, ''that wreck havoc on Ukraine'',, not these - pretty much useless ''sea plane''- relics.
@I74UL1-v2t, гидросамолеты используются РФ для борьбы с морскими беспилотниками Украины...
@I74UL1-v2t these relics are capable of arms supply drops to manpower and other uses that have been eliminated
Who knew?
not as easy as it seems to fly fpv. think its easy get a sim and put it in acro mode and go fly.....
It’s best to watch these info war videos from the last minute to the end! Saves wasting time on exaggerated drama!👍🏾
TOG1964 what do you mean 'most defeated'? we fight more fights then any nation beause they are abusing power, and we almost never lose lol
TOG1964 The War of Independence, The War of 1812, the Mexican-American War, The Civil War, The Indian Wars, the Spanish-American War, plus WWI & WWII
TOG1964 The War of Independence, The War of 1812, the Mexican-American War, The Indian Wars, the Spanish-American War and along with its allies both WWI and WWII and those are only the WARS we won
A f’men
I got married and had four children and put them through college while this guy was explaining.
😂😂😂
Now that was funny 🤣
It's an American thing
6 minutes in and I'm giving up
Thanks for the heads up. I'm out.
There's some very good analogies in this episode. I like the trying to read a book while running through a library one.
What about the analogy for when a bogie gets within your minimum missile arming range? - ie/ "Like a long armed boxer trying to hit an opponent intent on hugging him". Also like the angry popcorn one. Where was the one you were talking about, I missed it, and want to get the context. Cheers.
It's like trying to watch a video with a guy who won't shut up.
Or a movie with my ex-wife
I disagree. Why say 10 words when a 1000 is... more.
Not married, huh?
Well I appreciate your enthusiasm, get to the point.
"This meeting could have been an E-mail."
White ain't Semite. Who killed JFK? John J "McCloy". Irish? Yiddish.
Let's start there. ✝️🖤😎🇺🇸
Zzzzzzzzz sooooooo long
Thanks for the heads up. I started skipping and this video is not worth 20 minutes of my life. Im not even going to search for frequently played parts anymore. Nothing is in the ones I looked at.
definitely sounds like a discovery show in 2010. A lot of words and enthusiasm but no substance. Bro, just spit it out and lax off on the intensifiers. There is meat to this story, but cut the fat.
You could remove a significant amount of unnecessary words so it no longer sounds as if it’s narrating a Red-Bull event. This is important information, but I’m waiting for the skateboard advert to start.
😅
video production does not happen on its own. takes humans - writers, editors, distribution nets AND it relies on historic film and photos. I am humbly thankful for the opportunites to witness history on my cable connection. many thanks and all honor to our vets.
That and it sounds like a WWE commentary
I'd prefer boring and to the point than breathless verbal diarrhea
Even running it a double speed I got fed up waiting for the whole picture to emerge and instead came to comments to grin at the views most folk have expressed.
@jserkiz06 a researcher would be a good addition. 10metres = 33 feet but 35m is NOT 10ft.
the narrative could have been a shit ton tighter
sadly, this is exactly what they want.... a tight video is what we want, a certain duration is what pays off unfortunately...
@Raul28153 8:42 and I stopped watching. Just looping the same clips. Couldn't be bothered to skip to the end 🥱
@mattydare Oooh, close. I made it to 8:44
Yep. 20 minutes for a 5 minute story.
Is the shit ton closer to a metric ton, a short ton, or a long ton? I get them confused.
When I hear THAT voice I know this is going to be bad.... bye within seconds!
110%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I looove that voice and the funny storytelling!
@Lola85831AI bot
Hi bots, thanks for the clicks 😛
@DN-uv8fz You know what, I actually sticked through it all, and really enjoyed it. The mission they pulled off is amazing and I appreciated to get some extra details and context from the narration. Peace!
Radar doesn’t track heat signatures. It tracks radar reflections from objects. IRST tracks heat signatures. Get it right folks!
Just an F.Y.I. for everyone.
This comment is correct by stating that radar tracks reflections not heat.
RA = Radio
D = Detection
A = And
R = Ranging
It says nothing about heat.
Note:
Radio is also an acronym.
R = Remote
A = Audio
D = Discrete
I = Integrated
O = Oscillations
@im1who84u. The word radio is derived from the Latin word radius, meaning "spoke of a wheel, beam of light, ray." It was first applied to communications in 1881 when, at the suggestion of French scientist Ernest Mercadier, Alexander Graham Bell adopted radiophone (meaning "radiated sound") as an alternate name for his photophone optical transmission system.
Radio is not and never was an acronym
Google says that operate together and combine results for accuracy. IRST is bad at accuracy .
Since when do you track heat signatures with radar?
When you use chatgpt to generate scripts
For that they use IR thermometers: Sadly it works extremely well, and people have big heat signatures which makes us easy targets!
Never give up the fight Ukraine 🇺🇦
Every time I watch Ukraines hero's, Slava Ukraine!
such short memories we aided Poland to what end, Communism won most of Europe after nationalism was defeated.
Slava Ukraini!
They’re losing
@brizzle3903Nonsense, Q. Trump supporter perchance? Because you're delusional.
"Tracking their heat signatures through their Radar"? Guys, are you seroius?
Radar homers for drones? That's expensive...
Radar watching the heat signatures of drones? Yeah I'll just stop watching here
That's like 100mil bucks of missiles shot at less than 100k worth of drones 😂
Who knew that play video games all day, you will become a very good soldier. Love it
One thing this report shows is the importance of having intelligence on how The Enemy's equipment works and the training their crews have. In the case of Ukraine, it's almost like a civil war with the Ukrainians knowing first hand what the equipment is, how it works and how the crews use it. They are willing to innovate and have access to new and different tech. The Russians, generally follow doctrine, with their ability to innovate limited by their equipment and old tech.
Those old seaplanes are museum-grade aircraft. All they are used for now is search and rescue.
I enjoy these videos but just a friendly suggestion=There is no "OH" in military numbers and the correct number is "Zero" if you want to sound more military.
Sure there is. You're just not around the military to hear it being used.
The S400 ignoring drones under 100km/h because of a 2007 hardcode is mind-blowing. Does anyone know if that's a common flaw in older radar systems?
It's just bullshit. The radar 96L6E for example classifies targets into four modes: aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), and missiles. The appropriate mode is selected based on the type of engagement. The system is capable of engaging helicopters even in hovering, so there is obviously no limit to the minimum engagement speed. However, there are minimum engagement distances based on the target's speed and height. For the sake of completeness, the AS400 system provides a ballistic launch mode where no radar lock on the target is required but only trajectory data. This is obviously very imprecise because the missile relies only on the gyroscopic system to maintain its trajectory. At the moment, it seems that the Russians are developing a terminal guidance system (probably coupling the gyroscope to a GLONASS satellite system) to obtain low-cost guided surface-to-surface missiles by upgrading the missiles they already possess.
Like so many previous comments, I too am quite used to seeing much shorter videos, of the damage done. However, I am glad I took the time to view this one, knowing it was 20 plus minutes, instead of 2.
THANK YOU, I had no idea how involved it is to make a successful incursion, and to how many layers of defense there are. I will now view the short clips with far more appreciation.
Did I hear that correctly? A very valuable target of opportunity, a transport aircraft carrying 180 troops, was completely ignored in this operation? What a wasted opportunity!
I don't think the Beavers can keep up. The transport was going the same direction, probably at higher altitude, and the Beavers just benefitted from an accidentally overlap in their course and the transport.
@IainMcClatchie Maybe. If so, that would be important information to pass along!
This breakdown really shows how modern warfare is becoming a systems problem, not just a weapons problem. The drones didn’t win by brute force-they won by exploiting seams: software filters, engagement limits, terrain masking, and human reaction time. That’s the scary part.
Air defenses didn’t “fail” here-they were out-thought by cheaper, slower systems designed to slip through the cracks.
If this is the future, then layered defenses alone aren’t enough anymore. Adaptability and rapid counter-learning matter just as much as missiles and radar.
Need to fly the drones at the radar so the missiles hit the drones as the overshot smashes the radar dish.
How did two of the three Beavers get 'blown out of the sky' at 18.14.....yet all three carried on and hit targets ??
I think there were five (of 6) left, but the Russian AA only identified three. After they hit two, three were left for real, all of which found targets.
On my last flight I watched three holliwood action movies, none was even kissing the shoes of the engagement of this video!
I do like your videos. Thank you!
That said, I do have to say that the constant barrage of corny analogies gets a little old pretty quick.
Wow. This was much more exciting than I'd expected. Great presentation.
At 8:25, he's just sitting there, eating McDonald's Chicken Nuggets, playing Xbox in a basement.... it's like he never left home.
World's most angry popcorn...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉
Ukraine💙💛🇺🇦💪

The Russian Bots are arriving to mass hate in the comments lol
just seen 2 so far
Most people with more than a single braincell support Russia.
@paul756uk2 hello Russian bot
@paul756uk2Why?
@lizekamtombe2223because Russia are not the aggressors, contrary to what people are told on the mainstream media. They want everyone to believe Russia are the bad guys. They're not.
Some very smart people on the side of freedom in Ukraine. Well done.
Ukraine is great, but this channel is just lies.
trading altitude for speed, trading altitutde for speed, speed altitude, speed
LOL! I worry about the veracity here - at 5:12 the graphic upper left says that 35 m is equal to 10 feet. Most of the graphics are wrong.
Love Yorkies
i like the pathos you put in these videos: good images, tension in the voice's talker... so good.
Ukrainian attack strategy is diabolical.👍
All the time I just thought, get to the point, did they hit their targets, mission complete, or did they fail and die
S400 at Mach14? I don't think so...
❤❤❤ I LOVE UKRAINE 🇺🇦
15:36 odd, why wasn’t the military transport brought down as well? Looks more of a higher value target than old planes.
Love the analogies
Slava Ukraini❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
😂😂😂bit late for that
Why are the russians using QWERTY keyboards?
That operator must play racing games in their free time.
It takes over 20 minutes to tell a story that should have been told in a couple of minutes. More RUclips crap !
Wow....Really enjoyed this. I WANT MORE! Great video
This is a brilliant modern adaptation to military strategies like " Operation Bolo" in Vietnam days .
35 meters is 10 feet, wow, new age math.
Si que tiene los pies grandes.Deben s bigfoot.
Russia should must have Indian D4 and Aakashteer system
Why didn't they take down the personel plane that provided cover?
"Rare BE-12 planes" (from the 1950s). So rare, they could've come out of a museum.
Merry Christmas to Ukrainian Heroes!
I hope whoever plans these missions never sits down at my poker table.😊
I'm amazed that a $500 drone can take out irreplaceable aircraft like the BE-12. Is this the end of traditional air superiority?
Well done Ukraine, Slava Ukraine ❤from Australia 🇦🇺 👏 👍
Video super
06:26 "That wasn't courage, that was..."??? Seriously???
"Courage" is a human trait, not remote-controlled aircraft.
strategy is letting the drone die for you
I’m Casey Kasem, and this is America’s Top Forty…
fit drones with radar receivers and trackers to locate and disable the Tors and S400 and other radar units to create more blind spots
I like everything the build up the depth of the hole thing well put let's see more
"At daylight, in pre-dawn darkness..." Which was it?
Really, you need that explained? He said the defense should have worked... In daylight. End of sentence. The time of 05:20 then came on the screen to show that it wasn't daylight, it was just before daylight. The next sentence begins "in the pre dawn darkness" hence the defense wasn't effective.
Come on. There's a lot wrong with the video, but this mistake is on YOU.
Awesome, but why didn't they take out each battery? Those are more important than a seaplane, no?
It wasn't too long for me. I found all the details interesting.
*Slava Ukraine!*
палубий и фарион с бандерой тебя и подобных заждались
This shows how drones have completely reshaped modern combat-low-cost systems taking out high-value aircraft with shocking efficiency. It’s less about spectacle and more about how fast technology is rewriting the rules of airpower.
Only one word! "BRILLIANT! "
Good planning
Why is it always put forth to all of us like Russia never wins any of these engagements when we all know they do?
Wow, just wow!If all of this is true, it's got to be the best executed military operation, ever! Slava Ukraini, and Crimea is Ukraine.
Seems that taking out the air defense systems may have been the more high value target vs. two dated planes.
Impressive!! Some very bright individuals. Although, it is war being discussed, I could only look on in awe. It truly is a shame that such resources can't be used in more productive and beneficial ways. Nothing is more important than trying to protect your people, it's just very sad that man continues to put himself and others in these situations.
That's a great job
Great video. Genius strategy.
Were you riding on one of the drones? 🤣
BEAUTIFUL!! Slava Ukraini!
палубий и фарион с бандерой тебя и подобных заждались
Battery capacity (range) does decrease by about 30% at freezing temps. However running the heater is an ADDITIONAL drain on the battery!
Good point. I wonder if they keep batteries warm before launching. Once they are flying they probably stay warm on their own??
'A metric crap ton.' impressive indeed.
They need to add a few more drones to each mission to take out the mobile radar vehicles. It's harder to defend yourself and attack the rest of your squadron at the same time.
Send Ukraine some money, get your friends to donate too, and they’ll be able to afford more drones!!
@HRHDMKYT Or nose candy for the Boss.
Leaving the mobile radar alone could be giving Ukraine an advantage. Those are forcing the Russians to waste very expensive rockets on cheap drones. Ukraine should have a good idea of how many of those are available to shoot off. The radar crews might be getting in trouble over attacking decoys so get redeployed to hot zones where drones do destroy mobile radar units and eliminate their highly trained crews.
Yeah I agree..
The Air Defense Operators need to have only good reasons to abandon their command centers for being made certain they are always going to be a prioritized target.
Go Ukraine 🇺🇦 💪 💙 💛 💙💛💙💛💙💛💙💛💙
It's not bye for now, it's ciao for now.
When did this happened ohhh at 0500 local time 😂😂😂
You're okay, it is a long wheelbase, and it seems to be a good build in general!
Like the obsolete British Swordfish biplanes successfully attacking the Bismark. S400: "less than 100 mph ? . . . Ignore, move on". So advanced yet so helpless.
Humans are really good at killing each other 😪
Bro how bad are those drone pilots he was all over the place I don’t even fly drones and I could’ve hit that parked plane better 😂
It's interesting: This guy knows everything about the operation. He knows not only what the Ukrainians thought and said but also what the Russians did - and he even has footage of every second of that event. Wow!
Tracking heat signature with radar?
That was an awesome video thank you for that
I watched all of Project Binky , and got two new episodes, before I got to the end of this.
Alm the debris falling to the ground SOMEWHERE?😊
Good Morning Hollywood ! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ata/i teribilism.Cum sa /i inveti sa ti/o traga ?...O data e surpriza, a doua oara ti/o iei de nu te vezi...
SLAVA UKRAINE SA
God bless Ukraine eliminate scum of the earth Putin❤️❤️
Great video! Tons of terrible ads interrupting your content.
That's something really special, when 35M equals 10ft. 5:11 - 5:12
I wonder why I didn’t go after the panzer or the buk
God is not on Putin's side!
"Bounced like a caffeinated squirrel"
How do you come up this stuff :o)
