I recall in late childhood, the sacred fire being created on Holy Saturday to relight the lamp signaling that the ciborium full of hosts had returned to the altar's tabernacle, a powerful image in a darkened church. For over a decade now, I have lit votive candles for All Saints & All souls Days inside on our home altar and outdoors next to our lichen-covered Japanese stone-lantern standing in for the family graves far away from us. Thank you for this wonderful program.
So interesting! Loved this video
Thank you!
Thank you Magdalena! That was wonderful and now I am ready for Spring! All the best. Great presentation. Love Anne
Thank you, Anne! It took quite a bit of work to make this video, so I'm happy you've enjoyed it!

Thank you for sharing your experience! It must look wonderful, with the light outside for the souls!
Thanks for this wonderful video! I found the image of the old kitchen/hearth very evocative, and was amazed by the photos of the cemetery at night.
The interesting thing is that my husband's granma still had a hearth like this! I saw it when we visited once.
What a nice memory.@@wolfofcoins
