- Sky News host Caroline DI Russo says someone with a sharp set of eyes has noticed a “mistruth” with one of the stories Meghan Markle told in her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
A video has surfaced of Queen Elizabeth II placing a blanket over her knees - causing controversy due to Meghan claiming the late Queen had also put it over her.
Harry's wife seems like a compulsive liar.

Boo hoo hoo. And I have been financially "cut-off" from my family. I had to use the $5 million my mother left me (in case you didn't know world, my mother Princess Diana was killed in a car accident) or Meg and I wouldn't be able to survive. Boo hoo boo hoo blah blah blah Everyone in the universe feel sorry for Megs and me. Anyway, Okra I can't stay for the entire interview. I have a child I have to take care of, mow the yard, clean the pool, laundry, clean the mansion, I meant house, not mansion. You know those 15+ bathrooms aren't going to clean to themselves. Oh and I've got to go to the grocery store and figure out what I will prepare for dinner that includes some kind of ROOT vegetable, etc.
Oh I almost forgot I've got to go to the stables where Naco keeps his beautiful polo ponies (I have to remember to bring my spurs) and rough them up so they know who's the boss. It's me, not Nacho.

There were just so many other blatant lies told in the interview that blanketgate doesn't even register.
We don't know what happened with M, QE and the blanket the whole ride. Maybe at some point after that clip, QE offered her the blanket. But, since Meghan has been proven to be a compulsive liar, I simply don't trust her to be honest. Even if she is telling the truth about the blanket, I just don't care. This woman would have to do a major rehaul of her personality and remain consistent in her actions for years to come before I would possibly find her credible. After all, she's had 42 years to become what she has. Good things she's not depending on me to buy anything she's selling. She'd starve. Harry, too.
Remember.....at that outing, the Queen stated that Meghan wouldn't stop talking. When the Queen rubs her eye, it means she is annoyed and to get her out of there. The Queen kept turning her head away from Meghan to talk to her Aide.
AND.......If you remember, Meghan got into the car BEFORE THE Queen. And even if she wasn't the Queen, a NORMAL person would allow an elderly person to get into the car, FIRST.....out of respect for the elderly and consideration for her aged condition.
Meghan is psychotic.....and narcissistic. She doesn't have the ability to truly love someone...... anyone.
She has No compassion, nor does she have respect for elderly.
And most of all, Meghan has absolutely no respect for other country's traditions, culture, or customs. If Meghan couldn't even respect the UK's & Monarchy's traditions, customs, & traditions; how could she ever be a politician?
And a politician needs to have the ability to adapt to all other country's customs, traditions, and their culture.
Meghan has proven she could NEVER be a politician of any kind.

The blanket is a small detail. The fact that Markle made a deliberate point of lying about it in a high profile interview is not.

That did look like HM the Queen shared the blanket - but there's that habit Meghan had and has, of cutting down in stature everyone around her: in The Cut, she never once referred to HM Queen Elizabeth as either 'Her Majesty' or 'The Queen' - only ever "H's grandmother" and "the matriarch of the family"...
Our Queen specifically requested that Meghan wear a hat but she refused and sat next to her resembling a bag of spanners!

So the Queen was kind and offered to share her blanket and behaves like a "Grandmother" - then Markle repays her by bad mouthing the Royal Family, criticising the Commonwealth which we all know was Queen Elizabeth's life work of which she was very proud, increasing membership of the Commonwealth throughout her reign, puts the Winfrey interview on when Prince Philip was dying (Queen Elizabeth's strength and stay), refuses to visit Queen Elizabeth in the days before she was dying (assuming she was included in the invitation), mocks her with that "curtsey" and likens the monarchy to "Medieval Times" - good on you Markle!
Maybe she put the blanket on her lap AFTER the car started to move. Maybe this was just before that. Weird that a grown adult didnt think of that
