I think the past and present concept makes the series a bit more fun and also far more manageable. Some options like Guendouzi welcome -> golden glow up II would be very nice and far better than Elneny. Same with Maitland-Niles for the wingback, it allows for the opportunity to branch the squad out and use players from other leagues from time to time.
Who thought it would be so hard to pack Fabio Vieira.

I think a past and present would lead to more varied teams throughout the year. I also think that for some evolutions (like this one) a current arsenal player either won’t fit into it or just won’t be any good even with a completed evolution, meaning it’ll be behind the power curve massively in 2-3 weeks and you’ll start getting bogged down by not being able to compete with the better teams. Opening it up to past players means there’s a chance each evolution can lead to a great player but you’ll still have a challenge in fitting them in, which for makes it far more engaging content!

Silver pack method is good rn with a fair few silvers in demand for the new evos. Then grind into gold upgrades for Fabio.
hey Nep! just wondering why, if youre willing to buy past arsenal icons and heroes etc for the squad, are you not willing to buy fabio viera for the evo insted of doing the other one you mentioned if you dont pack him? Loving the content!
hey nep, that wrighty miss at 21:45 (not excusing it, he should be scoring those but) it does make me think that this is where utilising your players' playstyles would make a difference and differentiate the way you play with every player - he doesn't have the finesse shot playstyle (harsh) but he has chip shot+ so I feel like wherever possible that's the shot type you should go for with him to give yourself the best chance of converting chances. been loving the content and excited to hopefully see vela in the squad soon :)

I don’t think so - you can put gravenberch into welcome to evo and then Golden glow up 2 so can’t see why it wouldn’t work as long as the stats don’t go over the requirement limits

I'm usually a comfortable div 1 player but this year I can't get out of div 5. Any reason as to why this might be this year. This year like all previous ones my teams not super sweaty meta but this year it feels asif tho a bad player with a meta team wins alot more of the time.
Do past and present evo’s ans just buy the cards if you don’t pack then with a few days left on the evo challenge

I’m a Celtic and Man United fan and I’d obviously like to do Mainoo for the golden glow ups but he’s impossible to buy and I’ve spent roughly 100k on bronze packs and still not got him, sadly none of the Celtic players fit the requirements either so I’m stuck in who to use in that.. and even the new ones that came out, it doesn’t make any of the Celtic silvers usable enough, it’s quite frustrating.

Hey mate. Just to touch on and give my input into evos in general, I love the idea of them. I'll add to this to start, I'm not a good player. I'm a 9 to 11 win player in champs. So I struggle a bit, which is where I feel I'm more compelled to use the evos on more meta players, because if I don't I'm in some trouble. However where I feel ea have missed the trick is by not making these repeatable. I'm Australian, and support brisbane roar. I would absolutely love to be able to grind out my team from bronze to beast, but just feel im missing out on the playability of the game by doing so. If they were repeatable, I would absolutely grind my players as well as the meta cards. Even if it's the evos with a cost. I would be far more likely to spend 1000 points on a 84 rated card of a player I love, then on a rare players pack in the store. Such an amazing concept, quite poorly executed. On top of that, make every card available for evos. Don't have minimum requirements, have a maximum stat per category on an evo. If that means the pace is only increased by 1, so be it. Just my thoughts, thanks for the continued content and entertainment

Hi Nep not sure if you’ve seen but it doesn’t allow you to put someone in the pacey winger if you’ve used them in the relentless winger even if they’re eligible. Surely just a glitch because EA said we can upgrade evolutions more than once. Just frustrating especially when there’s only 12 days left to do it
since we are going a little of the track of the initial idea (adding past Arsenal players), you could consider buying Fabio Viera.

Nep I’m doing the smae arsenal Evo thing as you and I can’t believe how hard it is to pack arsenal players. The only one I’ve packed has been Fabio Vieria which is crazy. I wish they would release more evos that fit a broader player so I could put more arsenal players in. Keep up the good work
i did vela Mexican team mate duenas his bronze perfect link 55 bronze you can do the Evos bronze 1 > Bruiser wingback > bronze 2 then he becomes a 84 CM

An Idea : EA should add an option to change the Dynamic picture of your Evolution Card, For instance, Suppose I have fully evolved the Kubo Card and then I could change his dynamic picture on the card using a PNG , So, I can use that card with a beautiful dynamic image
Evo only arsenal players, that was the dream at the end have 99 rated arsenal players, so who knows what you can do later on with already evo players like Cedric or the bad winger

Why not use a purchased Fábio Vieira? He becames untradable anyway. Being a FC Porto fan he is one of my favourite PL players and I know how good he can become, I am watching this series with so much expectation to see how he plays (i still haven't bought this game to do it myself) with the evolutions. Still haven't seen anyone use him 😢😢

I definitely think that past players should be allowed for evos. It’s your ultimate team after all and as long as the players mean something to you (and has an Arsenal connection) they should be eligible.
Level Up Ciao Henrique was one of my favourite cards last year the guy was honestly a gem for me
You should just buy Fabio Vieira from the market because he turns Untradeable anyway. Just make sure the one you buy has no games played on it

If you can't get a present Arsenal player that's usable the past is the way to go
Instead of wasting the Welcome Evo on Elneny who would be bad regardless, why not do the Welcome Evo on Cedric/Wienrother and then Bruiser Fullback to give them an extra boost so they could be a little more usable?

Dynamic Duos would be so much better if both players received an additional boost when in the same team. Similar to 2K.

I was quite hung up on first owner but decided to buy weinrother, she has slightly better stats than Cedric, with gio, she will never be good enough with the winger upgrade she only goes to a 75, as much as I wanted to do all arsenal evos, I opted for Lucas Vazquez as he looks the best on paper and links to my militao! Def think you should just buy vieira rather than do elneny the rate these evos are coming, he will never be any good!
