Im 61 and Yes they were the days huh ? So glad to be able to watch those old shows again 'cause they sure dont or never will make 'um like that ever again. Also, Andy Griffith and the Beverly Hillbillies were good shows too !!!
The character of Kathy in this episode was decades ahead of her time. An empowered female character in a 50s TV show was a rarity. Also, notice that the dive hoods Mike and Kathy were wearing were not tucked into their wetsuits.
Humm, let's see... "Anne Okley"... "Honey West"... "The Avengers". "I Love Lucy"... Nope no empowered women back in those days. Lol Also alot more people of color that folks realize too.
M-1 Garand is a great rifle, and with 8 shots of .30-06 (and a quick, automatic eject when the clip (yes, clip, not magazine) is empty) those guys were seriously out-gunned!
Actress Pamela Duncan passed away in 2005 at age 80 from a stroke. She was in many 'B' movies ( Attack of the Crab Monsters) for one and many other T.V. shows like Peter Gunn, Laramie, Perry Mason, etc.
When I first saw that bit, I thought mike was working a bolt. After reading your comment I looked again and sure enough, It was a Garand. And Mike still has his thumb
That is the mask for a “hooka” rig. No tank, just a regulator on a strap. Regulator sat on the back at roughly lung level. Compromise between a hard hat rig and SCUBA. You don’t have the weight of a hard hat rig (nor even the lightweight helmet alternative design) or the limited air supply from a single or multiple tank kit. For certain uses, a hooka rig is great. No special training; unlimited downtime,; jaw muscles don’t tire or cramp from biting a mouthpiece; ability to use early microphone designs for speech, etc. used hooka with Navy dive teams on shallow water operations.
Set the valve for a little leakage? Yet another screwball concept. Great show, but....really???? Nice having an M1 Garand right there. “Over, and out”... Navy radio SOP? Also screwy.
Sea Hunt and Voyage to the Bottom of the sea and Lost in Space . I am 67
and Jonny Quest and Flinstones
This was great

Rest in Peace Ms Duncan...
I bet that was the 1st underwater kiss on TV. Go Mike...…..
But only on the cheek. Yeah it was a kiss
Pamela Duncan was a beautiful lady. She was in Highway Patrol, also playing a judo savvy FBI agent and was in many B movies and TV shows.

This episode is mighty good...not a single dull moment...much obliged, folks!!!

Actually, it is neither a clip nor magazine. Rather, it is an en bloc.
The nose cone...omg...so nasa bogus!

Hondo, the stunt divers were Zale Parry. Albert Tillman, and Jon Lindbergh, son of aviator Charles Lindbergh.
It’s a surface supplied rig called Jack Brown, all Navy divers know that, there’s also one used in Men of Honor by Robert Deniro
Great series, huh?
Lloyd Bridges has a very natural, relaxed style of acting which adds to the realism to his character.
The shark gun is a m1 garand.
When I first saw that bit, I thought mike was working a bolt. After reading your comment I looked again and sure enough, It was a Garand. And Mike still has his thumb
An empty Rolleimarine camera housing as a signal receiver! Crafty..
The actress was in Mike Hammer if I'm right.. a good episode.
She was his secretary in a movie. She was also a judo savvy FBI agent in Highway Patrol.
When did it stop being skin diving and become scuba diving ?
Skin diving is with a snorklr; scuba diving is with the scuba gear.
Ms Duncan was hot. Gorgeius ladyShe was also in highway patrol and Mike Hammer series
Look for her in an early Roger Corman horror film, The Undead. Looks like the actress Fairuza Belk
Who knows the name of the triangular mask he puts on in the beginning credits? I use to own and dive one.

120 feet down and the best she could do is a PECK on the cheek . . . better luck in the next episode 🤣
Curious as to know what the female co- star looks like today . . .
michael flores Ms. Duncan was 33 when she appeared in the Sea Hunt episode. She died in 2005 at age 80.www.imdb.com/name/nm0242056/reference
Who was it that they used as Mike's underwater diver...we know it was not Loydd
Courtney Brown
Hondo Stone ; My understanding is, he was an avid SCUBA diver, so it probably was him.
It was Lloyd.

Don't laugh but Mike always prepared for a little leakage when skin diving with a pretty gal
