So what I understood from this is that Orpheus’s 2nd personality “Nightmare” was responsible for making the hallucinogens used to incite more violence on its participants. With the panning of the Hunters like Galatea stabbing some rock with her knife, I think it rules out the theory that Hunters aren’t real and were just hallucinated by Survivors. Hunters ARE actual beings (Hastur and Yidhra) or at least former Survivors who were turned into one (Luchino). Their personalities were just consumed by the drug to become even more violent. I think Nightmare invites 5 people to the manor and picks a person he randomly assigns as the killer the “violent” drugs to consume. This causes that 5th participant to “extend their amygdala” meaning to lose their memories and be trapped in an “abyss” state so they’re more or less a killing machine to the rest of the participants. This explains why some Hunters were detailed originally as Survivors but were unfortunate enough to consume the violent hallucinogen (Luchino Diruse) and begin killing while the other teammates remain fine because they didn’t consume it in the first place (Eli and Demi). I’m just happy now that this video literally disproves the whole “Hunters are not real and were just made up by Survivors hallucinating bla bla”. Like I said before, Hunters are real beings (Mary, Geisha, Ripper) who just received amplication to kill Survivors from the drugs they took and may or may not have been human before.
I said it once and i say it again, the fact this free to play mobile game has a story that is consistently engaging and leaves the honey on the lips so often you just forget about everything else, is amazing.
Yes, I mean if all mobile games were this good, smartphones will be taken more seriously as a gaming platform How many mobile games can you compare to a PC game in quality and not losing? (Yeah I'm taking about dbd)
With everything they've showed so far, I really hope that the hunter is still a real person with actual purpose and existed in the game like Yidhra, Hastur, Mary, Robbie and the other otherworldly type of hunter. I'm truly worried if they're all just a hallucinations as indicated from what Orpheus is implying on but I hope that they'll also give us a proper closure for this arc. I can't imagine having to wait another 3 years just to see them moving the plot again.
most of the hunters are dead, so yeah, the dead characters actually halucinations planted at the subject's brain in to their dream. From main story we know that the survivors still have chances to run away from the mansion and continue living in RL
I’m pretty sure that the hunters like stated were once survivors just like the rest of them but was selected by “Nightmare” with the drugs to amplify there “Violence” as well as sharing “Orpheus” Agdy-whatever its called a.k.a amnesia basically making the hunters mindless killers. So I’m pretty sure that all the hunters ARE still real but more an explanation for why Leo Beck became Hellember or how all the hunters one way or the other were “coerced” to being hunters. Since like a good portion of the hunters in game through their backstory are not violent by nature nor would they be easily coerced to just attack people for some of them.

They are survivors on drugs that have became hunters.Probably due to the hallucinogens the " hunters " were seen by the other survivors like some sort of strange entitys.The beckgruonds of hunters are probably the history of them when they were survivors only changed in order to fit them in their new nature .
Unlikely- in Orpheus' other "introduction" video, it's said that he left the manor when his parents died and went to an orphanage. Also, i think he was invited via a letter. Ig you can say its possible that he was just making that up OR orpheus was somehow convinced/forced to help out the actual manor owner but thats just speculation at this point
