On the AOE's at 20% you can dodge the final pulse of it even if you are CCed by the 2nd one. Just smash your dodge key forward and you'll never get pushed off by that skill.
The best thing to know about this boss is that the range attack he does it's always the same, the second shard from the left will be pointed at the target. Knowing that you can place the ranged group on the left of the tank and they will never have to deal with those shards. Try it out :)
One minor correction - you mention that the fast circle attack with no player requirement has random placement, which is not the case. All of his circles will appear in fixed locations, depending on the phase. For each phase, the circles will be progressively further from the boss. Otherwise, this is a really nice guide! It should be useful for new players learning the boss.

The heals are sufficient without them. Focus over warhorn in the offhand because of Swirling Winds on Air attunements. No magnetic auras (hence no rebound), reflects are bad. They will hit your melee team. Lightning Flash for "Oh shit I need to get to a green circle right fucking now" button. Feel free to reply with any other questions you might have!

Apparently you don't need a tank at all though.

you dont need ppl in all of the circles i think, so you can just go into one of the "1 star" circles
