I like the story that this run tells. Pyg starts with some electronics, the clothes on his back, and a dream. Then he purchases an ATM and starts doing well - he buys groceries and pet bird. And then he steals the patent from another inventor for a bigger, better security system.
then he starts doing shady stuff to keep on top and hinder the competition starting fires and slowing them down. my man lost his honor for greed along the way.
That penultimate fight at 36:04 was wild. Your send off message has me super excited for this game. This looks like a game where a lost run can still be fun, which is key for me losing hours of my life lol.
I had a sick Force Field run this week with Dooley that got me a 10 win. I had a diamond turbo fiber optics and an atomic clock, so every time it triggered it charged my force field 2 seconds and hasted it, and I had the perk that gives you shield equal to 75% of your health on start of battle. So within like 2-3 seconds, my force field was triggering twice with like 5000 damage each, if they even survived the first trigger. It was wild.
So strange, I was playing ranked pig who had picked up force field randomly while this video was playing in the background. I finished on day 11 with 10 wins, shielded landscraper (750), shield piggle for scaling and quick trigger, multitool, forcefield, bird, and cog. I also hit on Big Numbers for 40% extra crit on force field combo'd with Staying Power (heal on tool use) and Combat Medic (when you heal, give an item cri %), plus sharp corners.
while i'm certain it would have been the wrong play, i'm still a bit sad you didn't go for sell force field and atlatl for minimalist, straight into the landscraper for your next shop. it would have been great, but there was a dozen reasons not to and know way to know something like that was coming
Hail the algorithm! This was a fun one. You mentioned in another video that you had forced poison Dooley "like a degenerate." That'd be fun to see if you can pull it off again
So Dooley's legendary skin is the one where he gets a mec around him and hes in the center, and pygs is the gem collector looking skin, but what does Vanessa's look like, ive never seen hers.
I think they could make ship in a bottle better by making it a property. Snowglobe is one, so there's already precedent for making unconventional items property

Absolutely love the vid, and can't wait for the open beta to get my hands on this game
Some items being better for other character helps with the immersion of this being a bazaar and having to shop around or do a series of trades.

If you didn't know grabbing everything from the vault in the thieves guild gives you 110 gold or something close to that

i think hers is a Tron-like body suit, with a giant laser sword.
