Let’s take a look at the hardest, most difficult and toughest sports in the world. In this video, we are counting down and probability comparison to the hardest sport which requires the most complex skills to master.
For each sport, there will be 10 Key Attributes. Each attribute is given a ranking score out of 10. The scores are added together to give a final difficulty level to determine which sport is the most physically and mentally demanding.
For every attribute, there is a gauge. This gauge shows the toughness level that is required to be skillful. For example, the higher the Endurance gauge is, the hardest and difficult it will be.
So.. do you think gymnastics, baseball, swimming, golf or even skiing are still one of the easiest Olympic sport for you ? Don't be surprised by your hidden talent!
Below is the explanation of the 10 Key Attributes:
1) Endurance : Ability to perform a skill or action for long periods of time. (e.g Floyd Landis)
2) Strength : Ability to produce force. (e.g : Football Linebackers)
3) Power : Ability to produce strength in shortest possible time. (e.g Alex Rodriguez, David Ortiz)
4) Speed : Ability to move quickly (e.g. Usain Bolt)
5) Agility : Ability to change direction quickly. (e.g. Derek Jeter)
6) Flexibility : Ability to stretch the joints across a large range of motion (e.g. gymnastic)
7) Nerve : Ability to overcome fear. (e.g. ski jumpers board diver)
8) Durability : Ability to withstand physical punishment over a period of time. (e.g. NFL)
9) Hand-Eye Coord : Able to react quickly to sensory perception. (e.g. racer acceleration to green light)
10) Analytic Aptitude : Ability to evaluate and react appropriately to strategic situations.
(e.g. volleyball guard on a fast break)

Personally, I think distance running is harder than sprinting, because yeah, sprinters lift a ton of weights and do a ton of leg work, in distance running, you need to be able to handle extreme pain, even when it is very tempting to just drop onto the ground and give up
Jesus loves you
Being a good distance runner is quite significantly based on your biology and upbringing. It's why so many of them come from the Kenyan highlands.
Specifically the Kalenjin people.
@@JourneyLT you can say the same thing for sprinters. West Africans are built for sprints since their torsos are short and their legs are long which is why Jamaica is so dominant in the sprints

Interesting that one of the hardest sports isn’t even listed. Synchronized swimming combines gymnastics, weight lifting and speed swimming all while being artistic upside down holding your breath.
And with the amount of hits, kicks and concussions we see, this sport would be like boxing under water.
So u'r telling me that basketball is harder than skateboarding, what kinda bullshit is this. Basketball takes at least 2 months to be average at it. Skateboarding takes at least 5-10 years to be average

being an equestrian shouldn’t be number 54… people say the horse does all the work but it isn’t true. it should be top 10. people trust themselves with animals that could ki** them in a second. as an equestrian, i have gotten injured so many different ways. yet, people think hokey or football ( American and soccer ) is making me hurt. some many equestrians are called weak. it so disrespectful and disgusting. i have been told my whole life. "You will never be successful." or, "It’s just a phase." well it isn’t. it is my *life.* and when i go to school my friends and classmates say "imagine riding a horse. it does all the work. play soccer or softball." well, the horse is trained to when when you squeeze, or kick they go. i have also been told. "You are an animal ab*ser." well i am not. the ab*sing algorithm is called big lick. it is completely different from how i ride. i ride english, and yet other western equestrians have called me : soft, weak and more terrible names. i feel equestrians are heavily disregarded as a sport. we love are horses and people need to understand we aren’t ab*sing them. please send equines some love.

HAHA IM SORRY BUT GYMNASTICS IS WAY HARDER THAN TENNIS FOOTBALL AND BASKETBALL-
Tennis and gymnastics are top. Football and basketball are too hyped for their actual toughness. Ever watched a tennis match? Just you running miles by yourself along with technique and power that takes years to really learn
Motocross is harder tho
Yeah and I think spinning and throwing a 35lb weight 80 feet is harder than table tennis. List makes 0 sense.
I think team sports and individual sports should be separated in lists like these bc individual sports are generally always harder than team sports because of the sher endurance you need play the physical abilities. But in terms of team sports yes Football is at the top of the list and even in a combined list it’s in the top ten at least. Ppl who don’t know football just think that you just need to be an athletic brute but that’s far from the case. You need to have an IQ and the best players are extremely intelligent when it comes to the game. You have to identify, recognize, and react all within mere seconds to concepts on both sides of the ball for all positions. This is along with being big and strong. I can’t get into specific on Roy’s because a non or even casual football watcher wouldn’t understand but there’s a lot more that goes into it. But yes I’m a combined list tennis, boxing, and gymnastics should all be in the top 5.
@@scottysatpanalysis yes I have but u can’t paralyze yourself in tennis, it’s just my opinion. I guess for now we just can say they both are very hard,
Forgot the technical aspect. That’s a huge part of sports like golf, tennis, etc.
Personally I would put fencing closer to tennis because both sports require similar amounts of agility, flexibility, nerve and analitics
Yea but at a pro level serves can be up to 150 mph
Yeah but how long is a fencing game
Actually about 10 minutes...
I also love putting the Skiing endurance higher than that of auto racing. You know 24 hours of Le Mans. 24 Hours.
So much salt on here. Everyone thinks their sport is the hardest lol. I think you're all forgetting there are 10 different stats to look at. Also tennis is hard af.
I played tennis and baseball but baseball is 10x harder
@@easydubs4514 hahahahahhhh good one
@@easydubs4514 no its fucking not. Lol wtf? You run more in one set than you do in an entire baseball game. Serves are faster than pitches. Its just you, not an entire team. @@emilystreet6248 yeah it may be hard to get on base, but that doesn't mean the sport is more difficult than tennis. I think your image of tennis is skewed. Like the cardio it takes is 100x more than baseball. The ball moves incredibly fast at the professional level, serves go like 140mph... Idk, the idea that baseball is harder than tennis is so retarded I don't even want to address it.

Which sport do u think require the fastest Response Time? Hope to hear from u in the above link. Tks!!
I play ice hockey and completely agree with its spot, you have to remember that you need to learn to skate, shoot, stick handle, pass, hit, learn the positions and penalties and think logically in the moment, it’s a difficult sport
So is every team sport
It's just skating that makes it a little different
But in other sports you have to sprint.
And this is a very subjective list
PS - Everyone thinks his/her sport is tougher than others
@@Rahulgusain9811 nope, the way to calculate this is the skill gap, even if you never played football you would be way way way better than ice hockey. Look for videos on yt of people switching sports hockey is by far ahead. You learn naturally to walk/sprint my man no skills involved.
@@danmartin-l5914 no it’s subjective. Like I’m sure a 5’10” person would be better at hockey than at basketball just because of the height. While you someone who is 7 foot would say the opposite. Some of it comes down to genes.

Boxing is literally a martial art
No it’s not
😑
Martial arts are systems of self-defense. Boxing is in no way self-defense. That's why it isn't considered as martial art.
@@breyochiona9428 yeah boxing is like the opposite
@@breyochiona9428 how is boxing not considered “self defense”? Boxing is a more intensive and heavy contact form of fighting than any traditional martial art, that’s why elite boxers can easily annihilate any of these so called “Martial arts masters”. The average boxer can do more damage in a scenario where they defend themselves, mainly because of their training methods. Boxers are stronger, faster, more athletic, have better footwork, can take more damage, etc.
i don't understand why people say boxing ain't a self defense ? if it ain't a self defense then go ahead and pick a fight with some boxer...
i’m sorry but waterpolo as someone who doesn’t even play it is way harder than everything except maybe boxing and hockey

Auto raceing not that easy. Specially f1. So you’re telling me badminton is harder than archery?
I'm sorry but sprinting is no where near as hard as long distance running.
Subjective 🤷🏼♂️ I'm speedy and can run long distance but I'm not really fast so long distance running is easier for me. For others is different
Depends on the person. Im better at long distance then sprinting

I think equestrian deserves more recognition it takes 10 years to learn and even then you still have to train
Bro, swimming in my opinion should be higher up on dangerous. did you forget drowning, choking, heart attacks, and much more. Im a swimmer, and trust me, I fell of the block. My feet are swollen from doing a cross over turn. Learn to do that. Swimmers get yelled at for breathing. Does that tell you smthing?
I do 7 2-hour swimming training a week + 3 hours gym, been swimming for 10 years, how do you fall off the blocks????🤣🤣🤣
I took a Slapshot in the wrist and couldn't move my forearm without shearing pain for about 4 months. I got a skate to the calf and it hit the bone and I was unable to move my leg for over a month. I've had my sternum cracked by a Slapshot. Taken multiple pucks to the throat, clapbombs to the face. Been cartwheeled like a cartoon character. And I'm a hockey goalie, the one supposed to be protected by an the gear, so no that doesn't tell me something
My coach was a paralympic alternate, she fell off the block and she broke her leg, i think blocks are more dangerous than they seem 😂
Im going to make a case for water polo in the top 5. There is no sport ive done that has made me feel as out of shape as water polo and yet all you do is swim back and forth. You need to master a very underrated treading style in egg beater, you need so much explosive power to propel yourself out of the water. You need to be able to preform egg beater while being pressed with water splashing in your eyes and needing to find an open man. You need to be able to switch directions immediately in something 800x more dense than air. You need to be good at swimming before you even do water polo otherwise you wont like it. You need hand-eye coordination and the ability to throw a ball with mainly your back. You also have to deal with kicking, being elbowed by people swimming, scratched, and pulled underwater. You either are good at swimming and water polo or you could possibly die and this is one of the sports you genuinely could die from playing
1. Track distance(800m) is harder than the sprints. 2. Where is cross country, you run till you can't physically run anymore. Also this lost is wrong In many places. But good video
bruh boxers do that like 3 to 4 days a week
I agree I love xc but I was wondering where that was in here too
And I’m kinda disappointed because most think it’s not a sport
I do not think horse riding is that easy
Being an equestrian is way harder than it looks! We do just as much as other sports.
Horses for courses.
This is so wrong on so many levels, Horseback riding by far should have been on the top 5 at least, you are competing with an 1000 pound animal that could crush you and that has a mind of its own, you could easily die if you take a bad fall, equestrians have intense workouts, break bones in their body, after every ride their thighs burn because of how hard it is. Not to mention how it uses every lower muscle including your hips and core.
And it didn't even make the top 5 but basketball did. I do basketball and it is semi hard but not as hard as riding.
How is basketball ahead of water polo? If you enter a water polo team in a basketball tournament I GUARANTEE!!! it will do better than a basketball team in a water polo tournament!!!
With this logic the list would most likely be much more accurate… imagine a soccer team trying to ski jump 😳
That's a very interesting comparison!
no not even close. anyone can swim they may suck but a water polo team would do 10x worse. Personally i think waterpolo is harder but if u swaped the teams water polo would get destroyed. The average height is 175 cm or 5’9, while the average BASKETBALL height is 6’7 almost an entire foot taller they would not stand a single chance. My bestfriend and my brother (my best friend is in varsity for basketball but isn’t that good he’s a bench warmer) and my brother who got the most scored goals in state and won championship with his team played both sports together for fun. My friend wasn’t good at water polo by any means but my brother was absolutely dominated by my friend in basketball even though my brothers 6’0 my friend is 6’9ish. A waterpolo team would be getting made fun of by a basketball team
@@dudeman1221 That might be the average height for professional basketball players but most of the general population is nowhere near that tall.
Bro thinks rowing a boat is harder than riding a bull 💀
Why is auto racing so low do u know the amount of fitness it takes to even use the pedal in an f1 car
A lot of people don’t think that driving a car at 200 mph should be a sport, which one of the stupidest things ever. Racers lose something like 10 lbs per race, which is a 3 to 6 hour experience, sometimes longer if it’s an endurance race.

Depends on the person and the characteristics. Like Floyd mayweather would never be able to play at a high level of basketball because he is simply not tall enough. I guess Floyd could but it would be so much more challenging then if chose boxing where they have a weight classes. And vice versa like a basketball player like Lebron James would probably find soccer hard unless maybe he was the goalie because he would be so tall and soccer players are usually shorter because that means quicker feet.
