Is atmakaraka period necessarily good? I have a not so badly placed sun as AK and my sun period was crap. My parents divorced, my beloved cat got breast tumor and died, my love rejected me and I was in a such shaky mindstate that I had to cancel my studies because I could not concentrate. I've read somewhere that atmakaraka period is almost always problematic because it was supposed to purify you through suffering. If so, I'm glad it's over.

Hello, my Saturn dasha will be over in March 2018, Mercury (upcoming Mahadasha) is in sitting in my Ascendant. I am scorpion by ascendant and moon sign in Aquarius.. I always thought, I will rise during my Saturn Mahadasha but that's was not the case.. I suffered like hell during 19 years, though I earned some money but I lost all my happiness and it was not even good from carrier prospect as well.. It is always Planet with highest degree. However, In case of Rahu & Ketu, it will be opposite, hence you should look for degrees it covered in that zodiac (since its Retro) - also make sure to use Sidereal zodiac with ayanamsha while preparing birth chart. I think Kapiel forgot to mention this.

If the NBC is more accurate, should we not calculate the "ashtakavarga " for the NBC and refer to that instead of the standard table. I can't see why - 5th house is benefic - Sagittarius is benefic and Ma's - Jupiter are friends - just need to check Sun - Mars Move that house to Ascendant Position and the others accordingly - and look at the chart as your "Mars Dasha chart" - Sun would be ruler of 5th but Jupiter Ruler of Sagittarius in Ascendant Position - thus Chart Ruler in this case - That's how I understand this to be - I would generally say that a Fab Favorable Start! Kapiel I'm scared about something. In 2 years i'll be in ketu's maha dasha. In my natal chart its in the 4th house, with jupiter but in navamsa its in the 12th house... as navamsa is the house of fortune, and 12th house is the house of losses , will I lose things? Am I gonna be able to gain wealth or i'll become poor? :(

I can't see why -
5th house is benefic - Sagittarius is benefic and Ma's - Jupiter are friends - just need to check Sun - Mars
Move that house to Ascendant Position and the others accordingly - and look at the chart as your "Mars Dasha chart" - Sun would be ruler of 5th but Jupiter Ruler of Sagittarius in Ascendant Position - thus Chart Ruler in this case -
That's how I understand this to be - I would generally say that a Fab Favorable Start!

Dear Kapiel , I have Rahu in 11th in Virgo a naturally advantageous position and undergoing Rahu Mahadasha. Earlier I thought this will b the best phase of my life, but not after watching this video , as sun , venus and mercury are 6 places away from Rahu , saturn and moon are 12 places away from it ,only jupiter and Mars are 10 places away,will I have lots of loss in their sub periods , I was thinking its the best dasha in my life , kindly enlighten me !
