I just started printing out the cards and putting them in a sleeve with my mtg cards. We can modify cards on a whim, theres no stupid p2w players and spotlight cards are immediately unlocked. 1000x better play experience.

Nah they won't do that because high voltage was actually enjoyable. SD would rather lock a card behind a shitty, grindy mode hoping some people will just say F it and either spend to shorten the grind in DD or just wait and buy the card after the event. Ive heard a lot of SNAP creators complain that SD doesnt interact with any of them whatsoever anymore. And maybe you could care less about creators but in my experience that's a sign that the devs are coasting with tbe game and plan to keep it on life support until they can milk the paying players dry. I used to have some faith in SD but between playing games with devs who actualy seem to care about the state of their game and the players experience it's now obvious that SD has checked out of SNAP. They're most likely working on their next game and hope to keep SNAP around just to fund that development. Call me a doomer but ive been around long enough to recognize these patterns with games

I think SD needs to prepare a MASSIVE way to apologize for making a terrible (and unfair) game mode TWICE. I have been screwed over almost every game ive played, not even at 200k. And ive been TRYING!!!! I may only have one more season in me if they dont start listening to their fanbase and FIX THEIR GAME!!!
They won't fix anything. Imo SD will do the absolute bare minimum with the game itself and spend whatever dev time they actually do use on SNAP to further monetize the game and milk it for all it's worth. Ive been playing since launch and the game just keeps heading on a downward trajectory imo. What i feel will eventually kill this game is that the new player experience is abysmal, theres a video on it (i can't remember the creator) and he estimated that they only retain less than 3% of new players after a month (and it only goes lower from there). So once the veterans start to leave, the game will stagnate and die. It may take some time but unless SD revamps a lot of systems, the game can't survive without better ways to retain existing players and especially onboarding and keeping the new players.
Just look at the new series drop it's clear they don't give a damn about player nearly all shitty cards which no one uses are getting dropped ( except x 23 grandmaster and maybe iron lad)
King Eitri is free only in terms of money. But it costs A LOT of time. 15 million bubs is simply too much. Especially then you win number of small games and then loose everything on one big "bet".. There shouldn't be any loss of bubs which is a must to actually play.

Funny enough, in 2k CL Arishem is the only way I conpeate with all the 10K CL plazers throw at me. Sadly, everybody and their mothers seems to run Cassandra Nova in their decks now
My strategy was to make sure I have at least 2x the bus required for a table, so that I only lose half the bubs in an average game. Until I got the 600k refill upgrade I went even further, only playing tables where I had double the MAX bubs possible, but that was quite grindy.
Your experience is Eitri is my experience with pretty much every new card or new deck I try. Trying to climb Diner with a Wiccan deck and I’m retreating 4 out of every 5 matches because my draws are terrible. Very frustrating.
I don't know if I can even get the card. I'm getting eaten alive in Diner, consistently getting paired with people ten times my collection level. It's just a grind and when you loose you have to wait before you can go again. I wasn't around for the first Deadpool's Diner so having experienced High Voltage first I was expecting so much more (since HV was a lot of fun). But it's just miserable.
Game is becoming lackluster and limiting. They need to make it able to obtain all cards through credits and such. Also let all variants by available. They can make it for however much credit s and gold they want but having a deck or certain variants to work for is nice. Im tired of the If you don’t get it this week too bad so sad. And then never be able to get the card or variant you want until they decide to put it open in the shop for stupid money

If you like card games try pokemon pocket. Ngl it's gameplay isnt as deep as SNAPs (for now as the game literally just launched but im sure theyll expand on the mechanics as the game goes on) but imo its way less sweaty, overall more fun and definitely more casual than SNAP. There's no event that takes more than a few games a day to complete and most events dont rely on you winning a bunch of games but instead as long as you play a few matches each day you'll get the best rewards (winning gets you cosmetic items, not actual cards and other important items needed to build certain decks)

Made it to 300k in DD on the first day, since then (in 5 days) I made it to 340k. I quit Snap for a month after the last DD and this time I'm done for good. Embarrassing developer and people defending all this are even worse
I hit infinite with a pure Asgard deck, including Mirage, Loki, Enchantress and Sif. the 3, 4, 5 and 6 play wins without needing gimmicks like Wong or Lockjaw

He would not be better as an on reveal. Better to be able to drop him on turn 1 and utilize him on turn 3 right when you drop Thor then having to wait until turn 4 or 5 to play him with Thor/Beta Ray Bill.

Chaining this many wins is virtually impossible and being forced to sit and wait for half a day to be able to play at the top tables again is insane!
Hot take, but DD is actually not that bad. The high stakes add a lot of suspense to the matches, and if I lose a big match, I can just wait a little while and go do something else. Not as entertaining as HV, but works as a two week event.
Doesn't matter how good or bad the card is if I'm not motivated to grind for it - key word grind. Hate to bring negativity into your comment section cozy, i will always love your content, but I'm so sick of diner and this was a massive blow to my faith in this game. Screw Second Dinner for bringing back DD in basically the exact same state it was previously. They listened to exactly zero player feedback and are lying between their teeth essentially saying the playerbase loves the mode. This is a money grab that slaps every fan of the game in the face. I had trouble with diner too the first time it came. Just look up guide to the diner. It helped me and the mode became fun when I knew how to navigate
And what advice? Should I not play at maximum tables right away? Retreat after round 3 if you don't have a gold fish in your hand?

I don’t consider this a free card,time is money,i don’t mind a bit of a grind but i have to spend WAY too much time in a game mode i dislike just to get it 👎

I honestly don’t know whose working at second dinner,but when their Q and A seems to have them disregard the critique of Deadpool’s diner like their putting their hands over their ears,it seems to me second dinner wants to drive people away making stressful game modes like this one,it’s way too time consuming and stress inducing,it’s not something I want to engage in or reward my time or money in,it makes me wanna drop what I’m doing and go play something else
Screw Second Dinner for bringing back DD in basically the exact same state it was previously. They listened to exactly zero player feedback and are lying between their teeth essentially saying the playerbase loves the mode. This is a money grab that slaps every fan of the game in the face. It's actually disgusting.
I like the game mode 🤷You don't need to grind to get the card, I'm playing like 4-5 games a day.
