Thanks for the detailed instructions. Very helpful to see it step by step. I had to get a lever behind the seat switch to get it to break loose. Gentle pressure behind the switch at the top did the trick.
I installed my bolster protectors today. Took maybe 40 minutes...and I was taking my time. Trickiest part is chasing the anchor strap to the installed velcro on the rear of the seat frame. They look great, as promised. Thanks for the well done video.
Nice tutorial. I have been sitting on the EdGuard bolster covers I ordered about 6 months ago and your video is inspiring me to finally get them installed this coming weekend! 👍
It's actually easier to install these by simply removing the seat insert all together. It takes 10 seconds to pull it up. The only snag would be the clip on the passenger side for the sensor which needs removing...
Thousands of owners with these seats can’t be wrong! They are very proposal among owners of the LWB. Everytime I get in my car I cringe and am thankful it’s only the covers taking the abuse.
How do you like the buckets seats? I’ve never driven a car with them but I have sat in them. Seemed comfy but difficult to get in and out. Curious if longer distance or daily would be tough with them.
Not great for me. I hate doing long drives I added reclining brackets because the seat does not recline otherwise. Heck out my “How does it feel” video for more impressions
@@JetFuelOnly I’ll check it out! Might go 18 ways then as I want to daily this for at least a few months. Thanks for the response and love the channel!

@@cameron.mcdowell I think the 18 ways are super comfy and really nice bolstering for what they are

Thanks for the heads up. I put another link in.
Who does Porsche contract to supply these seats .?
That’s a good question, if they even contract.
The near as much $600 price tag for these is rather difficult to swallow.
Fair enough, but Is the price tag on the seat easier to swallow for you? $600 to protect two seats at $7k+ each is a good deal in my opinion
I hope you don't have one of these cars and 600 dollars is hard to swallow. For maintenance and repairs, you may want to reconsider your choices
@@malcolmn.5222 Yes, I do. I do my own maintenance and repairs.
