    Great overall review... been a user since the beginning and agree there’s nothing quite like it. It’s come a long way since the original and I’ve loved what the T2 has become!

    Your books are Great. I glanced through Isometrics and Smart Bodyweight, but I'm going to focus on GSC. I'm on Chapter 4. I know now the three things I need to focus on. I'm learning and applying a lot.

      @@mreverybody1150 I don't use it as much as I should. The handles are a bit bigger then I would like but very usable and still preferred to the rubber handles. You can also remove them for things like the squat. As for squats I did single leg squats over full squat but either are extremely intense, like I exerted myself to slight light headedness. Overall very enjoyable and unique tool.

      @@ErnestoDelacruzJunior If you cut the original rubber handles in the same way the TRX ones are done, you could put them back on if you wished. Is that how you cut them? I just tried the squat and it is very intense, a nice burn! I much prefer this T2 kit to the Iso Flo. The carabiner is nowhere near as stable or challenging.

  • @mentaliusDK

    It´s 100 $ more that the IsoFlo, seems to be the same, except for the band - which I can add to the IsoFlo quite cheap. The metal-piece doesn´t seem to do anything a carabiner can´t do.

    • @mreverybody1150
      @mreverybody1150 3 года назад

      @@mentaliusDK I think that is aimed at people that want more than what self resistance can provide. The increase in surface area of where the strap makes contact with would already create more friction too. I heard someone say that it was similar to lifting weights. But I will find out because I recently took the Iso-flo for a test run and will be testing the T2 iso trainer next. It also seems to have elements of isokinetic exercise that used to be done through big machines.

    Buddy have you heard about Marlon Birch and his self resistance course with bodybuilding protocol? I ask you because self resistance never improved my physic but since I have been using this protocol even thou as you say self resistance is a subjective system and you are right of course because self resistance obligates you to be attentive on what you are doing by increasing your self resistance or doing more reps by the end of the exercise to get the sensation of giving enough work to your muscles.

    Thanks for this review. It was a little disappointing in that I'm looking to get lean with some muscle gain. I'm limited on space. And from the looks of it, I'll need a lot of space just to do some of those exercises. I'm still considering it though because I've always liked isometrics and found that to be a great exercise regimen for definition. I'm no expert though. :)
    Thanks again for such a fair review!

      When space is limited, my go-to options are pull-up bars in door ways and open floor-exercises like push-ups. The more you use your body, and not equipment, the less space you need.

    Did you get wood dowels the slip into the rubber tube handles? So you can have handles that don't collaspe and offer more support. Mine came with them.

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  3 года назад +2

      I asked about that, as it shows those in the manual, but I didn't get any. I called them up and they said they were no longer doing it due to the fact the dowels prevented the handles from rotating. which is funny bc they don't rotate when they are collapsed either.

      I made a video on pulse reps in the last micro workout Monday.
      I like pulse reps, but as with any single training approach it has a limited range for what it can do. Nothing can do everything, so it's still good to add in some slower and full-range sets from time to time.

    Hey Matt, I have a question regarding pushups. Whenever I do a pushup my stronger shoulder(right shoulder) tends to want to internally rotate during the movement causing my right elbow to flare out. I like to think of screwing my hands outwards during the pushup to get the shoulders extrenally rotated and I notice huge strength gains when doing this. The problem is that on my right side, my shoulder won't really extrenally rotate, because of weakness I think. I was thinking about doing facepulls to strengthen the external rotators in the shoulder. Do you think this is a good exercise to improve external rotation or do you have any other recommendations? Thanks for your time

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  3 года назад

      Good observation there Rick.
      yep, you can try that, plus maybe doing push-ups on rings or straps if you have them can help to create more stability.
      Also, be sure to focus on the rotation and position of your scapula. Often times, it's the scapular motion and position that's the foundation for how we apply force through our arms.

    Looks useless to me, why not just put a normal carabineer there, the strap (or rope) would probably slip the same way around the carabineer as this little chunk of steel, I already use this sort of setup for a DIY neck exerciser similar to the iron neck (the alien helmet looking thingy)

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  3 года назад

      The Iso-flow uses a carabiner and that does work well enough, but it's not quite as much surface area as the full buckle so it does feel different due to the lack of friction.

    • @T2FPtraining
      @T2FPtraining 3 года назад

      We would add to Matt's comment that not only is it more surface area, but the hidden interior surface features contours specific to our utility patent that simply can't be duplicated by a simple carabiner or plain round surface. This generates additional friction which can not only be felt but heard.
