You guys need to watch R9vsR10. It’s Basically him vs Ronaldinho going head to head for Barca and Madrid back in the day. Both of them from Brazil to. They were like brothers going head to head Great video..👍🏾
Only reason Ronaldo Assis Moreira was called Ronaldinho (Little Ronaldo, or Ronnie) was because Ronaldo came first. In fact, in Brazil, R9 was called Ronaldinho (because he started in the brazilian league, amazing everyone, at only 16). So the nickname stuck. Then came Ronaldinho R10... since there was already another Ronaldinho, in Brazil we called Ronaldinho as Ronaldinho Gaucho (because he was the Ronaldo from Rio Grande do Sul State, whose inhabitants are called Gauchos). Pretty common in Brazil to have two players with same name or nickname, then using the state of birth to differentiate them Juninho Paulista (Osvaldo Giroldo Júnior) - São Paulo Juninho Pernambucano (Antônio Augusto Ribeiro Reis Júnior) - Pernambuco State Juninho being like a diminutive of Junior Marcelinho Carioca (Marcelo Pereira Surcin), Rio de Janeiro state Marcelinho Paraiba (Marcelo dos Santos), Paraíba State etc
Ronaldo had to be injured. He had a weighty body, he loved to eat good. All that tension in his knees. And then the played versus best and strongest 90s defenders in Italy. They all knew he was fast and strong so they hit him where he was the weakest.
Ronaldo is the reason I love football. He was fast, strong, amazing technique, brilliant first touch, two strong feet, out of this world dribbling skills, tricks, but he was so good he used his confidence not to be arrogant but to be cheeky. He is the player that has the most goals by rounding the keepers which is the most ""not give a fuck"" you can have in football.
You were right on point saying that his dribbling was lethal, he might not have had the showmanship like Ronaldinho or Neymar but he was the most effective with it and that's why he'll always be my favorite player.
I commented before that Ronaldinho is the most entertaining player I've ever seen.. Zidane is also one of my favorite...CR7 and Messi both are outstanding players but when it comes to the GOAT then Ronaldo R9 the phenomenal is the one for me personally
Ronaldo Nazario was, arguably the most raw talented footballer EVER. He dribbles were as good as Messi's and he had the strength and speed of Cristiano. He suffered TWO carrer ending knee injuries and he suffers from hypertyroidism, which made him gain weight very fast and hard to lose it. To this day, accounting even for all the great players around rn, i still think i never saw more talent on a player as i did on him. Late 90s Ronalo,.... that was not a man, idk what that was, but it was not human, god DAYUM.

I tend to classify dribbles into two categories , how efficient and needed it is and how artistic it is. For the first Category it is Messi, Ronaldo Fenomeno and then Ronaldinho. For the artistic part of Ronaldinho, Ronaldo Fenomeno, Di Nilson, Neymar , JJ Augustin Okocha , Robinho
Great reaction guys! Yeah he was a beast and for you Hoops lovers :) Have MJ in your mind when think of Ronaldo. They have same exceptional physique mixed with exceptional talent. And both went straight to the goal, no matter who (or how many) was between them and the goal. The most crazy thing about ronaldo was that he was able to do the dribbling, change of direction and close control in top speed.
Before his first knee ligament rupture he was on his track to become the greatest ever and was doing Messi and CR7 things while a teenager. He had the speed of Mbappe, the strenght of Haaland and the dribbling of Ronaldinho. Then he had a second knee ligament rupture and was given multiple prognostics that his career was over and would be lucky to walk normally again. He spent nearly 2 years rehabilitating trough incredibly painful and demanding daily sessions in time to win the world cup, become it's best scorer and win the Ballon D'Or again while kneeless and overweight due to thyroid issues. R9 was the first player who made me believe in magic in football. Growing up I'd look forward to watching him and I'd be glued to the TV because I knew I was guaranteed to get that feeling of "I'm watching something special". I can only imagine it's how people felt watching Michael Jordan in the 90s
he is the most complete striker in the history of football. Speed, acceleration, ball control, dribling, shooting, heading and strong build not to fall from any contact to force a foul.
Guys before his knee injury he was the greatest striker I’ve EVER seen. He was out of shape after his multiple knee injuries and partied like most Brazilians. It’s scary to say but he’s underrated.
He is not underrated at all. People know him very well, especially those who watched soccer/football during the 90s and 2000s. Many former and current players still mention him as one of the greatest in the interviews.
Underrated, my ass! Every person that I knew when he used to play viewed him as the greatest striker they have ever seen in their lives. I grew up in the 90s and I still think to this day that Ronaldo Nazario is still the greatest striker of all time. It’s a shame how those knee injuries hindered his full potential.
The smoothest operator ever. imagine Cr9's power, Messi's dribble, Henry's pace in one person. As great as Messi's is he has favourite side which is right flank where he start and cutting inside to central are. Cr9 and Henry fav is left flank where they start before cutting inside. R9 really could go from anywhere straight toward goal, and he need no extra space, he created them himself.
Probably the best ever number 9 ever he was like a mix of Weah,Ronaldinho and Alan Shearer in one,was blessed to be a 80s baby and to witness greatness on many occasions,Denilson was the original step over king tho.........Bless
This guy is the best of all time as a player maradona and messi and many more have said he is the best they have ever seen Zinadine said he was the best ever
Almost Everybody says "if not for the knee injury, he would have been the undisputed GOAT," that is a good way of putting it. But I like to view players at their best moments, if you do that, then there is no match for this guy, his peak was higher than everyone else in the world, by a decent margin, he may not have won the most trophies, but there's still a player to come close to him, only the likes of Maradona, Pelé, and maybe Zidane and Garrincha could touch the guy. For those who didn't watch him at his peak and wanna know what was like, take a top 10 plays of Messi or CR7, that was R9 *every game.*
He's a striker, and his peak would be measured in terms of goals, dribbles and awards. Individual award. Saying that Messi's and Ronaldo's top 10 is his peak is cap. He's the greatest striker no cap. But messi and Ronaldo are clear. Specially Messi. Messi's clear of this dude.
He actually played for barcelona before Madrid most the goals in this vid are from his barca time, he was there for 1 season and it was arguably his greatest 96/97 also you need to react to his comeback story crazy
Ronaldo and Ronaldinho were two of the eleven that came out of that Amazing world phenomenon team that won the World Cup 5 times in succession BRAZIL !
I don’t wanna say he was like d rose cuz R9 did actually achieve a lot more than rose did in their respective sports. But we saw how good he was but could on,y imagine how good he would’ve been had he had a healthy career. The Godfather of modern day football
What makes him one of the greatest ever that is he still managed to comback to win a World cup being top scorer & getting a transfer to Real Madrid. Though hé was not at his absolute best such as at Barcelona,Inter or Psv.Still managed to cement his place as greatest of all time.
i would have no argument if someone says he is the goat, Ronaldinho(Little Ronaldo) took his nickname from this real Ronaldo, goal getter world cupper, all round striker
He struggled with a nasty knee injury that almost ended his career, and also w/ the scale(suffered w/ hyperthyroidism).... Despite of that, he is most likely the best #9 the world has ever seen...
Had it not been for his time in Italy and the horrific injuries that resulted in opponents trying to kick him out of games he would have had a better career non the less he is still the goat 🐐 Ronaldo R9
Romario from Brazil, Paulo Maldini from Italy and Johan Cryuff from The Netherlands (the architect of Barcelona’s tiki taka system which started with AJAX) and Carles Puyol from Barcelona…..what great players these guys were!!!
Messi is the best dribbler in football history by far but as you said he’s lethal. When R9 runs at you, you should know you’re already dead. He’s a 6’0 tank with insane ball control and agility while being one of the fastest players ever.
Same could be said about Marco Van Basten, my favourite player of all time, by the age of 28 retired due to a serious injury a 3 time ballon d'or winner. One of the greatest.
This the greatest player that ever touched the ball He used to dribble the toughest defeners in history like piece of cake Too bad he was injured half of his career

That is why R9 was called the Phenomeno..he was one of the greatest no 9 in football history..R9 was truly a monster..a beast terrorizing defenders giving nightmares..he got badly injured during his time at Inter Milan..didnt play football for 2 years..was sold to Real Madrid and every body said that he wont make it..he was too fat to play..but guess what..he came back and won the World Cup..he even won the Ballon d Or if im not mistaken..for me R9 will always be the greatest No 9 😊
Best pure forward ever IMHO. It's time to do a Diego Maradona reaction video - the greatest player in history of the sport.
He was the best player to ever play the game
R9 was the first player who made me believe in magic in football. Growing up I'd look forward to watching him and I'd be glued to the TV because I knew I was guaranteed to get that feeling of "I'm watching something special". I can only imagine it's how people felt watching Michael Jordan in the 90s
The REAL Ronaldo!! One of the best ever
Loving your work guys....keep it up
One of the fastest dribblers I've ever seen guys, FULL sprint no adjustments straight to the tape.
he is the most complete striker in the history of football.
R9 is like Mike Tyson in his prime, he had the best peak, he was unstoppable and he was a nightmare for anyone playing against him.
There is only one Ronaldo. He's simply untouchable. He and Ronaldinho were just ridiculous.
Love your Videos guys ❤️
Thanks appreciate that family
RONALDO THE PHENOMENON...and the rest...
This guy is the best of all time as a player maradona and messi and many more have said he is the best they have ever seen Zinadine said he was the best ever
Best player and most feared player I’ve ever watched
We're lucky to have videos and photos of this phoenomenon.
Without this technologic systems, we're lost all things of this monster 🔥🔥🔥🔥🇧🇷
He’s just very very very fast. Quick and explosive.
When you say me Ronaldo, this man always comes up in my mind. All respect to Cristiano but that's my opinion.
he had it all, strenght, speed, power left and right the greatest striker i've ever seen and probally will see in my lifetime
This man got injured for 1 years and still was the best
He is called phenomenon for a reason.
The greatest striker ever
All gk and defenders end on the ground with him... power, speed, intelligence, killer instinct.. hard to stop
The best of all time
In the first clip he was playing for Barcelona
The best Ronaldo!
Cap
He's a striker, and his peak would be measured in terms of goals, dribbles and awards. Individual award.
Saying that Messi's and Ronaldo's top 10 is his peak is cap.
He's the greatest striker no cap.
But messi and Ronaldo are clear. Specially Messi. Messi's clear of this dude.
@@ifebuchefranklin7787 he had more than twice the goals of cristiano ronaldo at the age of 23...
@@furypt5184 and at 26?
No lie detected
He actually played for barcelona before Madrid most the goals in this vid are from his barca time, he was there for 1 season and it was arguably his greatest 96/97 also you need to react to his comeback story crazy
Ronaldo and Ronaldinho were two of the eleven that came out of that Amazing world phenomenon team that won the World Cup 5 times in succession BRAZIL !
Best striker who ever played the game.
Melhores de sempre Ronaldo fenómeno ❤❤❤
This is the GOAT !
I don’t wanna say he was like d rose cuz R9 did actually achieve a lot more than rose did in their respective sports. But we saw how good he was but could on,y imagine how good he would’ve been had he had a healthy career. The Godfather of modern day football
Tamos juntos irmão sempre deus abençoe vocês e sua família sempre
Vinicius Jr is a crazy good dribbler who plays for Real Madrid
yeah the best right now
Two damn handsome brothers 😍 ❤ 💙
Appreciate the comment
What makes him one of the greatest ever that is he still managed to comback to win a World cup being top scorer & getting a transfer to Real Madrid. Though hé was not at his absolute best such as at Barcelona,Inter or Psv.Still managed to cement his place as greatest of all time.
Esse é o diferencial do nosso jogadores brasileiros são diferenciados para nos futebol e arte!
i would have no argument if someone says he is the goat, Ronaldinho(Little Ronaldo) took his nickname from this real Ronaldo, goal getter world cupper, all round striker
Appreciate the comment
Best 9 best player of the history 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Isso foi o máximo de talento puro que a terra em toda sua história ja pode criar no mundo
Messi is the best dribbler in football history by far but as you said he’s lethal. When R9 runs at you, you should know you’re already dead. He’s a 6’0 tank with insane ball control and agility while being one of the fastest players ever.
Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo, Raul, Carlos, Beckham Real Madrid 1st Galacticos era under Vicente del Bosque was the best ever in my opinion.
Same could be said about Marco Van Basten, my favourite player of all time, by the age of 28 retired due to a serious injury a 3 time ballon d'or winner. One of the greatest.
Still my all time favourite player
My favourite player of his generation. I love R9.
This the greatest player that ever touched the ball
He used to dribble the toughest defeners in history like piece of cake
Too bad he was injured half of his career
Ronaldo il fenomeno - The best football player I ever seen
The only RONALDO💪🏽
