Hey man, just bought a 2014 KX250F last night. Changed the oil today on it because the guy I bought it off of said it probably needed an oil change. after watching your video... realized mine doesn't have a spring on the oil filter gasket. I went ahead and ordered one off partzilla, was just wondering if that's a "big" deal to not have one. thanks for a great video!
Nice job bro, about to do the same on mine for spring time. Have new graphics on the way so gonna do a vid on those and will prob do the oil and air filter before I ride again. Love my 2020 hope you're enjoying yours!!
Hey I got a 2015 Kawasaki kx 250. Would you mind giving me a link of where you bought your oil? Also, do I need to change the transmission fluid everytime I change the engine ?
Idk for his model but i have a 2011 and if you aren’t racing or riding it super hard then every 15 hours becasue thats what the manual says but it sorta depends
what year kx250f u got i’ve been saving to get a bike for about 5 years and i just recently had the money to buy a clean 2014 kx250f an hour away from me
@@paragonsurfs9010 is that all u gotta do for maintenance I won’t be racing and I read that u have to change the piston and rings every 15 hours or is that only for racing
The ol zip tie job on the rear fender
Better than buying a new one lol

Thanks man! Go rip it up!
Same but I bought it 2 days ago
Good video man🤙🏼

I've got the same bike, How many hours have you got out of the top end?

I just use OEM Kawasaki oil, and there is no transmission oil to change. The “engine oil” provides lubrication for everything.
If I ride mine 2-5 times a month, just through the trails and in a field, no racing, nothing hard, how often should I change my oil
every 10 hours

It’s a 2016, I would recommend any 250 above 2013
@@NastyMoto yeah same 2014 was the lowest i was going
What grease do you use on air filter?
What engine oil would you recommend?
Just any all purpose grease for the air filter, and Kawasaki full synthetic for oil
i have the same powerwasher nice
🤣🤣
Why don’t u pull the clutch when u start it?
Because he’s in neutral
You don't have to when you start it in neutral which most people do. Just crack the throttle and kick her good
Thats clean good work keep it up
Thanks man! Will do!
Awesome bike bro what year it kinda looks like my cousins 450
2016, she’s a ripper!
Nasty Moto sick bro
How often do u have to do this?
Clean should be after every ride oil and air filter 10-15. Shorter if your racing

@@Smelvin78 15 hours is crazy my 2018 has 78 hours on it never once have I ever redone the top end and it is still perfectly fine like new
@@paragonsurfs9010 sweet so I’ll only really have to do the oil and air filters and oil
How much do you torque the oil bolt to?
Just hand tight!
What year bike is it?
2016
Where is gear oil drain
Gear and engine oil is the same
