Hey Noody, how do we fight thieves, using the thief class?
I mostly run the Sword/Dagger build, and those perma stealth builds stomps me (Im back to the game after 1 year or more of a pause)
Unfortunately playing S/D into a stealth thief is always going to be difficult but to put it as short as I can you need to evade chain with good timing so when they reveal to burst you can counter burst in a very short window with gap closers such as steal or sw2
Nowadays when you fight a shadow arts thief, as s/d core then ehhh, you're pretty much done for, unless they are really bad xD
Yeah it's one of the hardest fights for S/D. It takes knowing stealthy thief habits, like Noody knowing taking the hit from a bound was worth getting em out of stealth, and guessing/timing well just to have a chance.
Mostly if they are decent I just accept the L and go find another guardian (any flavor) I can slaughter to feel better.

Love the vids noody but big talk for someone playing rifle deadeye. I can say id much rather vs a condi pistol theif than a deadeye rifle. Most toxic build in the game imo
Each to their own I suppose, I find deadeyes pretty telegraphed and easy to predict. Not saying deadeye isn’t overtuned but I think being “good” at deadeye takes more than condi bound
I agree. I play the CS/Trick/DD Sword Dagger / Shortbow, and I just can't get the rhythms down for DE (or Spectre for that matter).
I actually have some respect for a good DE, mostly because a good DE is so rare.
Hey Noody...have you had issues with hackers using Auto-dodge cheats and such in WvW? i've seen an uptick in this practice and it's very annoying to say the least.

Maybe I'm the odd one out, but I'd fight a Pistol/Pistol condi Thief over Rifle Deadeye any day.
I don't think it's nice to talk about people and their playstyles that way. It's up to him what he wants to play. Not everybody is as skilled at GW PvP as you are. I don't like PvP at all, so I stick to the PvE side. It's especially not nice to make fun of his IQ. Shame, I thought better of you.
Lemme see if I can put this in PvE terms for you.
Guy is playing the WvW version of a raid Mechanist.
Guy playing is also rank 10,000 in WvW.. I don’t think WvW or PvP is a new thing to him either. But regardless, video is harmless entertainment so just take it with a grain of salt 😊
@@Noody Yeah and to be fair, he may well have not earned that rank playing thief. 😎 I'm not 10k yet -- but in Diamond, and depending what they catch me on (pretty much anything that isn't thief) people would be decidedly unimpressed with my gameplay.
