_1: Find ahead from an old cassette and follow the instructions in the video: 1:32
_2: Solder the output of the Bluetooth circuit directly to the magnetic head. Remove the ic preamplifier out of the circuit, then look up the ic pin connector on the input signal and output signal pins: 15:45
_3: Connect the signal wire directly to the circuit board at the output ic pins: 25:23

У меня точно такой же магнитофон, не работало радио, подпаялся к микросхеме радио и вывел аукс наружу, вышло очень даже эстетично и остались работать режим CD и касеты! модуль вывел в крышку касеты, он там как и был, даже вставлять касету не мешает!

I have the same radio estereo. One day, a electronic technician tried to put the same Bluetooth... There was a problem with audio quality and he took it off. So After watching this video, I think I'm going to install by myself! 😂

Just put 3 way switch for BT function as an additional locate the input of the tone control then then cut for BT and from radio and cassette then connect....this method is just upgrading the old radio cassettes player
la forma mas facil es soldar directamente los cables de audio sin los cristales y remover definitivamente la casetera y juntar los circuitos de encendido y de audio mediante un interruptor para ya no usar el teclado y que todo el sistema funcione mejor y con mas espacio gracias

Couldn't you just tap the line output from the preamp chip? Then you can play tapes as well as bluetooth. not at the same time I don't think.
If you put an audio out jack on that same line you could maybe dub your tapes to PC. I have an old CB radio that I modded like this and you could record what was on the CB as well as play audio through it.
These old sony boom boxes are no longer produced and to be treasured in my opinion... We could just used the LINE-IN (if available) and connect the other unit that provides BT, USb etc... I saw so many videos where people are modifying...sometimes very rare and great-looking vintage systems with these cheap BT boards.... just my thought...

Hola, yo hice la instalación de ese modulo anulando la radio y conecte los cables de sonido del modulo a los cables de salida de la radio hacia el ampli......además de conectar el cable de la antena del modulo al de la radio, por lo que vuelvo a tener radio y todo lo demás que ofrece el modulo, lo alimento con un cargador de móvil conectado al cable de alimentación del radiocasette... de momento va de lujo.....espero no me de problemas pues no tengo mucha idea de electrónica ....

So how was it all put together in the end? The only problem with this mod is you can no longer play cassettes. It's great to add Bluetooth to an old boombox but not so great to take away some of its original functionality like not being able to use a cassette deck anymore.
You can always just solder the power cables of blt mod to the ones of the motor, without removing it from it. If you have a Cassette player with two slots, even better.

some friendly advice about your videoing 1. your videos are too long they should be less then 10 minutes
2. get rid of the over head camera we only need to see you soldering once. 3. try to explain what your going to do using before and after photos even diagrams 4. showing web sites is good what you are buying and what you are paying 5. I think your connecting into the speakers into the cassette player start button and I guess into the power somewhere but its hard to follow
6. drawing arrows and circles on your images is also good if you can. 7 Try slow and reflective music sometimes.
Updating old machines is fun to watch and makes me feel good, even if I don't ever want to do it.
You should be getting more subscribers then you are maybe this advice will help 👌

I think the signal level what the head produces and the one what the BT unit is not the same. If signal of BT is much higher than the head signal then you can have distortion as the preamp imput signal is adjusted to receive lower signal from head. If you noticed he bridged the preamp in/out completely when he soldered directly the BT output to the head wires (option 2) by this feeding directly the BT out to the power amp ic excluding preamp. What i see issue in these builds is the background noise, the whining you hear as soon as the BT unit is started. That's because of the ground loop. He used power to BT unit from the motor of the tape. He should use an isolated dc to dc converter or a separate psu for the BT module.

Can we connect the input of 12V DC to a 5v Bluetooth decoder device. The specifications say its 5V/12V. I don't understand this. Please explain.
Porque ele nao ligou as saidas do modulo diretamente nos fios da cabeca do tape ? Assim nao precisaria desmontar e montar tantas vezes ! Depois era so pegar os 12 volts dos fios do motor! A nao ser que ele queria mostrar passo a passo a montagem!

Which music player did you used in this video in your mobile?
I tried 2nd and 3rd method on my Philips player, removing AN7323 pre-amplifier, but in both cases i get an abnormal noise which disappears only if i disconnect the output connector from the board. How can i solve this problem ?
I found that the problem is related with the 12V source i use to power the board : if i use an external power supply all is good while when i try to use the tape motor source, as in the video, than the noise is present. I'd definitely prefer the latter solution but without noise... any suggestion ?

Dear Clark, the bluetooth module's audio outputs are already preamplified, that's the reason the preamplifier IC was deleted while the inputs and outputs were jumpered (bypassed) to have a continued audio signal path into te rest of the circuitry. Kind regards from Mexico amigo!!!

Sir I performed it at home with regulator ic 7805 and bluetooth kit, but when i conected audio input to the tap recorder amplifier it was to much noise in speaker. I conected audio input with head wires. This problem was out my knowledge why is this so. Sir kindly guide me what is problem..
