The wonderous cross. I love to see crosses here there and everywhere when I'm out. That's what He did for us. It just doesn't get any better than that. Thanks for the words to sing along.
Dear Kaleb, Just wanted you to know how much our women’s bible study group appreciates your playing. We start each lesson with a hymn. We don’t always have a pianist on hand and your lovely piano accompaniments are sometimes used to help us sing and worship. Thank you! Deborah (El Montecito Presbyterian Church, Santa Barbara)
When I survey the wondrous cross On which the Prince of glory died, My richest gain I count but loss, And pour contempt on all my pride. Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast, Save in the death of Christ my God! All the vain things that charm me most, I sacrifice them to His blood. See from His head, His hands, His feet, Sorrow and love flow mingled down! Did e’er such love and sorrow meet, Or thorns compose so rich a crown? Were the whole realm of nature mine, That were a present far too small; Love so amazing, so divine, Demands my soul, my life, my all.
Not only is the hymn meaningfully, peacefully and beautifully played but I must also say I really enjoy watching the way you play the piano...like a river effortlessly flowing in its course...amazingly calming. I’ll try using your music to record songs and post them on Weibo and let more people hear your wonderful pieces. God bless!
(Missing) Hymn Verse #2: Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast, Save in the Cross of Christ, my God; All the vain things that charm me most I sacrifice them to His blood
Beautiful! One of my favorite hymns. Do you have a copy of the music sheet? My daughter plays ocarina and needed a piano accompaniment for this song. Would you be able to share it with me? Please? Thank you so much.
