Find an appliance repair guy who is older and runs his own business. Our fridge quit working New Years Eve day at 1pm. Most people were on vacation or couldn’t come until Monday, three days later. One guy called back and said he could swing by in a few hours. When I asked for a recommendation online, people said I should buy a new one. Easy for them to say, a new fridge is at least $1200. The repair guy did it for $235 (part & service call) and I gave him a tip. He had the same fridges it was a simple fix - the fan blade in the freezer broke. I have referred him to my friends who have used him too.

This is true. My husband has a side hustle (I call it that bc he is not a ‘business’), he has a FT career and likes to stay busy with his side jobs. He charges less, offers perks at no extra cost, ie ..delivery or on site repairs. So finding someone works on their own is a treasure bc he/she will know others in different areas of expertise.

My cousin does appliance repair in Illinois. He always says the best thing you can do to keep your appliances working is to do the maintenance. For refrigerators that means cleaning the coils and underneath. Depending on what problem you’re having, you may be able to RUclips search a fix for it.

Right! Lol fridges aren't cheap there spendy. Id rather have it repaired for $200-300 than spend 1-2 grand on a new one. Love this comment! Thank you so much for sharing all this with me
I've honestly been stumped on this fridge, thinking to myself "why...how...what am I gonna do" 😆 I'll contact some older appliance repair guys and see what they can do. I'm crossing my fingers it's an easy fix. Thank you for commenting, watching and being here with me Amanda, I appreciate ya so much. 🥰

I swear most of what is in my house my mom bought me. Or my MIL gave us. Furniture. Appliances. Pots and pans, vaccums. 😂 Usually because i have gone so long making thinsg work that my mom is like well i am getting you this for Christmas or your birthday. Which i love because she knows me well and gets me things that are actually useful/ functional and fit my life. Also all of my kitchen towels are from my mom as gifts. 😂 And oven mits/ pot holders. 😉 Praise the Lord for moms. ❤

Danni, you crack me up! You lift my spirits every time I see your videos! I had that same food processor and I used it a lot. I must have gotten rid of it. I have done a kitchen declutter awhile ago. It’s so much nicer to open a cabinet door and find what you need and put it back where it belongs. Always nice to read your comments too! I can’t wait to see your next video. I look forward to them. I hate cleaning the oven! I need to do mine. I have an oven that cleans itself but you have to do it in the summer and open the windows because it gets very hot and sometimes smokey. So I will try it later. Hugs!👍🥰💜

There's some things over at my parents house, when I was helping my mom declutter, there were some things that she didn't want that I could use and one of those things was that food processor. I was so excited to use that, but I honestly think it was sitting in her cabinets too long, I tried everything to get it to work. But oh well, I'll just look for another one as I need one. But good to know that's a good one. I'm with you I hate cleaning the oven, it's probably one of my least favorite things to do next to laundry 😆 I always feel so much better every time I declutter, it will be a never-ending process, things will always come in and out of the house and I'll always find randomness 🤣 it's everything if I can make you laugh or put a smile on your face. Appreciate you so much Sharon. Hugs back 🥰

Hi Danni! Great job organizing your kitchen. I, too, have a brown kitchen (1940's) but the size of my kitchen is about the size of your bathroom - not kidding! You're so fortunate to have all that kitchen cabinet space. If it's going to be a while until you can update it, have you considered painting the cabinets? I'm a renter, so I'm stuck, but you as a homeowner can do whatever you want. I'm envious!! 😊

I went to make dinner the other day and noticed the handle of the cabinet was loose so I went to the laundry room to get a screw driver when I realized I needed to vacuum the dryer vent. Then I realized I left my laundry in the dryer so I took it out to put it away and as I way putting my towels away I realized I needed to clean my bathroom which led to me refilling my qtip and cotton pad jars which made me realize I needed to refill my spices. Long story short I ended up having a Poptart for dinner.

We are doing some remodeling projects in our house right now. They are not much fun somedays. I think you should box the window in the looks into the other room by the tall pantry cabinet. Remove the angled cabinet and the small one next to it. Put your fridge in that spot. Cut the counter to fit against the fridge. Then you don't have the awkwardness with your fridge being in the corner. Buy a couple of pantry cabinets from Lowes or Home depot that are their stock cabinets. You could sand your cabinets and paint them a lighter color until you are able to do a complete gut job of the room. Maybe if you just lighten the upper cabinets for now and the lowers later. Have a great day and happy decluttering!

I love your videos, and this one was great, even though everything kept breaking down on you. My first thought was to call a medium as it's clearly someone trying to tell you something 😂 In Norway we used to have these tv shows about houses that were haunted and mediums that sent them to what they call "the other side".
I just moved from a haunted house last April and I had to replace lamps, tv, computers and a ton of lightbulbs. The worst case was one night I was chatting with a friend on facetime and suddenly my lamp was starting to dim up and down and then it went dark, I had to replace 3 light bulbs in 10 minutes. We joked about calling one of the scariest mediums from the tv show and then suddenly I heard a loud noise. My friend heard it to and got a little scared but I went around to figure out what it was.
My cat was sleeping in the same room I sat, so it couldn't be him. I finally figured it out when I got in to my craft room, a wall shellf was laying on the floor, and under the wall shelf on a Kallax shelf I had a little drawer that all of the drawers was drawn out, but all of them was at exactly the same row like someone OCD had pulled them out. On the floor all my binders was standing just as they did on the shelf, but ithey were turned the opposite way and it was like 2 meters frow the wall. Nothing broke besides a little brush tool, I still can not explain this, and this made me so scared that I slept at my friends house that night. It was not the first time something happened in this house, and usually I just told them to be quit and they usually listened.
The whole "haunting" started the very night the farm was put up for sale, or it was some before that, but that was when it was starting to get really bad. I'm not scared of spirits, and I was sure it was the father of my landlord, and he was haunting the other house on the farm to where the great granddaughter of the "gost" lived. She told me about coming home and all of the tv decoders and such was plugged out from the outlet.
The same thing happened with a lamp in my window. I got home one night and there was no light in my window, and I thought it was the light bulb again, but it was working except it was unplugged, and I swear it wasn't me. I live by myself, just me and my cat, and he couldn't have wrapped the cord up on the tv cabinet.
I now live in a house also on a farm, and I know that the man who used to live here actually died in the bathroom. My cat refused to go into the bathroom the first 5 months, but then after I "asked" him to borrow some tools from the barn my cat now love to sleep in the bathroom. I don't know if it was that his widdow was wisiting to help with something that made him go away, but I have not noticed my cat reacting to anything after that.
I don't know whether you belive in spirits or ghosts or anything, but I just can't explain these events in other ways. I had an electritian to check all the electrisity in that haunted house, you should probably do that first as something might be wrong when several things happens, if he can't find anything you might need to get some medium to clear the home. 😂
I loved how your kitchen turned out. 😊 And thank you SO much for not putting on music, I hate videos with music

I empathize with you when you said you usually are all over the place. Decluttering this spot….but wait this spot needs cleaning…..no the laundry needs changing….I need to go through the kids clothes right this second…..ADHD is hard😳🫣 I love watching you!! Thank you for all that you do!!❤

100%...I relate to this so much!!! And when we do think of something else we need to get to and get done, it's exactly like you stated, it needs to get done that second. Lol I'm doing 12 different things "this second 😂" I've never been diagnosed, buuuut I've been told a lot, that I have ADHD attributes...is attributes the word I'm looking for? Ive been considering for a long while now talking to my Dr about it??? You are So dang sweet Kirsten! I'm so happy you're here with me. Lots of luv 🥰😘

@@danniraearranged Yes attributes is the correct word you're onto it! *high five* ! My doctor insisted for 5 years that I had it before the penny dropped and I realized I was stuck in a hamster wheel that I'd manage to trap myself into due to my brain and circumstances (ie creating multiple day plans for the same day and not getting anything done because I couldnt prioritize and multiple budgets for the same pay cycle and still feeling no clarity about what where when how what first etc!)
There are recommendations that can help that are more natural if you want to try that before going the pharmaceutical route! If there are any Ayurvedic specialists in your locale they can be helpful as they've been working with neurological stuff for thousands of years longer than the Western Medical industry but if you want to start simple there are certain vitamins and supplements that are specifically recommended for those of us with ADD\ADHD (B Vitamins \ Omega 3's \ Zinc \ Vit D \ Iron \ Magnesium \ Inositol \ Gingko Biloba [but be careful taking Gingko with any pain meds and make sure there's no contraindication) as well as certain herbs and foods that can also help regulate our systems so we don't get too frazzled and help disperse energy more evenly. 💝💓💖😍😘

For spices in the drawer, we have the little dot labels that are pink, green, yellow and blue on the tops of the jars so we can see what the spices are without picking each one up. I also tried to color code them and used green for parsley, basil, etc., Red for paprika, Cajun seasoning, etc., And yellow for garlic powder, mustard, etc. This works really great for us.

I had to watch a bit before I subscribed (I'm new)
But I'm really happy to subscribe to your channel. You're so comical and down to earth. I cleaned the bottom of my fridge with a special brush for that and it worked better. That little front panel comes off and you can "roll" that brush through the coils to clean them. The clincher for ME though was when you went through your jar collection. I need to do that because I'm a newly found out jar hoarder. I can't stand throwing away a perfectly beautiful strong jar especially ones with ornate designs. I soak them and use goo gone if it's too sticky. I have used scraper blades too.
You're fun and easy to listen to. Love and probably prefer the voice overs.

You have to just spray the oven cleaner in the oven then leave it over night closed. When you get back to it the next day, it will come clean super easy! :) Also don't forget to pull the oven out and clean underneath it- there are always some fun surprises when I do that hahaha!
