- In this video we introduce our New Muslim Crash Course in which we will be giving advice to individuals who have accepted islam, from the perspective of someone who has accepted Islam in the context of being a new Muslim in the United States.
Most content for New Muslims is created by individuals who did not live our experience. Often times the material, or groups producing the material for New Muslims are doing so for the purpose of recruiting us to their specific group or ideology.
The idea behind this course is not to call you to any specific group, but to give you the tools to navigate the community and to understand the fundamentals of Islam so that you may chart your own path.
in the New Muslim Crash Course, we will cover the following topics in depth.
1. The basics of your faith in Islam
2. The Muslim character
3. Navigating the Muslim Community
4. Personal Issues for New Muslims
5. How to study Islam
6. How to call others to Islam
For years the needs of the converts in the United States have been neglected at best and completely ignored at worst. We can no longer sit back and complain about this problem. It is essential that we address it ourselves. We know our situation better than anyone else, and we are in the best position to do something about it.

Assalamualaykum, my wife is a revert to Islam, Alhamdulillah. So I had the opportunity to give dawah to my brother-in-law and my mother-in-law. Alhamdulillah, later they embraced Islam. However, I've always struggled to find structured guidelines or courses to share with them so they can gradually learn more about Islam and grow spiritually. Jajakallahu Khairan for doing this. Please have all the episodes in a playlist, In Sha Allah. Barakallafiqum.
The whole series will be in a playlist. Nearly everything is planned out at this point with many videos already scripted, but it will take time to record, edit, and publish.
I came here after watching a video you put out on your private channel. My brother and I am deeply saddened by the events that led to you being ostracized. They are not what islam is about. Islam is standing for the truth even if it may hurt you or benefit you. I pray Allah gives you sustenance and prosperity 100x than what you had lost. My brother and I are praying for you and your mission. May Allah make things easier upon you going forward.
Thank you, we have a lot of content that will be coming out shortly. Please share it with those you feel will benefit.
That was awesome! Looking forward to the video series, InshaAllah!
JazakAllahukhayr, happy to have you with us.
That's true !
thanks for watching
Salam Brother. As a Muslim who reverted around the time of 9/11 while being in the military, I can relate to much of what you have discussed. Haven't been really engaged with the community because of my experiences. I am looking forward to your work. Hope you and your family are well.
wa alaykum assalam, happy to have you with us. JazakAllahukhayr. A lot more is on its way. I'll be recording today.
May ALLAH bless you and your family.
Ameen, you and yours as well.
This is going to be amazing
thanks for watching. More to come.
As a Muslim revert myself who reverted while in the military, i can completely relate to everything you said. It has been extremely difficult. I also appreciate the fact that you don't command people to listen to you, you let them think for themselves.
Glad to have you with us brother. Hope you stick around as I'll be producing a lot of new content with multiple videos being published each week. Don't forget to subscribe.
@JannahVersity Friend of mine recommended me to you, his name is Benjamin Saoud. He say you studied with him back in Madinah.
@@justinwamsley176 Binyameen?? I used to call him the Eddie Murphy of Islam. He would laugh just like him. If it's the same brother I have a lot of good memories and stories about him.
@@JannahVersityI'm 100% sure it's the same guy. Him and I both live in Morocco now. One of his wives is from Morocco. He's in Tanger, I'm in Fes.
@@justinwamsley176 Yes that is definitely him. I plan on getting a sailboat and renovating it and then crossing the ocean with it. So Tanger seems like a good destination to visit during my future travels . Maybe we will be able to meet then.
I’m ready for this!! I’ve been Muslim 13 years and in the last 5 years or so it has been the roughest time. I’m really hoping to learn and get out this funk that I’ve been in for way too long.
I've got you!! I was sick this week so I couldn't produce anything but hopefully I'll be publishing 2 videos a week just for this series along with the podcast.
@@JannahVersity I found your podcast and started listening!! This is exactly what I have been needing for a long time !! Thank you ☺️ I shared it with my hubby and the kids 😆 I’m like we are getting right together 💗💗💗
@@JannahVersity May Allah heal you quickly… Ameen
thank you
Mashaa Allah... Baraka Allah feek
Ameen, been sick the past week but more to come in the coming days.
Salam, this is amazing content. I will try to keep in mind for my convert friends. I watched your recent video on your personal channel as welland I want to say that I really admire you and am happy that you overcame those difficulties. Even though as a born-Muslim, I can't fully relate to what you have experienced with the Muslim community, I understand that it was tough and I actually can relate to some of the issues related to toxicity that you mentioned. That being said, just based on the vibe I got from your two videos, I hope that you don't feel hostile to all of the community. After all, the believers are siblings and they are supposed to be one unified community. And what kind of Eid would it be if there was no one to hug three times and say "Eid Mubarak" to?! Anyways, the vibe I got probably does not correspond to reality and is due to my senses tricking me. May Allah make us find the correct balance and avoid the wrong extremes!
I pray this will benefit many, and that you share in the reward for all those you share this with.
BarakAllahufeek
Ameen.
Assalamualaikum Brother Nick,
I had listened to some of your Khutbahs in the past and it really resonated with me. May Allah grant Barakah to you.
Also wanted to request here that if you could contact Ustaadh Moosaa Richardson from First Muslim Mosque, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I think a lot of good can come out of that by the permission of Allah..
we've never met, maybe we will in the future.
Ameen, and thank you.
Looking forward to the series.
You could have a convo with Islam4Europeans channel?
I don't intend to do any interviews or compilations any time soon. There is too much work to do.
@@JannahVersity Got it. May Allah aid you.
