      @@markgriffiths6638 Hi mark, I’m using a 13ft drennan spliced tip(Tommy Pickering) it’s old but quality. Reel is loaded with 4lbs maxima chameleon and a 2g loafer, the Dane always fishes best when the river is falling after rain.

      Has a club official I have dispensation to complete maintenance and security ie check for poaching, perks of the job I suppose

    fished it for 4 hours today not a single bite , chub scales on the bank and otter tracks in the washed sand bank . not a good sign for the river

      @@Mersey-Bagger the prints in the sand said otter to me just a but smaller than a dog print with sharp claws
