Never having been a stringed instrument player, I always listened to the melody of this song. I never paid any attention to the beautiful progression of chords. Now that I’ve played them I can hear them without hearing the melody at all. Then, adding the melody on top, well, I’ve just got to wonder how Paul was able to imagine how the two would go together so perfectly. Which of course they do. I’m not at the stage yet where I can play in front of people confidently. And even if I never get there the effort is still worth it, being able to glimpse into the machinery and see something of how the gears go together.
Great observation. I've heard Paul McCartney asked interviews of how we write songs and he says something like "it's a mystery to me… And I'd like it to stay that way" ;-) thanks for watching and hanging out here :-)

I feel like some ukulele tutorials (solo tutorial) shouldn't be exclusive to people who donate money only. learning an instrument should be available to everybody and if not... well it just sucks.(Don't take this as like a hater comment or something, love your vids but just saying).
My chihuahua and I enjoyed watching this....now I need to find my uke.
