So two months in (or less), you find a niggling coloration. The kind in every phone built by man. You listen less and less. Stats hate dust collection. So what's your favorite resale sight?
great review and I thank you sir! but no bass rumble is a no go for me - I heard the Audeze CRBN and its got issues too with some distortion in bass region again a no go for me- I keep looking for the everything phone- I heard the timbre is great on the DCA for electrostatic buts it hard to beat a good the natural tone of a great dynamic for a ton less
Nice I don’t have this headphone but nice to see the SRM D50 on the desk! Use that amp with my Nectar hive X electrostatic headphone and it’s the perfect combo
I listened to CrBN in an audio store just two days ago, and wow electrostatics really have the most amazing sound I heard ! There’s something that feels different than others
@@ronbackal yeah I agree! I take my Hive X over any headphone then I currently own even my HE 1000 stealth. Electrostats They are a special kind of sound for sure
I'm on the fence right now getting this or the CRBN, I love my Audeze LCD-2, probably my favorite headphone of all time, but people swear this is better. I dunno.
I’ve listened to almost every Dan Clark headphone. They measure incredibly well, but they are boring and lifeless in my opinion. Even in this video the reviewer is perfectly still while listening to the Corina but then when he puts on the CRBN he’s bopping his head and enjoying the music.
As an owner of a Dan Clark headphone I can only say that I don’t experience it as you described. It’s a thrilling AND relaxing listening experience. The best compliment I can give is that I simply can and do listen to them almost daily for hours without any listening fatigue.
@@Excelbrains "As an owner" says it all, doesn't it? "Boring" easily translates into "lack of listening fatigue" to anyone who just spent $$$$ on headphones. Not questioning your opinion / perception of good sound, just saying that subjectivity is the key here.
@@x32i77 I’ve tried the bravura and the aperio. The Aperio is the best headphone I’ve heard. The bravura was also very good but can’t get very loud in my opinion. It’s fine in a very quiet room though. The next most impressive thing was various Tube amplifiers combined with either planar or estats.
Wonderful view and review! Dan Clark makes truly awesome gear. 🤓
I wonder how it compares to Warwick acoustics bravura and stax x9000

Great review. The typical Dan Clark sound well described.

I stopped at “$4500.00”.
Real g's are just getting started at $4500 😤 (I am not a real g)

Did you try the bravura ?

for audiofools only...if you have more money than sense....smh....
Some people save to buy lambos. Others buy face-melting pairs of headphones 🤷
😂
I wonder how incredibly sterile these are, like its brethren.
