Like that money claw you played on the other channel, the claw has a sensor so it knows when you picked up a ball. When it was freaking out, it knew you had a ball but couldn't read the RFID tag - eventually timed out and gave you no tickets :( Perhaps you should have let a member of staff know so they can remove the faulty ball from the game!
