- In this video, I'm talking with you about an unforgettable journey as an American in Switzerland! It's my first time visiting this breathtaking country, and it could be one of the. more beautiful places in the world imo, (at least in as much of the world as I have personally seen). Before I had only passed through on a train going somewhere else. But I finally got to see a little bit of this culture, and I can't wait to share every moment with you, starting with this short visit to the most expensive country in Europe, Switzerland. This is a vlog about the few expenses I experienced there.
As I go from Germany to Switzerland though, I'll be showcasing my incredible European traveling experience. You'll get to witness the beauty of these countries through my eyes, and I hope you are interested in catching all the vids. Hell, I even contemplated if this would be a good place to LIVE, even. They making money like dough and they pay less taxes. But it's a "small" country. Not so small as Luxemburg, but still small. Fun fact: In London live more people than in Switzerland, imagine that. That video made want to go to Switzerland again and enjoy a sunset at the Zurichsee.

The ability to earn more money or even a higher average salary of a country's population wouldn't be one of my top priorities when it comes to consider moving to or living in another country.

Don't focus on the money. If you do you probably get sick. You'd be better off thinking with all that wealth, how come is it you can be there. It looks their citizens are better off than those in the US. Comparable to the wealth wise...
Oh I won't. I was just accentuating how money (spending of) driven this part of that country seems to be, contrasted with how much I don't have.😅
Well. Zurich is Zurich. .with the rest of Switzerland also not to be compared in terms of prices. The average Swiss cannot afford to live in Zurich either. 😄
DANG, really? That sounds insane to me. They LOOK like they do really well.
@@ChristopherLRussell Switzerland is certainly one of the richest countries in Europe. But in order to live in Swiss cities like Zurich or Geneva, you have to earn very well, even by Swiss standards. If you can, you work in Zurich but live outside it. To live in Zurich, you have to reckon with living costs of 1700 euros per person per month. So with a family of 4 people, it comes together a lot.
