Do you have any tips for how to make the underside of the embroidery professional looking and not too bulky or scratchy? I want to embroider my own clothing but I want to make sure that they'll still be comfortable after and that the design will last!

I would try tying the thread on the underside so it is secure and cut any extra threads on the back to keep it looking more tidy! I haven’t had too many problems with the backside of my embroidered denim projects making me uncomfortable

To prevent a bulky finish..place a cloth of some sort on top sewing work and iron till its as flat as you wish it to be.
