It was reportant that Amerr al mu'mineen Umar, use to sit with the scholars every night, to remind him of jannah, jahannam, and death. We should all take a day out the week to be away from school and work and remind ourselves of the hereafter, and that we were put here to worship allah and get ourselves the highest place in jannah. Don't let this dunya or the kufar confuse you, you may be wanting a partner in a halal way and the man next to you has a new girl every day, by allah that is all he will have, this is his temporary jannah in this dunya, but he wont have any good in there hereafter, be patient and work hard towards the true jannah of ours in the hereafter
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى غَمَرَاتِ الْمَوْتُ وَسَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ
"O Allah, at this (time) of severity of death help me". (Tirmidhi)

Abdullah ibn ‘Utbah reported: Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “Verily, people were judged by revelation in the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and the revelation has ceased. We only judge now what is manifested outwardly of your deeds. Whoever shows us good, we will trust him and bring him close. It is not for us to judge anything of his inner secrets. Allah will hold him accountable for his inner secrets. Whoever shows us evil, we will never trust him or believe him even if it is said his intentions are good.”

I want that lamp
1. The believer will have a good ending (husnul khatimah)
• Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When Allaah wills good for His slave, He uses him.” They said, “How does He use him?” He said, “He guides him to do good deeds before he dies.”
[Narrated by Imam Ahmad, 11625; al-Tirmidhi, 2142; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 1334]
2. The believer will go through happiness during the exiting of the soul, the believer will also be happy in meeting his Lord and the believer will relax from the headache that this dunya has caused
• With regard to the signs of a good end that appear to the dying person, these are things that give him the glad tidings, as he is dying, that Allaah is pleased with him. As Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, those who say: ‘Our Lord is Allaah (Alone),’ and then they stand firm, on them the angels will descend (at the time of their death) (saying): ‘Fear not, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you have been promised!’”
- [Fussilat 41:30]
• ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) who said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever loves to meet Allaah, Allaah loves to meet him, and whoever hates to meet Allaah, Allaah hates to meet him.” I said, “O Prophet of Allaah, do you mean hating death, for all of us hate death?” He said, “It is not like that; but when the believer is given the glad tidings of the mercy and pleasure of Allaah, and His Paradise, he loves to meet Allaah, And when the kaafir is given the tidings of the wrath and punishment of Allaah, he hates to meet Allaah and Allaah hates to meet him.”
3. The agony of death will endure the believer. There is no way out of it. The Messenger (ﷺ) also went through the agony of death.
• As Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!"
- [Qaf 50:19]
• Narrated `Aisha:
There was a leather or wood container full of water in front of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (at the time of his death). He would put his hand into the water and rub his face with it, saying, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah! No doubt, there is agony of death."
Then he raised his hand and started saying, "(O Allah!) with the highest companions." (See Qur'an 4:69) (and kept on saying it) until his soul was taken away and his hand dropped."
[Sahih al-Bukhari 6510]
4. The angels will descend to bring happiness to the believer.
• As Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
Verily, those who say: "Our Lord is Allâh (Alone)," and then they stand firm, on them the angels will descend (at the time of their death) (saying): "Fear not, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you have been promised!
- [Fussilat 41:30]
• There are numerous aḥadīth from the Prophet stating that the soul will be removed from the body, and it will either experience bliss or punishment. It will be said to the good soul, "Come out, O good soul, that was in a good body."
(There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights.
- [Surah al- Waqi'ah, 56:89]
While it will be said to the evil soul, “Come out, O wretched soul, that was in a wretched body." The good soul will receive glad tidings of rest and provisions. The wicked soul will receive the news of the boiling 'fluid and seep age, and similar punishments.
Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges.
- [Surah Sad, 38:57]
• The soul of the believer ascends to the heaven, while the heaven does not open for the soul of the disbeliever.
'Abū Huraira narrated:
When the soul of a believer exits his body, it is received by two angels who ascend with it. The inhabitants of the heavens say, "A pious soul from the direction of the earth. May Allah send salutations upon you, and upon your body that you resided in.” He will be taken to his Lord. He will say, "Take him to his final destination.
When the soul of the disbeliever exits his body, the inhabit ants of the heavens will say, "A filthy soul from the direction of the earth." He will say take him to his final destination. 'Abu Huraira mentioned that the Messenger of Allah put a thin cloth, which was with him, upon his nose while making a mention (of the foul smell) of the soul of a disbeliever.
[Sahih Muslim, 2872]

Sheikh my father accepted islam 5 days before his death. He said , he saw some women. He showed his 6 fingers and he couldn't speak as he was in his terminal stage of cancer. Alhamdulillah later after a few mins he passed away. How am I supposed to understand his end?

Believer faces 16 stages.
1. Good ending. - Tirmidhi on Anas, Ibbn Hibban authenticated it, If Allah wants good for a slave, Allah uses them for good. Allah will give the person ability to do good deeds before dxath comes.
Abu Huraira narrated a person may do good deeds of ppl of the fire but in the ending Allah will make their acts that of the believers.
Truth of ones actions is the ending.
2. Happiness when soul leaves the body.
He wants to move forward, loves death,
hadith Aisha, if a person loves to meet Allah, Allah will love to meet this person.
3. Beiever will feel agony of death.
Ayat : Agony of death has come in truth.
Prophet peace and blessings be upon him said death has agony.
Believer, forehead sweats alot.
Timidhi narrates, Nasai, AHmad and ibn Hibban narrates it to be sahih.
Aisha saw he Prophet peace and blessings be upon him while he was dying, a utensil with water next to him, he would wipe his face, he said Oh Allah aid me in agony in death.
Some ppl have sudden death, it is relaxation for the believers.
4. Angels will descend.
Quran : those who said Allah is our Lord, ppl who are steadfast, angels say
oh good soul come out to forgiveness.
Abu Hurairah said what makes this body good, it was a body that feared Allah.
Person is shrouded.
angels pray. - oh good soul return to your Lord
ibn Abbas and ibn Hatim, in tafsir,
Prophet peace and blessings be upon him said to Abu Bakr, this will be said to you.

Assalamu alaikum. I'm not sure where to send in questions but I have one that inshallah if you have the time you can answer.
I am wondering what can a woman do to be amongst the forerunners of Islam while sticking to idea that a women is best inside the walls of her own home? I strongly want to be one of the 70,000 who enter Paradise with no punishment and know that it is possible while still remaining at home but am not sure exactly what I can do. Can a woman reach this level of Paradise simply by being a righteous wife and mother and striving hard to learn and implement the deen and teach it to her children? Or is there more I should be doing? I always feel as if I'm not doing enough. I'm not a teacher or someone who has started a charity organization or anything like that and it makes me feel like I should be doing more. Alhumdullilah I am content with being a wife and mother it is the most beautiful blessing Allah has given me after Islam, but I just want to know if I should be doing more to reach the status I desire in the afterlife?

This is called the forgotten female legacy. I highly encourage you to watch it if you haven't already. Furthermore, I would encourage you of my sister to nurture your children upon the sunnah so they can be callers to the correct tawheed and be a means of charity for you. Push for the good and forbid the evil. Encourage your husband to learn, to be obedient to Allah and to increase in his remembrance. And lastly, deeds are based upon the intention. If you had money and would start a charity, Allah knows it. I remind myself and you about the sahabas that didnt have much wealth and wanted to give in charity versus the rich sahabas who were giving a lot in charity and the prophet taught them the dhikr. SubhanAllah, Alhumdulliah, Allahu Akbar.
Keep a pure intention and keep pushing forth. Don't overwhelm yourself and don't stress rather ask Allah to open the doors of every good for you and close the doors of every evil for you.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If a woman prays her five prayers, fasts her month of Ramadan, guards her chastity, and obeys her husband, she will enter Paradise from any gate she wishes.”
