28:00 anyone having difficulty simply use the shift by mirror concept, glass slab shifts object by t(1-1/mu) towards mirror. now apparent distance of object from silver surface from which reflection will take place for image formation x - shift + t [bcz distance x is given from front surface not silvered side]. U = x + t/mu and image will be formed at the same distance behind silvered surface i.e. V = x + t/mu. distance between O and I then comes the same as stated in video

at 28:45 cant we do it by first locating the object as seen by the mirror after its shift from the glass slab and then taking its image in the plane mirror, from this however when we take shift the distance between object and the mirror become x-t(1-1/u).then finding the distance between actual object and the image it comes out to be x+t+x-t(1-1/u)=2x+t/u however yours is coming 2(x+t/u).please help me find my mistake
