It was a great time back then. The Berlin wall had just come down, Communism was collapsing and the Cold War seemed over. There was an air of optimism amongst many of us that the world had finally got its sh*t together. I was 18 and perhaps naive but I remember 1990 being a terrific year for those of us just starting the journey into adulthood.

I was ten years old in 1990...I remember I used to watch Super Channel which in my ex comunist country was something new and very stylish at that time...it connected us to the western music!🙂 And this song was played together with other hits...I loved it...I thought it sounded somehow from another space, planet. While I only just recently heard this song for the first time here in 2022, there is something about the saxophone that makes it sound so nostalgic about the 90s.

This track transcends in the late blissful 80's into the hopeful 90's!!! You can "feel" that rush and it lifts you up?! And for a while it did work but the party doesn't last forever and like all parties it must come to an end and in 2015 for Paul it did sadly....For the rest of us in 2020 it has barely even begun and I don't ever ever want a "anthem" for 2020's Covid-19!!!! Let it known that I lost my own mom in this b.s. as well!!! She loved this track btw....2020's time for survival and mindset destruction?! As it should be......

El la televisión, un día, pasaron el vídeo de Infinity. Quedé fascinado, quería bailar entre luces y dreadlocks. Junté dinero que me daban mis padres y compré el cassette de Guru Josh. Lo escuché una y otra vez de principio a fin. Pasaron un par de años, crecí, fui a bailar soñando que escucharía Infinity, no sucedió nunca. Pero compré el CD a mediados de los noventa, y después, en esta decada del 2020, el vinilo. Todavia sigue sonando increíble, único como nada de lo que sonaba de música dance a comienzos de los noventa. El final de Infinity tiene algo de melancolía que emociona y se expande, y cuando toda esa generación como la mía que escucho Guru Josh ya no este, la dulce melancolía seguirá al infinito y.... Más allá ❤😊

I was ten years old in 1990...I remember I used to watch Super Channel which in my ex comunist country was something new and very stylish at that time...it connected us to the western music!🙂
And this song was played together with other hits...I loved it...I thought it sounded somehow from another space, planet.

I remember being taken to some parties in Germany by my German friends while stationed in Fulda Sickles Airfield and this new song was played. What an incredible time to be alive. I avoided places like the Grey Goose and stuck to the Iserne Kreuz.
