  • In this video I'm replacing the internal battery of a Bosch Intuvia (used on Bosch ebiks: classic, active line and performance line).
    When the Intuvia has a dead battery, you can only power up the bike with the button on the battery. Luckily this is fixable without buying a new one.

    I hate 99.98% of RUclips. These kind of videos give me hope. Just ordered some batteries on AliExpress and will be fixing a bunch of Intuvia's that are no longer working due to depleted batteries. Thank you.

    Thanks a lot! On the back of my display, it says 5.0V === 500mA. Would the 502030 3.7V 250mAh be fine?

      Those are the specifications of the USB port. The battery is fine.

    good evening can you tell me if after you changed the battery, the general mileage was reset ?, or was it memorized? thanks

      That's all stored in the drive unit.

    My intuvia seemed to have the same difficulty. After opening the display and testing the old battery this one showed still 4,1V.
    Should I replace it anyway ?

      I would assume that your battery is still fine

    Did you try charging it up off the bike?

      Won't work when the battery is dead. When it's just discharged, you can indeed charge with the USB connector

    You don't need instructions to change the 3,7V LiPo battery. Everything you need i the capacity and dimensions of the LiPo. On the video you can see the labeling of the battery very badly.

    Hi, could the USB port be replaced?

    • @wim4245
      @wim4245  2 года назад

      I don't have a source for them. When the port is broken, I just use another display to update or diagnose the bike.
