I have 2 ideas! First is based on Retro mode. "The Drakobloxers Are Coming!" "Adds the Drakobloxer countdown but changes it to 15 mins." Blocks off backdoor and the rooms. Can't be combined w/ Super Hard Mode (obviously), or a Retro mode modifier (if they add one). No rift. Requires "Survive the Drakobloxers" achievement. +150% Knobs. 2nd idea: "Where Am I?" "Requires you to beat backdoor and the rooms (yes, up to A-1000), in one run." Can't be combined w/ SHM, The Drakobloxers Are Coming, or a Retro modifier. Requires Hotel Hell and Back on Track. +300% Knobs. The rooms doesn't require the skeleton key and the normal path is blocked. Hope the ideas are good!
i think the 1st modifier is kind of a ripoff and unfairly easy. 150% knobs (enough for hotel hell) for beating the game in under 15 minutes? Thats just gonna increase the inflation of hotel hell.
A cool modifier would be one called “Sense of scent” which would allow figure to quite literally camp at a book, switch, or other important place. The only things he can’t camp at are the lock in door 50, and the electrical room in door 100. It would also be cool to see a modifier that makes figure’s heartbeat game last longer, maybe something called “Offbeat” or something!
New modifiers for the Backdoor update: "Who's gone out the back?" "Adds the Backdoor entities (except for Haste) into the Hotel" Requires the "Around Back" achievement Can be combined with any modifier (except for "SUPER HARD MODE!" for obvious reasons) +10% knobs You can not use the Crucifix against them for the same reason as the Rooms entities. The entities will act like in the Backdoor, except for a few changes: Vacuum: More "Side doors" will appear, and there will be much less of the blocked off ones. Sometimes it may be a room with treasure chests, drawers, cabinets, while other times, you might just fall into nothingness. Blitz: It will rebound only once. When combined with the "You got time?" Modifier (my 2nd suggestion), Blitz will behave just like in normal backdoor without any changes. When combined with the "Rent's due" Modifier, There will be a second-perfect time window to avoid Blitz without coming out of a closet, and not being pushed out by Hide. "You got time?" "Adds the timer from the Backdoor and Haste into the Hotel." Requires the "Other Way Around" achievement Can be combined with any modifier (except for "SUPER HARD MODE!") +25% knobs No Rift! The timer on the doors will appear below the room number. If the timer runs out and Haste appears, the Crucifix won't work on it for the same reason as the Rooms entities. Like in normal Backdoor, the timer will begin after door 1 is opened. The levers will appear when the players are running out of time, and will add 1 minute. The lever will also spawn in locked rooms. If the rooms are small, they will give 30 seconds/1 minute (depending on time remaining). However, if the rooms are big, they will give 1 or 2 minutes. A lever will spawn in the long hallway where seek's chase begins, giving 1.5 or 2 minutes. A lever will spawn in the courtyard, which will give 3 minutes to complete the greenhouse, as no levers can spawn there. A lever will also spawn in rooms 49 and 99, giving 5 minutes for the library and Electrical room. Plus, there will be a lever in the Breaker Room that gives 1.5 minutes to complete the puzzle and escape. The timer will also freeze during cutscenes. Ambush will also do the following depending on the time left: Less than 30 seconds: Won't spawn 30-45 seconds: Can spawn without rebounding 45-60 seconds: Can rebound once or twice More than 60 seconds: Normal behavior When combined with the "Who's gone out the back?" and "Rent's due" modifiers, if you have a lot of time left, it will be almost impossible to hide from Blitz if you don't hide out of sight. "Starlit" "Adds starlight potions into the Hotel" Requires the "Shiny Connection" achievement (unlock the golden rift. The name was a suggestion in the replies) Can't be combined with the modifiers for items (for example: More Stuff, Less Stuff) and "SUPER HARD MODE!" -10% Knobs No Rift! There will be a chance of the small starlight potion to replace coins and items in drawers, and there is also a 50% chance that the big starlight potion replaces the Skeleton Key (both in Jeff Shop and anywhere else if someone is lucky for the key to spawn) What do you think?
Also, here's what Guiding Light would say if you died to the Rooms/Backdoor entities using modifiers: A-60, death 1 That's odd, I can't figure out who you died to. But it looks like it acts similarly to Rush. Use what you have learned from Rush. Death 2+ You died to that red monster again. It acts the same as Rush, except that the lights don't flicker. Listen closely for it. Once you start hearing a strange noise, hide! A-90, Death 1 That's odd, I can't figure out who you died to. But I did see a stop sign as it attacked. Try to not move when it appears. Death 2+ You died to that monster again. When it appears, you have to completely stop moving. Try to keep that in mind next time. A-120, Death 1 That's odd, I can't figure out who you died to. But it seems like that monster behaves similarly to Ambush. Use what you have learned from Ambush. Death 2 You died to that monster again. It behaves like Ambush, except that its sound cue is much quieter. You have to hide when you hear it. Death 3+ It seems like you are having trouble with that monster. Once you start hearing its quiet sound, hide! But watch out, it might come back like Ambush. You might have to hop in and out of your hiding spot a couple times. Blitz, Death 1 That's odd, I can't figure out who you died to. But it seems like it acts exactly like Rush, except for the fact that it can come back a few steps. Use what you have learned from Rush. Death 2+ You died to that monster again. It acts exactly like Rush, but it may come back a few steps. Stay in your hiding spot, until you're sure that it's gone. Lookman, death 1 That's odd, I can't figure out who you died to. But the monster hurt you when you looked at it. Use what you have learned from Eyes. Death 2+ You died to that monster again. When you look at it, it will hurt you, then move to a different spot. Use what you have learned from Eyes. Vacuum, death 1 Looks like there wasn't anything behind that door. That wasn't meant to happen. Anyways, look where you're going next time. Death 2+ You fell into that empty space again. Try to stand a bit further away from the door, so that you don't accidentally fall again. Be careful where you're going next time. Haste, death 1 Looks like the timer ran out. I don't know how that timer appeared, but whatever you do, don't let it run out! Death 2+ You ran out of time again. You have to pull the levers that you find to add time. Don't let the timer run out next time. Bonus 1: Timothy You died to Timothy. This little spider can hide in drawers. It's very unpredictable, so don't search drawers if you don't have to. Bonus 2: Snare (Greenhouse) You died to snare. In the greenhouse, you can find these little piles of dirt scattered around the floor. Don't touch them. Use a light source to scan for them. Bonus 3: Snare (outside of the Greenhouse) You died to Snare. Wait, Snare is supposed to be in the greenhouse! What was it doing there? Anyways, try to avoid it next time. Don't step on it.

I have one: "Not you again" Makes the backdoors entities spawnable in the hotel (except haste) also vacuum can combo with dupe (one real door, a dupe door and a vacuum door). Requires "Other way around" 15% more knobs
@@noasa-fo2mu Actually, it would be useful. Sometimes there are blank doors that contain closets, drawers, or chests. Adding Vacuum would make opening those doors for chests more risky.
I have five modifiers. Black Friday: Jeff sells his items for a discount. -10% All paid up: hide does not appear. -15% Hurry up!: Void deletes rooms closer than usual. +5% Weak security: less locked rooms. -15% No security: No locked rooms. -25% I would like to clarify that “Hurry Up” isn’t a 100% free +5% modifier bonus on solo because when I say deletes rooms closer, I mean like only 3 rooms are loaded at once. The one behind you, the one you're in, and the next one, so this will greatly affect Rush too.

Guys! Every 2 likes I add a modifier! Here is the first one: Slippier floor The floor is very wet and slippery, you would fall down occasionally and you will lose health as much as if you slip at a banana peel, but this won't happen if you're chased by seek, and you would be less likely to fall if you're crouching. You can have a herb and a rift, cannot be combined with wet floor, but can be combined with super hard mode, and also, it affects the entities, too. Rush, Ambush, Halt, Seek, Figure, Jeff, Seek's jeep, and other entities that act like Rush will have a better chance of falling, especially if you have: Come Back Here, It Can Run Too and I'm Runnin' here. -%5 doorknobs Requires: To beat doors with wet floor You still see me, right? Eyes never disappear as soon as the next door opens, it is no big deal, and you can have a rift and a herb. +%10 doorknobs. Requires: Rock bottom
@@DAMI4KA_LEMON point counter time! 1. Its still RNG based, so if seek doesn't slip at all then its completely impossible (because wet floors is physically not possible at seek) 2. It still makes it harder because you can't prepare for an entity slip so you just have to pray for the best so -5% knobs is a bit goofy. 3. Ambush and rush slipping would probably cause a lot of evil deaths because you could get out a closet too early very easily if they just slipped, like imagine rush is about to go out of sight before he slips, you get out the locker too early and youre cooked I think this mechanic could be cool if it was just the boss entities (seek, figure and grumbles) being able to slip, and you move like normal for -30% knobs or smth
I got an idea, “YOU BETTER BE HASTY”, this modifier enables haste not just in the hotel, but in rooms too. (This modifier cannot be combined with speed groups, and this enables rooms) This would be at least 25+, this works as an anti-afk, and instead of the levers having 1:00-:30, it would have at least 45 or 1 25 since it would be unfair for the player to have to wait for levers, just like in the back door, levers spawn in the extra rooms like closet/chest room, it would also be unfair if haste appeared in door 100 and door 50.
Fun fact: the "tank" modifier would make you Immortal from ambush and rush too. But why? Basically the tablet from the rooms GOT replaced with an item called "barrel of Starlight". It has 4 uses and gives more Speed than "maximum overdrive" and gives a really good protection shield that BASICALLY lets you take only 20 damage from rush/ambush (removes shield After but not Speed) Since the "tank" modifier doesn't make you die from non-fatal entities, rush has a set health to remove from you other than like seek and figure thats not set to a percentage of health damage but instant-death. Since that, you would be immortal to rush and ambush. Too

My idea is called "Multiverse Madness" (+500%Knobs, No rift, You Need A-1000 And The backdoors badge) This modifier makes that all the entities from rooms and the backdoor will be here too
"Trololo" "Troll now is added to deliberately annoy you" Beat "super hard mode" +20% knobs Troll acts like a much much faster version of rush. Troll may appear anywhere, even in the rooms. (exept story rooms) Troll appears randomly, but if he hasent appeared in 15 rooms he appears immediately. Troll has a random chance to rebound by teleporting 3 rooms behind your current room instead of rebounding normally. Troll cannot kill you instantly but he will the second time he gets you. (He also gains a jumpscare doing so, and yes he kills you on the "last breath mod) Can be pared with anything, even "SUPER HARD MODE"(if pared with super hard mode it prevents you from adding any additional mod) But not with any entity spawning mods to reduce cancer.

I have a modifier: "Time is Ticking". This one adds Haste from backdoors in the hotel. But this haste is blue and the levers add double the normal time. Can be combined with every modifier, has 20% knobs and requires "THE HUNT: Escape The Backdoor".
My custom mod ideas: Scary shivers [5+] If the player stays still for to long. The screan becomes blurry and Blue and u will then began to take damage. ( no restrictions ) Familiar Foe [+10%] Once figure hears you. He wont stop chaseing u. ( Requires "All figured out" badge ) Deep sleep [+10] The player will see random things. Like sometimes screan randomly goes black for no reason. Or u hear a random scream. ( Requires "not five stars" ) Backdoor opened [+20%] All entitys from the backdoor have a chance to attack. ( Requires "Another way around" ) Make haste [+15%] Timer & levers are now added. Timer does not tick in Special rooms like door 50, 100, and seek chase ( No restrictions ) Chicken pox [+10%] Timothy is now gaureenteed to spwan. Attack is now fatel. Once u are bitten, u also have 10 mins to beat the game befote u get poisoned to deat. ( Cannot be used with the "Itchy" mod ) Endless mode [+1000%] there are now endless doors, or is there (=. Special rooms no longer included. ( Cannot be used with other mods, No progression, No rift ) This mod gives a badge called "The end?" So basically u keep opening the doors untill it can no longer genrate. So basically u just keep going till u get disconnected. Then when u get back in lobby. U get the badge. I thought of a few actually, they made sense for me. -Take a hike! (Short rooms spawn in less commonly forcing longer rooms to spawn in even more. This also makes Halts room longer. This doesn't apply to Seek) -I heard that! (Figure is able to hear from further and is able to hear drawers opening and closing.) -I was reading that! (Figure will check the location of where a book was collected. If the player collects multiple books then Figure will always check the last one the player took.) -Psst! Got a minute? (Screech will have a higher chance at appearing when hiding. This includes in lit rooms.) -Holes in my pockets. (Every time the player takes any damage, they will lose gold.) -One armed hero! (Only able to hold one item.) -Medical assistance. (Band-aids will have a higher spawn rate if the player has lost any health.) -Unholy Hotel. (Not allowed the use the crucifix. The rift will also be disabled, Jeff will sell something different at his shop, and Crucifixes will not spawn around the map.) -I can be quiet too! (Figure and Seek will not play their footstep sounds.) -Extra security. (Door 50's lock code will require 10 numbers to unlock. Same as Super hard Mode.) -Didn't pay the electric bill. (Lit rooms may randomly go dark.) -Double duty! (Ambush and Rush will be attacking at the same time.) -Sorry about the mess! (Furniture such as desks, couches, and chairs can randomly spawn in different rooms. This also makes abandoned rooms more common.) -We see everything! (Eyes will spawn in every room that has Seeks eyes on the walls. This doesn't include Seeks chase sequence.) -From far beyond! (If the player takes any damage while holding anything that has durability, then the durability will decrease when damaged.) -You didn't charge the batteries? (Candles and Lighters will not spawn during a playthrough or are not useable.) -Just a candle. (The candle will stay lit no matter if an entity is present or not.) -Dangerous floors! @@timxg Well those items are temporary items that are used for one room. Stuff like Books, Paper, Paintings, and keys will still be used while this is turned on. However, items like Lighters, flashlights, crucifixes, lockpicks and skeleton keys will not work this way. This also means you cannot go into Rooms with this enabled.
@@timxg So Ima use an example to try and make this sound easier. If you have a lighter but find a lockpick, your lighter would be swapped out for the lockpick. Same for any other items like vitamins, flashlights, etc. At the beginning where you can purchase items, you will only be able to buy one and it will announce you're only able to buy one. I made this one up because it can be a great way to strategize the use of one item in your inventory.
I have a modifier idea The name is "Back For More" similar to "Room For More" the entities from the backdoor can appear in the hotel. Can be combined with Room For More. Levers spawn in the hotel now because of Haste. Floor timer gets disabled during seek chases halts hallway and figure bosses. The Back for more modifier gives 20% knobs but requires either the hunt first edition or other way around. Another modifier is "Need More Time" which gives 15% knobs and its requirements are detour and around back. And along with dupe there is the vacuum. It can look like a door where chests are and stuff like that but sometimes its a vacuum to the void. Vacuum got me thinking about another modifier called "Sucked Up" with a 15% knob bonus and the same requirements for Need More Time.
One last idea is "Make Haste" where it brings the backdoor mechanics into the hotel, though of course the switches give much more time. This also counts for seek, fuigure and door 100, you get a 25% knob bonus, you must have hotel hell and have to have completed the backdoor
Good news! This will actually be a thing. Someone made a tweet suggesting the whole time mechanic be a modifier in the future, and red responded and said it’s planned to be a modifier in a future update

Following the Backdoors update, a modifier idea rose in my head; "Undertimed" or "On a Timer", levels from the Backdoors can appear and if out of time Haste will spawn. Boss rooms (rooms with Figure) grants a 3-5 minutes lever in the room right before the players enter. Usually it will be the lever opening the door just in case you forget to flick it. There also seems to be a new page for Backdoors modifiers which are currently disabled.. so I'll drop a few more ideas: "Got no Time": levers appear less likely and will always be 30 seconds lever. "Risky Door"; Increased chances for a lever to appear in non progress doors, but Vacuum also appears more often. "Breaking TimeNSpace"; if 2 vacuums are in the same room, the room itself will distort itself and be absorbed, leaving nothing but void. "It pulls me in"; Vacuum now pulls you in. "Behind the Corner": Lookman appears much more "I'm Back": Lookman's attack cooldown is significantly reduced, acting like Eyes. "Now you don't": Lookman teleports much faster. "They found the back": Hotel entities can spawn in the Backdoors. Hide can now inhabit closets. I might continue this list later
"I was just Curious..." This modifier is self-explanatory as it is just Guiding Light being replaced with Curious Light. Requires the "A-1000" achievement. 0% Knobs boost. "He escaped again!" (Only Jeny_Punker fans would understand.) Can make A-666 an actual entity. Abilities: His powers are like Glitch's, but can teleport the player to any location possible at random, (Rooms not included.) But cannot be teleported further than the door number they're in. Can be combined with any modifier except "SUPER HARD MODE!!!" Requires "A-1000" Best combined with "Room for more" Has a 35% Knobs boost.

My idea for modifiers: Name: Hardcore Mode!! It's a doors hardcore mode, just like the doors with new entitys but it's hard Entitys: Ripper, Rebound, Old Seek, Cease, Deer God (or Dear God), Silence (hardcore), A-60 (hardcore), A-90 (hardcore), shocker and Dread hardcore More chance to spawn ambush The hardcore entitys start in door 14, but the shocker spawns in all of the doors (but not door 0) If you don't know this hardcore mode. In youtube if you search: "Doors Hardcore Mode", you will see the videos. I'm saying this so that no one needs to use a script to play this mode. Do you agree with me? Neat ideas! I got some of my own, actually! Tick Tock: Levers from The Backdoor will spawn. You will start out with 3 minutes, beginning as soon as you unlock the first door. Once time runs out, Haste will begin to attack. +10% Time's Up: Like Tick Tock, but you start with 2 minutes, and all levers only give 30 seconds instead of 1 minute. +15% Backdoor Open: Entities from The Backdoor (except Haste) can spawn in the hotel. +5% Shuffled: All rooms and events are mixed up. (Ex. Seek happening at Door 20, a greenhouse room at Door 5, or Figure happening at Door 70). +5% Dizzy: The player's view is constantly warping and wobbling, making it more difficult to see. +5% Stealth Training: The player is constantly in the crouched state. +10% And Make It Double: Entities will always spawn in pairs. (Two Eyes, Two Rushes, Two Screeches, etc.) +15% Parasite: Your health will slowly drain over time. The only way to heal is to find bandages. (This won't kill you if your health gets too low.) +10% Thgir T'nsi Siht: The hotel plays in reverse, starting at Door 100 and ending at the elevator at Door 0. +5%
I have a few name recommendations for some of these modifiers, like for "falling lights" it could be "llose screws" cause the lights are suppoerted by screws, "no more psst" can be "quiet", and "teleport master" can be "ATTENTION", "ill find you everywhere" can be " i can hear you" (spongebob lol),"who is control me" can be "second guessing" or just fix the engish.
More modifier ideas: Hellhouse: You get limited time to complete the greenhouse which is now extended from doors 85-99. Or rooms that you go into that contain a key but do not progress to the next room, in the event there is no non-progressive room you may continue until you can find one but before you get killed by dread. +15% Knobs Boost (Curfew requires not five stars achievement) Quick Thinking: You get limited time to complete the library and electrical puzzle. There will be 3 levers and 1 trick lever in the library. One lever can be found near the paper, another can be found on the right side near the closest, another one can be found at the end of the stairs to the second floor and the last can be found at the other side of the 2nd floor area. The tricked lever will randomly replace one and can be noticeable by the numbers switching and it appearing as 0:00. If you run out of time, haste will kill you. Same goes for the electrical puzzle in door 100, just a few extra levers. Be careful when using a lever, because figure can hear when you use it. +20% Knobs Boost (Quick Thinking requires rock bottom achievement) Fused Doubles: Rush is changed substantially to be harder and longer, when lights flicker rush appears normal but will open the door and enter the next room, rush will rebound back as pink blitz 1 room back, and come back as green blitz. This will be enough time for hide to kick you out so during blitz changes get out and get back in. Smarter than a rock: Rush can rebound like ambush, but rush will rebound slower, ambush will rebound slower after its second rebound. This is important to know because they check closets when they come back, they rebound slower to allow you to change closets, if you don’t change closets they’re guaranteed to kill you. Idea: "always listening" has a 5% chance of figure spawning in a normal room. The room stays the same but figure is there. Figure looks smaller and only does 50 damage instead of insta-kill. Heartbeat mini-game does not apply to this smaller figure. +30% knobs. Idea 2: "Spare change?" Jeff's shop spawns every 10 rooms. (Does not spawn at greenhouse, seek chase, library, or door 100.) All items are available. (Including gummy light and tablet.) And prices are lower. Requires A-1000 and Detour for rooms items to be available. -100% knobs No rift, No progress. Idea 3: "I HATE THIS PLACE!!!" makes all possible entity spawns happen. Example: if eyes, rush, ambush, screech, dupe, snare, jack, and shadow have a chance to spawn in 1 room, they WILL spawn garunteed. Requires hotel hell and rock bottom. +150% knobs.
I would add a modifier titled "Plants Don't Feel Pain" By using this modifier, the Greenhouse is significantly more difficult and isn't just limited to Door 90-100. Greenhouse rooms can spawn in the normal hotel and their chances of spawning increase after Door 50. The design of the Greenhouse using this modifier will be a lot more different. The walls, floors etc are still the same...but the rooms are much larger. The rooms are darker, more snares, Screech spawns more, Eyes spawns a lot more, even Dupe can spawn there now, Rush has a bigger chance of spawning and even Ambush can come. The rain noises are louder, making it hard to hear Dupe's growl, Rush, Ambush and Screech's psst +15% bonus (requires Not Five Stars) I think this modifier isn't that bad. But if you struggle with the Greenhouse, don't do this one. Also, um I had another modifier in mind titled "Housefull" This modifier makes every entity in the game spawn at least once +20% bonus (requires Hotel Hell)
@@mbutterr i guess Edit: after checking again, 10% would still be low as for a few rooms you would basically have: No entity warnings (flickering lights), noise disturbance (masking entity sounds), barely visible rooms (unless you have a light source) and a bad time (like the modifier) While i believe 20% would be reasonable, i can understand 15% because, as they said, its not in every room
10% is definitely too low for how much literally every possible thing is buffed in combination with each other. If they were to actually make this they’d probably separate each part into its own individual modifier (greenhouse rooms spawning, greenhouse rooms being longer, dupe or ambush spawning, etc you get the idea)
I have an idea. Its called "Hydrogen Imminent" So what it does is that it makes some rooms firedamp with a 20% chance. Can only be used in the hotel floor. Adds 30% knobs. Can be stacked with super hard mode and others that relate with light sources. Requires the "See you later!" Achievement Another is "Reputation is Ruined!" So basically it makes all rooms one of those key rooms but some aren't too long. Requires the "Expert Technician" Achievement. Adds 200% knobs.
I have three ideas : Decadedupe, On Off On Off, and Out to lunch. Decadedupe is where 12 dupes always spawn. Plus he insta kills. Out to Lunch is where no guiding light will help. No guiding candle, sounds, sparkles, and stuff like that. On Off On Off is the elevator breaker is harder and sometimes a switch will turn off on its own.

I have some modifier ideas: 1- A Dark Travel - The Greenhouse starts after the library and it lasts until door 100. The Infirmary wont appear. - Seek's chase will still appear and it will be changed to match the theme of the Greenhouse. - +50% knobs. - Requires "Not five stars" 2- Professional Architect - Every room is WAY bigger and complex (including the Greenhouse). - Normal locks are replaced with the door 50 puzzle (you will have to find the 8 books and the paper), but without Figure. - Entities like Rush or Ambush will start appearing randomly if you spend too much time on a single room (Rush will still make the lights flicker if you don't have Electrical Work on). - You can't use Key key key key modifier if you are using this one (you can use Locked and loaded). - +25% knobs - Requires "Not five stars" 3- A Trip To Hell - Greenhouse starts at door 1 and it extends to door 150 (door 100 will be moved to door 150). - Special doors will be changed to match the theme of the Greenhouse. - No doors will be locked. - Jeff's shop is gone. - Dupe can still spawn (Dupe's reach is lower) - Requires "Hotel Hell". - +150% knobs. - Modifiers you can't use: Itchy Any light modifier Any gold modifier Any items modifier - Extra info: Uh oh, How unfortunate or Chaos, chaos, can't pick this modifier.
1. Scramble Jumble Entities' sounds are random. 2. The sounds are random each time you encounter any entity. For example - if you meet screech 2 times, he will have different sounds each time. The sound can belong to entity itself if you're lucky enough. The entities: Every non-major entity in the hotel (major entities are Seek and Figure), any Rooms character. NO LIGHT ENTITIES 3. Does not combine with any modifier related to sound. (Except for soundproofing) 4. +10% Although kind of RNG based, it can sometimes help you, and sometimes, exactly the opposite. Mostly you can mistake Rush for Ambush, if eyes will spawn somewhere unseen for you - you can mistake them to any other entity. Mostly it will make the game harder, that's why it has +10% bonus. It does not affect game progress not the rift.

"Nightmare Noir"Makes the entire game black and white, adds a vignette and static filter and compresses the game's audio almost like it was recorded on old film. This would make it slightly harder to see things and hear entities so i think +10% knobs is fair. Also: "Sporadic static" Causes the games video and audio to turn to static for several seconds at random times, disorienting and confusing the player. It would be especially bad if you were in danger. Either +10% or +15% Knob gain should suffice. I love the modifier ideas you had and am looking forward to more ideas from you (I hope LSPLASH will take suggestions from the community, that would be awesome!) I have 3 that they are relacionated El goblino's shpoday (-15%) El goblino's fansday (-30%) And El goblino's centerday (-75%) These 3 does that the jeff shop have a probability of apearing. El goblino's shopday makes that jeff shop have a 10% of apearing in any room. "Are you sure you're alone?" -: A-90 and Screech attack at the same time (cannot be paired with any modifiers that summon A-90) "Cold Feet" -: If you stand still for too long, you get slowed, wears off after 5 seconds of moving. "Deflation." -: Jeff's items are decreased in cost. "Inflation." -: Jeff's items are increased in cost. "I Got Your Nose!" -: Figure cannot use his sense of smell, meaning as long as you are crouching and not in arms reach, you can go past him. "Die Hard." -: Anything that does damage is fatal. This includes even things like Timothy or the fire on seek. Cannot be paired with "Last Breath."

I have an idea, it wouldn’t work well as a modifier but maybe like an extra challenge or hard April fools update. So the idea is basically just building off of that one “You Really Can Run” modifier that was removed, which makes seek longer, but my idea was a seek chase that lasted all 100 doors. You have to run through all of the hotel from seek, in the normal hotel layout (no keys, and room 30 and 80 where the seek chase normally is has the normal seek chase layout).
modifier idea: loss of coordination your movement controls (WASD) are completely inverted; trying to go forward normally will make you move backwards, backwards is front, left is right, and right is left +10%

Don’t mind my name I hate it. But I do have an idea on a modifier. It would be “I Think I Fractured My Legs” It would greatly reduce player speed and will deal damage as the player walks. Can be healed with green herb or band aids (which will spawn more often). Running like in seek chase or when using vitamins will deal more damage. Damage can be avoided by crouching. No progress and a 20% knob bonus. Cannot be combined with all speed modifiers.
This is weird but, "Taylor Hotel" would be cool. Every ten doors, the themes switch between the eras, and entities spawning would be sorted to their rooms based on their color. The library can now have one location, Door 90 (the start of evermore). The last room wound probably be the Seek chase, lasting ten doors.

What do you think about my modifiers? “Being Too Handy” You can now hold 2 crucifixes execpt one. Crucifix can be used in rooms. Some crucifixes will be shattered but will be kind of useless. (Cannot successfully crucify entities and wont work on figure & seek.) No rift. “Bleeding September” Jack will appear more often in closets, But slightly more rare in rooms. “So thats where you were..” Rush & Ambush can know detect where players hide with no closets. Beds are no longer safe. “Seriously dude?” Guiding light will appear more often, Light rooms also include guiding light sometimes. Every time you die, Guiding light goes from helpful, to mad.
Teleport Master is kinda now in The Mines Eyes can teleport in 2 - 3 locations every few seconds Oh yeah also, there’s a mod called “It Can Run Too” which makes Seek run “Unfairly” fast Damn these are nice ideas, how creative? Imagine all these mods being there
my idea: Everywhere is Sticky! makes it so spiderwebs spawn throughout the hotel. (way way fewer in door 50, 100, and seek chases.) if you step in a spiderweb. it's kinda like snare. but it has a 5 second stun. it keeps you there for 5 seconds and damages you. it does about 10 - 5 damage. depends on if you have any health modifiers. cannot be pared with any speed modifiers. hope they add this in game.
i had a similar idea thats like Shelter for Plants i called it The Gardener, you start in the courtyard and every room besides the seek chase and both figures is the garden/greenhouse, with the same properties ofcourse The seek chase room would be another courtyard, and the rooms until the end would be the same. Just garden-ified The library would remain the same, i dont have much ideas for it as of writing this
Falling lights should REALLY be added, I love the concept of it, because it just makes it even more of a challange.

"The Drakobloxers Are Coming!"
"Adds the Drakobloxer countdown but changes it to 15 mins." Blocks off backdoor and the rooms. Can't be combined w/ Super Hard Mode (obviously), or a Retro mode modifier (if they add one). No rift. Requires "Survive the Drakobloxers" achievement. +150% Knobs.
2nd idea:
"Where Am I?"
"Requires you to beat backdoor and the rooms (yes, up to A-1000), in one run." Can't be combined w/ SHM, The Drakobloxers Are Coming, or a Retro modifier. Requires Hotel Hell and Back on Track. +300% Knobs. The rooms doesn't require the skeleton key and the normal path is blocked.

A cool modifier would be one called “Sense of scent” which would allow figure to quite literally camp at a book, switch, or other important place. The only things he can’t camp at are the lock in door 50, and the electrical room in door 100. It would also be cool to see a modifier that makes figure’s heartbeat game last longer, maybe something called “Offbeat” or something!

You can not use the Crucifix against them for the same reason as the Rooms entities. The entities will act like in the Backdoor, except for a few changes:
Vacuum: More "Side doors" will appear, and there will be much less of the blocked off ones. Sometimes it may be a room with treasure chests, drawers, cabinets, while other times, you might just fall into nothingness.
Blitz: It will rebound only once. When combined with the "You got time?" Modifier (my 2nd suggestion), Blitz will behave just like in normal backdoor without any changes. When combined with the "Rent's due" Modifier, There will be a second-perfect time window to avoid Blitz without coming out of a closet, and not being pushed out by Hide.

The timer on the doors will appear below the room number. If the timer runs out and Haste appears, the Crucifix won't work on it for the same reason as the Rooms entities. Like in normal Backdoor, the timer will begin after door 1 is opened. The levers will appear when the players are running out of time, and will add 1 minute. The lever will also spawn in locked rooms. If the rooms are small, they will give 30 seconds/1 minute (depending on time remaining). However, if the rooms are big, they will give 1 or 2 minutes. A lever will spawn in the long hallway where seek's chase begins, giving 1.5 or 2 minutes. A lever will spawn in the courtyard, which will give 3 minutes to complete the greenhouse, as no levers can spawn there. A lever will also spawn in rooms 49 and 99, giving 5 minutes for the library and Electrical room. Plus, there will be a lever in the Breaker Room that gives 1.5 minutes to complete the puzzle and escape. The timer will also freeze during cutscenes. Ambush will also do the following depending on the time left:
Less than 30 seconds: Won't spawn
30-45 seconds: Can spawn without rebounding
45-60 seconds: Can rebound once or twice
More than 60 seconds: Normal behavior
When combined with the "Who's gone out the back?" and "Rent's due" modifiers, if you have a lot of time left, it will be almost impossible to hide from Blitz if you don't hide out of sight.

Actually, it would be useful. Sometimes there are blank doors that contain closets, drawers, or chests. Adding Vacuum would make opening those doors for chests more risky.

Guys! Every 2 likes I add a modifier! Here is the first one: Slippier floor
The floor is very wet and slippery, you would fall down occasionally and you will lose health as much as if you slip at a banana peel, but this won't happen if you're chased by seek, and you would be less likely to fall if you're crouching. You can have a herb and a rift, cannot be combined with wet floor, but can be combined with super hard mode, and also, it affects the entities, too. Rush, Ambush, Halt, Seek, Figure, Jeff, Seek's jeep, and other entities that act like Rush will have a better chance of falling, especially if you have: Come Back Here, It Can Run Too and I'm Runnin' here.

1. Its still RNG based, so if seek doesn't slip at all then its completely impossible (because wet floors is physically not possible at seek)
2. It still makes it harder because you can't prepare for an entity slip so you just have to pray for the best so -5% knobs is a bit goofy.
3. Ambush and rush slipping would probably cause a lot of evil deaths because you could get out a closet too early very easily if they just slipped, like imagine rush is about to go out of sight before he slips, you get out the locker too early and youre cooked
I think this mechanic could be cool if it was just the boss entities (seek, figure and grumbles) being able to slip, and you move like normal for -30% knobs or smth

I got an idea, “YOU BETTER BE HASTY”, this modifier enables haste not just in the hotel, but in rooms too. (This modifier cannot be combined with speed groups, and this enables rooms) This would be at least 25+, this works as an anti-afk, and instead of the levers having 1:00-:30, it would have at least 45 or 1 25 since it would be unfair for the player to have to wait for levers, just like in the back door, levers spawn in the extra rooms like closet/chest room, it would also be unfair if haste appeared in door 100 and door 50.
"Who Is Control Me?" will be much fatal with "MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE" cuz you can move far away with only few seconds

Fun fact: the "tank" modifier would make you Immortal from ambush and rush too. But why?
Basically the tablet from the rooms GOT replaced with an item called "barrel of Starlight".
It has 4 uses and gives more Speed than "maximum overdrive" and gives a really good protection shield that BASICALLY lets you take only 20 damage from rush/ambush (removes shield After but not Speed)
Since the "tank" modifier doesn't make you die from non-fatal entities, rush has a set health to remove from you other than like seek and figure thats not set to a percentage of health damage but instant-death.
Since that, you would be immortal to rush and ambush. Too
you have a point and so this means with the modifier the only entities that can kill are seek and figure

Troll appears randomly, but if he hasent appeared in 15 rooms he appears immediately.
Troll has a random chance to rebound by teleporting 3 rooms behind your current room instead of rebounding normally.
Troll cannot kill you instantly but he will the second time he gets you. (He also gains a jumpscare doing so, and yes he kills you on the "last breath mod)
Can be pared with anything, even "SUPER HARD MODE"(if pared with super hard mode it prevents you from adding any additional mod) But not with any entity spawning mods to reduce cancer.

I have a modifier: "Time is Ticking". This one adds Haste from backdoors in the hotel. But this haste is blue and the levers add double the normal time. Can be combined with every modifier, has 20% knobs and requires "THE HUNT: Escape The Backdoor".

Scary shivers [5+] If the player stays still for to long. The screan becomes blurry and Blue and u will then began to take damage. ( no restrictions )
Familiar Foe [+10%] Once figure hears you. He wont stop chaseing u. ( Requires "All figured out" badge )
Deep sleep [+10] The player will see random things. Like sometimes screan randomly goes black for no reason. Or u hear a random scream. ( Requires "not five stars" )
Backdoor opened [+20%] All entitys from the backdoor have a chance to attack. ( Requires "Another way around" )
Make haste [+15%] Timer & levers are now added. Timer does not tick in Special rooms like door 50, 100, and seek chase ( No restrictions )
Chicken pox [+10%] Timothy is now gaureenteed to spwan. Attack is now fatel. Once u are bitten, u also have 10 mins to beat the game befote u get poisoned to deat. ( Cannot be used with the "Itchy" mod )
Endless mode [+1000%] there are now endless doors, or is there (=. Special rooms no longer included. ( Cannot be used with other mods, No progression, No rift ) This mod gives a badge called "The end?" So basically u keep opening the doors untill it can no longer genrate. So basically u just keep going till u get disconnected. Then when u get back in lobby. U get the badge.

I thought of a few actually, they made sense for me.
-Take a hike! (Short rooms spawn in less commonly forcing longer rooms to spawn in even more. This also makes Halts room longer. This doesn't apply to Seek)
-I heard that! (Figure is able to hear from further and is able to hear drawers opening and closing.)
-I was reading that! (Figure will check the location of where a book was collected. If the player collects multiple books then Figure will always check the last one the player took.)
-Psst! Got a minute? (Screech will have a higher chance at appearing when hiding. This includes in lit rooms.)
-Holes in my pockets. (Every time the player takes any damage, they will lose gold.)
-One armed hero! (Only able to hold one item.)
-Medical assistance. (Band-aids will have a higher spawn rate if the player has lost any health.)
-Unholy Hotel. (Not allowed the use the crucifix. The rift will also be disabled, Jeff will sell something different at his shop, and Crucifixes will not spawn around the map.)
-I can be quiet too! (Figure and Seek will not play their footstep sounds.)
-Extra security. (Door 50's lock code will require 10 numbers to unlock. Same as Super hard Mode.)
-Didn't pay the electric bill. (Lit rooms may randomly go dark.)
-Double duty! (Ambush and Rush will be attacking at the same time.)
-Sorry about the mess! (Furniture such as desks, couches, and chairs can randomly spawn in different rooms. This also makes abandoned rooms more common.)
-We see everything! (Eyes will spawn in every room that has Seeks eyes on the walls. This doesn't include Seeks chase sequence.)
-From far beyond! (Rooms behind players will always close 2 rooms behind instead of 4 behind. In addition, rooms will close off after a certain amount of time and if they don't leave the previous room then void will teleport them to the active room.)
-Glitches get stitches! (If Glitch is ever spawned then he will deal damage to the player once he teleports them to the correct room.)
-From the Dollar store! (If the player takes any damage while holding anything that has durability, then the durability will decrease when damaged.)
-You didn't charge the batteries? (If the player obtains a flashlight it will always have full durability. However, batteries will not spawn in anywhere around the map.)
-Fire! (Candles and Lighters will not spawn during a playthrough or are not useable.)
-Just a candle. (The candle will stay lit no matter if an entity is present or not.)
-Dangerous floors! (Any broken shards of glass on the floor from busted lights will deal damage to the player.)

@@timxg Well those items are temporary items that are used for one room. Stuff like Books, Paper, Paintings, and keys will still be used while this is turned on. However, items like Lighters, flashlights, crucifixes, lockpicks and skeleton keys will not work this way. This also means you cannot go into Rooms with this enabled.

@@timxg So Ima use an example to try and make this sound easier. If you have a lighter but find a lockpick, your lighter would be swapped out for the lockpick. Same for any other items like vitamins, flashlights, etc. At the beginning where you can purchase items, you will only be able to buy one and it will announce you're only able to buy one. I made this one up because it can be a great way to strategize the use of one item in your inventory.

I have a modifier idea
The name is "Back For More" similar to "Room For More" the entities from the backdoor can appear in the hotel. Can be combined with Room For More. Levers spawn in the hotel now because of Haste. Floor timer gets disabled during seek chases halts hallway and figure bosses. The Back for more modifier gives 20% knobs but requires either the hunt first edition or other way around. Another modifier is "Need More Time" which gives 15% knobs and its requirements are detour and around back. And along with dupe there is the vacuum. It can look like a door where chests are and stuff like that but sometimes its a vacuum to the void. Vacuum got me thinking about another modifier called "Sucked Up" with a 15% knob bonus and the same requirements for Need More Time.
One last idea is "Make Haste" where it brings the backdoor mechanics into the hotel, though of course the switches give much more time. This also counts for seek, fuigure and door 100, you get a 25% knob bonus, you must have hotel hell and have to have completed the backdoor
Yes I'd love to see haste in doors, obviously nerfed because of locked rooms, seek chase and figure rooms
It would be good to make timer stop when figure or seek but it could work like in Library there's 5+ levers and you can activate them

bad grammar + bad modifier
Following the Backdoors update, a modifier idea rose in my head;
"Undertimed" or "On a Timer", levels from the Backdoors can appear and if out of time Haste will spawn. Boss rooms (rooms with Figure) grants a 3-5 minutes lever in the room right before the players enter. Usually it will be the lever opening the door just in case you forget to flick it.
There also seems to be a new page for Backdoors modifiers which are currently disabled.. so I'll drop a few more ideas:
"Got no Time": levers appear less likely and will always be 30 seconds lever.
"Risky Door"; Increased chances for a lever to appear in non progress doors, but Vacuum also appears more often.
"Breaking TimeNSpace"; if 2 vacuums are in the same room, the room itself will distort itself and be absorbed, leaving nothing but void.
"It pulls me in"; Vacuum now pulls you in.
"Behind the Corner": Lookman appears much more
"I'm Back": Lookman's attack cooldown is significantly reduced, acting like Eyes.
"Now you don't": Lookman teleports much faster.
"They found the back": Hotel entities can spawn in the Backdoors. Hide can now inhabit closets.

Who are those? - adds every single entity into the game, even bald kreek - 200%

Parkour! - enables jumping in the game and adds rooms with lava bricks (chandelier fire) - 10%
Cheater club - removes anticheat from the game, doesnt get u banned - 5000%- - rift disabled, progress disabled, herb disabled, badges disabled.
Nervous - makes the heartbeat minigame even harder - 50%

Name: Hardcore Mode!!
It's a doors hardcore mode, just like the doors with new entitys but it's hard
Entitys: Ripper, Rebound, Old Seek, Cease, Deer God (or Dear God), Silence (hardcore), A-60 (hardcore), A-90 (hardcore), shocker and Dread hardcore
More chance to spawn ambush
The hardcore entitys start in door 14, but the shocker spawns in all of the doors (but not door 0)
If you don't know this hardcore mode. In youtube if you search: "Doors Hardcore Mode", you will see the videos.
I'm saying this so that no one needs to use a script to play this mode.

Tick Tock: Levers from The Backdoor will spawn. You will start out with 3 minutes, beginning as soon as you unlock the first door. Once time runs out, Haste will begin to attack. +10%
Time's Up: Like Tick Tock, but you start with 2 minutes, and all levers only give 30 seconds instead of 1 minute. +15%
Backdoor Open: Entities from The Backdoor (except Haste) can spawn in the hotel. +5%
Shuffled: All rooms and events are mixed up. (Ex. Seek happening at Door 20, a greenhouse room at Door 5, or Figure happening at Door 70). +5%
Dizzy: The player's view is constantly warping and wobbling, making it more difficult to see. +5%
Stealth Training: The player is constantly in the crouched state. +10%
And Make It Double: Entities will always spawn in pairs. (Two Eyes, Two Rushes, Two Screeches, etc.) +15%
Parasite: Your health will slowly drain over time. The only way to heal is to find bandages. (This won't kill you if your health gets too low.) +10%
Thgir T'nsi Siht: The hotel plays in reverse, starting at Door 100 and ending at the elevator at Door 0. +5%

the modifier "Thgir T'nsi Siht" is the backwards form of "This Isn't Right."
I have a few name recommendations for some of these modifiers, like for "falling lights" it could be "llose screws" cause the lights are suppoerted by screws,
"no more psst" can be "quiet", and "teleport master" can be "ATTENTION", "ill find you everywhere" can be " i can hear you" (spongebob lol),"who is control me" can be "second guessing" or just fix the engish.

(Curfew requires not five stars achievement)
Quick Thinking:
You get limited time to complete the library and electrical puzzle. There will be 3 levers and 1 trick lever in the library. One lever can be found near the paper, another can be found on the right side near the closest, another one can be found at the end of the stairs to the second floor and the last can be found at the other side of the 2nd floor area. The tricked lever will randomly replace one and can be noticeable by the numbers switching and it appearing as 0:00. If you run out of time, haste will kill you. Same goes for the electrical puzzle in door 100, just a few extra levers. Be careful when using a lever, because figure can hear when you use it.

Fused Doubles:
Rush is changed substantially to be harder and longer, when lights flicker rush appears normal but will open the door and enter the next room, rush will rebound back as pink blitz 1 room back, and come back as green blitz. This will be enough time for hide to kick you out so during blitz changes get out and get back in.
Smarter than a rock:
Rush can rebound like ambush, but rush will rebound slower, ambush will rebound slower after its second rebound. This is important to know because they check closets when they come back, they rebound slower to allow you to change closets, if you don’t change closets they’re guaranteed to kill you. After 2 ambush rebounds he’ll check closets, but will rebound slower.
+25% Knobs Boost
Blindfold:
Eyes appears with blindfolds and is the opposite of eyes, you have to look at him to not take damage.
+15% Knobs Boost
IWHBYD:
Curious light replaces guiding light and guiding is orange. Rare occurrences such as shadow and jack appear more often and if they appear you take as much damage as A-90 would, they cannot kill you but will damage you down to 10% health.

For the backdoors, im thinking "Less Time" and "No time", levers are rare/give less time. And maybe a hide modifier?
Idea: "always listening" has a 5% chance of figure spawning in a normal room. The room stays the same but figure is there. Figure looks smaller and only does 50 damage instead of insta-kill. Heartbeat mini-game does not apply to this smaller figure. +30% knobs.
Idea 2: "Spare change?" Jeff's shop spawns every 10 rooms. (Does not spawn at greenhouse, seek chase, library, or door 100.) All items are available. (Including gummy light and tablet.) And prices are lower. Requires A-1000 and Detour for rooms items to be available. -100% knobs No rift, No progress.
Idea 3: "I HATE THIS PLACE!!!" makes all possible entity spawns happen. Example: if eyes, rush, ambush, screech, dupe, snare, jack, and shadow have a chance to spawn in 1 room, they WILL spawn garunteed. Requires hotel hell and rock bottom. +150% knobs.

I would add a modifier titled "Plants Don't Feel Pain"
By using this modifier, the Greenhouse is significantly more difficult and isn't just limited to Door 90-100. Greenhouse rooms can spawn in the normal hotel and their chances of spawning increase after Door 50.
The design of the Greenhouse using this modifier will be a lot more different. The walls, floors etc are still the same...but the rooms are much larger. The rooms are darker, more snares, Screech spawns more, Eyes spawns a lot more, even Dupe can spawn there now, Rush has a bigger chance of spawning and even Ambush can come. The rain noises are louder, making it hard to hear Dupe's growl, Rush, Ambush and Screech's psst

Edit: after checking again, 10% would still be low as for a few rooms you would basically have:
No entity warnings (flickering lights), noise disturbance (masking entity sounds), barely visible rooms (unless you have a light source) and a bad time (like the modifier)
While i believe 20% would be reasonable, i can understand 15% because, as they said, its not in every room
make it 15% greenhouse aint no joke
10% is definitely too low for how much literally every possible thing is buffed in combination with each other. If they were to actually make this they’d probably separate each part into its own individual modifier (greenhouse rooms spawning, greenhouse rooms being longer, dupe or ambush spawning, etc you get the idea)
I have an idea.
Its called "Hydrogen Imminent"
So what it does is that it makes some rooms firedamp with a 20% chance.
Can only be used in the hotel floor.
Adds 30% knobs.
Can be stacked with super hard mode and others that relate with light sources.
Requires the "See you later!" Achievement
Another is "Reputation is Ruined!"
So basically it makes all rooms one of those key rooms but some aren't too long.
Requires the "Expert Technician" Achievement.
Adds 200% knobs.
I have three ideas : Decadedupe, On Off On Off, and Out to lunch. Decadedupe is where 12 dupes always spawn. Plus he insta kills. Out to Lunch is where no guiding light will help. No guiding candle, sounds, sparkles, and stuff like that. On Off On Off is the elevator breaker is harder and sometimes a switch will turn off on its own.
How would decadupe work with room numbers? Cuz 12 rooms numbers is a lot. Also deca means 10 the prefix for 12 is dodeca

“Power Outage” - every room is dark (Guiding Light will help with Seek and Figure’s rooms)
“A Friend Named Fire” - lighters and candles are the only light source you can find in the Hotel
“I Was Just Curious” - replaces Guiding Light with Curious light (nothing special, just changes some dialogue)
“Starlit” - Curious potions (Bottle of Starlight if you’re lucky, or if you buy it from Jeff Shop) now spawn in the Hotel
Rooms Modifiers:
“Stop Right There!” - A-90 spawns more often
“Back For Seconds”- A-60 has a chance to rebound
“Medical Assistance” - more bandages in the Rooms”

I have some modifier ideas:
1- A Dark Travel
- The Greenhouse starts after the library and it lasts until door 100. The Infirmary wont appear.
- Seek's chase will still appear and it will be changed to match the theme of the Greenhouse.
- +50% knobs.
- Requires "Not five stars"
2- Professional Architect
- Every room is WAY bigger and complex (including the Greenhouse).
- Normal locks are replaced with the door 50 puzzle (you will have to find the 8 books and the paper), but without Figure.
- Entities like Rush or Ambush will start appearing randomly if you spend too much time on a single room (Rush will still make the lights flicker if you don't have Electrical Work on).
- You can't use Key key key key modifier if you are using this one (you can use Locked and loaded).
- +25% knobs
- Requires "Not five stars"
3- A Trip To Hell
- Greenhouse starts at door 1 and it extends to door 150 (door 100 will be moved to door 150).
- Special doors will be changed to match the theme of the Greenhouse.
- No doors will be locked.
- Jeff's shop is gone.
- Dupe can still spawn (Dupe's reach is lower)
- Requires "Hotel Hell".

1. Scramble Jumble
Entities' sounds are random.
2. The sounds are random each time you encounter any entity. For example - if you meet screech 2 times, he will have different sounds each time. The sound can belong to entity itself if you're lucky enough.
The entities: Every non-major entity in the hotel (major entities are Seek and Figure), any Rooms character. NO LIGHT ENTITIES
3. Does not combine with any modifier related to sound. (Except for soundproofing)

Although kind of RNG based, it can sometimes help you, and sometimes, exactly the opposite. Mostly you can mistake Rush for Ambush, if eyes will spawn somewhere unseen for you - you can mistake them to any other entity. Mostly it will make the game harder, that's why it has +10% bonus. It does not affect game progress not the rift.

Lights broke may mean that all rooms have no dark rooms, except a random room in greenhouse. Requires “Not Five Stars”
2nd mod: hospital
Hospital means infirmary will appear earlier, at room 63 or otherwise at room 57, this can appear in random rooms only these rooms, 7 rooms (57 - 63) except 60 or 61.
Requires “One Of Many” And “Back From The Dead”
3rd mod: waste or space
Waste or space means less rooms will have their lights on in greenhouse. Requires “All Figured Out”
4th mod: curey for more
Curey for more means lookman or blitz has a chance to appear in a room, this mod will make hide not exist in the hotel. Requires “Around Back”
5th mod: look yourself!
Look yourself! means shadow appears more or way more in different rooms.
6th mod: Specialist
Specialist means rooms of drooms has a chance to appear in doors, only has dupe room with key, both locked doors, or an alone door that’s locked. This goes for upstairs T-shaped room. Requires “True Tower hero” And “Tower Hero”
7th mod: Outrageous entities
Outrageous entities means outraged entities has a chance to appear in a room, eyes can damage through the walls if it’s outraged.
8th mod: no waits
No waits means void doesn’t exist in doors, means glitch has to bring you if you’re in a room that’s was the lastest. Requires “It Stares Back” And “Error”
9th mod: speedrun
Speedrun means you are faster than the maximum overdrive, this will also heal you faster than the slowest of all time, just like you’re sonic.
10th mod: Non-stoppable rush
Non-stoppable rush means rush won’t end, means more rushes will appear, all you have to do is to get admin panel, infinite rush spawn, and crucify it. Requires “Stay Out Of My Way”
11th mod: Tickin’ tockin’
Tickin’ tockin’ means dread will spawn earlier, even at random room. (only for 5 - 11 are early rooms)
12th mod: fire trouble
Fire trouble means long-halled rooms will have a light falling and turn on fire, same living at seek chase of these all. Requires “You Can Run” And “Take A Breather”
13th mod: did skip leg day
Did skip leg day means you have no movement from standing of a walk, all you need to move is to crouch, same living at the library. Requires “Shh!”
14th mod: the mines
The mines means after escaping floor 1 will teleport you to floor 2, that can only be on few days, or a mod for that to look like that one must be also a mod, plus this is true to make it in doors.
15th mod: Worserst time ever
Worsest time ever means entities will attack unfairly in every room, all you need to stop it in a room is from crucifixing, and no, entities can’t appear at seeks chase, or at the library, using maximum overdrive to room 100 will make it escape and hide in room 100 from rush, in ambush you have to otherwise hide in closets, bc he will come like this, up, right, up, left, up, right, up, right, down, not just he’s escaping the hotel.
16th mod: Foiled
Foiled means seek chase will appear way too earlier, at 6 to 14 rooms, rush can also appear durning seek chase, but rush won’t attack, but makes harder to escape, with eletrical work is easier. Requires “Hotel Hell”
17th mod: no more abound
No more abound means ambush won’t rebound.
18th mod: official statement

"Nightmare Noir"Makes the entire game black and white, adds a vignette and static filter and compresses the game's audio almost like it was recorded on old film. This would make it slightly harder to see things and hear entities so i think +10% knobs is fair. Also:
"Sporadic static" Causes the games video and audio to turn to static for several seconds at random times, disorienting and confusing the player. It would be especially bad if you were in danger. Either +10% or +15% Knob gain should suffice.

"Are you sure you're alone?" -: A-90 and Screech attack at the same time (cannot be paired with any modifiers that summon A-90)
"Cold Feet" -: If you stand still for too long, you get slowed, wears off after 5 seconds of moving.
"Deflation." -: Jeff's items are decreased in cost.
"Inflation." -: Jeff's items are increased in cost.
"I Got Your Nose!" -: Figure cannot use his sense of smell, meaning as long as you are crouching and not in arms reach, you can go past him.
"Die Hard." -: Anything that does damage is fatal. This includes even things like Timothy or the fire on seek. Cannot be paired with "Last Breath."

I have an idea, it wouldn’t work well as a modifier but maybe like an extra challenge or hard April fools update. So the idea is basically just building off of that one “You Really Can Run” modifier that was removed, which makes seek longer, but my idea was a seek chase that lasted all 100 doors. You have to run through all of the hotel from seek, in the normal hotel layout (no keys, and room 30 and 80 where the seek chase normally is has the normal seek chase layout).

Don’t mind my name I hate it. But I do have an idea on a modifier. It would be “I Think I Fractured My Legs” It would greatly reduce player speed and will deal damage as the player walks. Can be healed with green herb or band aids (which will spawn more often). Running like in seek chase or when using vitamins will deal more damage. Damage can be avoided by crouching. No progress and a 20% knob bonus. Cannot be combined with all speed modifiers.
This is weird but, "Taylor Hotel" would be cool. Every ten doors, the themes switch between the eras, and entities spawning would be sorted to their rooms based on their color. The library can now have one location, Door 90 (the start of evermore). The last room wound probably be the Seek chase, lasting ten doors.

Fire Show - fuel is consumed more slowly. -10%
{ Leak - fuel is used up faster. +5%
Sacrificing Gas - all fuel is spent in 10 seconds. +15%

The Thief-Loser - there is a chance that the master key will break during the lock picking. +5%

“Being Too Handy”
You can now hold 2 crucifixes execpt one.
Crucifix can be used in rooms.
Some crucifixes will be shattered but will be kind of useless. (Cannot successfully crucify entities and wont work on figure & seek.)
No rift.
“Bleeding September”
Jack will appear more often in closets, But slightly more rare in rooms.
“So thats where you were..”
Rush & Ambush can know detect where players hide with no closets.
Beds are no longer safe.
“Seriously dude?”
Guiding light will appear more often, Light rooms also include guiding light sometimes. Every time you die, Guiding light goes from helpful, to mad.

Teleport Master is kinda now in The Mines
Eyes can teleport in 2 - 3 locations every few seconds
Oh yeah also, there’s a mod called “It Can Run Too” which makes Seek run “Unfairly” fast
Damn these are nice ideas, how creative?
Imagine all these mods being there
Modifiers can only have at LEAST -90% knobs so you don’t get negative knobs
I think the names could use some touchups, but other than that they’re pretty good.
my idea:
Everywhere is Sticky!
makes it so spiderwebs spawn throughout the hotel. (way way fewer in door 50, 100, and seek chases.)
if you step in a spiderweb. it's kinda like snare. but it has a 5 second stun. it keeps you there for 5 seconds and damages you. it does about 10 - 5 damage. depends on if you have any health modifiers.
cannot be pared with any speed modifiers.
hope they add this in game.
i had a similar idea thats like Shelter for Plants
i called it The Gardener, you start in the courtyard and every room besides the seek chase and both figures is the garden/greenhouse, with the same properties ofcourse
The seek chase room would be another courtyard, and the rooms until the end would be the same. Just garden-ified
The library would remain the same, i dont have much ideas for it as of writing this
