    Sharon didn't decide to leave the show. She got the golden parachute as she got the boot out of the door. It was a show. You don't have a heart to heart with a friend on TV, if your goal is understanding and to convey your perception of what your friend said.

    • @giornogiovanni5655
      @giornogiovanni5655 3 года назад +1

      @Queen Nita I would argue that having a heart to heart on TV is unwise, if you value your friendship. Good relationships require boundaries and discretion. Reality TV has destroyed so many relationships because it causes people to get more caught up in their feelings or put on airs for their reputation. In a private conversation, Sheryl Underwood could have unloaded both barrels on Osbourne, if she wanted to, and not be perceived as an angry Black woman, but as an angry Black friend. I realize that some women have become accustomed to the frenemies concept, where you say and do nasty stuff behind each other's backs, but act like you're friends. That is some cornball shit that shows a lack of boundaries and poor judgmemt.

She had a 'feeling' about Piers that she didn't like but she couldn't actually name one single thing. Then she went for poor Sharon and took her down, along with the others. She just piled on her for nothing? She had nothing?? She didn't have one single shred of fact on Piers. And poor Sharon is just trying to inject a little logic into the mix. A person is still entitled to their opinion. That is a FACT. And here everyone is calling Sheryl a Queen. A Queen of what? A Queen of mediocrity? A Queen of not being prepared? CTG All that getting angry would’ve done was lost Sheryl her job too. No one knows what that term angry black women or difficult does to us; but ask the first aunt viv from the fresh prince of bel-air. Angry at social injustice ABSOLUTELY😡 angry and yelling at ppl at work will only cost us that job and Sheryl would not get the same grace they gave Sharon. As a black woman I was proud of Sheryl and her demeanor in that situation

      I soooo agree. Ppl use "friend" too loosely. I blame social media sites for that thinking. In my country, we have a saying that "every skin teet aint a laugh". Everyone you know is not your friend especially when dealing with work colleagues. You may know a lot of ppl but as a mentor once told me " while someone may be your friend, you may not be theirs". 👀
      Sharon showed her colours on tv that day and Sheryl saw the true her. Remember what Maya Angelou says "When ppl show you who they are, believe them." 😉

    I agree that being the angry Black woman has gotten me no where. Women have to express themselves at the degree that controversy is presented (i.e., I meet people where they are). I also feel that we're in a place where no one can have a different opinion. Debating has become obsolete, unfortunately.
