Robert with my utmost sincerity, I'd like to thank you so much for this message. And I'll tell you this, your message is God sent, i had been praying about this over the last week .I'm not a 7 day eventist at all, but most of my studies and division of the bible, are still in the old testament, as I make my way through the bible because im trying to do this right ad i try to wrap my head around the fundamentals of everything . In my infancy, I was in the best words unknowledgeable about how to be orcastrating my life around God's word. When I read the bible front to back the first time ( and now I am on my second time through, while dividing the word and studying it), I felt so sinful on my journey through the old testament. Just so damned by my state of being. But what I received from that journey was a wholesome fear of the Lord. I've been raised in the church all my life but very ignorant to what the bible teaches. And so I was like "I need to do this I need to uphold that" the whole works mentality that comes to some people such as myself. And sometimes we fall short of what we are supposed to be doing, and I have been corrected by God through this, All I want to do, is to do the right thing in the eyes of God. More then ever are people living a Godless life and this world is rapidly declining, and i want to be an example for people and my son and my fiance . So Israel is at war with Hamas and if you remember, Jesus was saying, pray, it doesn’t happen on the sabbath. There are no coincidences with God I pray for the safety of those in Israel. The sabbath was a covenant between the nation of Israel & God.
Gentiles are not part of that covenant.
Nor were they given the sabbath.
No Gentile was told to keep it.

@@Longstorie In Luke 23:56 we see the women keeping the sabbath according to the commandment, Christ had died already, it was custom back then to keep the sabbath so it wouldn't need to be mentioned, everyone kept it so there was no issue there, teaching was also done on the Sabbath as we see in Acts chapter's 13,16,17 & 18, here again Christ is gone, however theft, idolatry, adultery etc... were issues and therefore needed to be addressed, the food laws weren't changed either, only the sacrificing of animals, there are certain foods that were never given for food and shouldn't be eaten.

The rest is in obeying his commandments and knowing that we have salvation by grace through faith. You are struggling because the Holy Spirit is convicting you. Listen to Him and the Word. Jesus said: If you love Me, keep My commandments. John 14:15. Notice in Revelation the ones being persecuted by the dragon and entering in through the gates into the city are the ones keeping the commandments of God.

Jesus, hear my prayers these past three years have been difficult on me I am weak. Give me guidance. Please come back soon I don’t know how much longer I can hold on. As a single parent things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and my hours to work are limited because I’m now homeschooling them. I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them I’m so ashamed. I suffered an heart attack and I’m battling lupus I’m overwhelmed. Father God hear my prayers. I constantly struggle to pay my bills and struggle to provide groceries. BUT I KEEP FAITH. Even though I want to give up. Jesus please take the fear from my heart. Father God it is you that gives me the strength to keep going. I praise you Father even as I fear homelessness please continue to give me strength.

Look at resources in your area for food at churches or non profits some even help with utilities. Attend a church that caters to autism there is some. And/or join a home schooling group that meets together. May God help you

Jesus arose on the 8th day and gave us a new covenant in His blood. He made it the 1st day of the week which is on a Sunday and that is why Christians worship on the 1st day which is also the 8th day of NEW BEGINNINGS. The 1000 year reign of Christ will also be on the 8th day !

When the women went to the tomb at sunrise which was the beginning of the 1st day and the tomb was already empty…He rose on shabbat. Catholic church is the synagogue of satan and vatican is the beast that will rise in the last days. They are also those who changed times and laws as spoke of in Daniel 7:25.

I used to be a Seventh-Day Adventist and was led to believe that the Sabbath was to be kept by us. I did not realize until 2020 that was not true. Now I attend a Fundamental Baptist Church. KJV only!😊
Nobody keeps any sabbath because it is not known how to keep it. Jeremiah 8:8 doesn't exclude the KJV; but it does tell you that the law of the Lord is not known by any so-called wise man preaching the book that he was not worthy to open or look into; Rev 5).
The key to the sabbath is understanding what abiding in the shelter of the Most High to find rest in the shadow of the Almighty means. If you're humble, ask what it is.
The sabbath is about rest. It is entirely possible to fulfill the law to not work on saturday or sunday and not be resting in the manner intended to keep yourself holy.

I have the same back story, I was fooled into thinking that we were still supposed to keep the Sabbath. Then I learned more about the new testament and man my eyes were open to the truth and everything made sense. Sabbath rest and resting in Jesus' sacrifice aren't separated. As an Adventist we often pray on Sabbath, and throughout the whole week, and thank Jesus, and the Heavenly Father for sending His only Son for a sacrifice for us. We NEVER say that it "wasn't enough".

Just as we remember Jesus' death by partaking of the bread and wine, we remember the rest we have in Jesus by the sabbath rest.
I wonder why people in the ministry don t make a big deal celebrating Christmas and Easter year after year when jesus already was born and died and is in heaven. Sabbath rest is a reminder of what Jesus accomplished for us. We No longer have to strive to please God. We now rest in him and sabbath is a reminder of that.

My late mother tried to get me into that religion and it forced me to study the Bible and thoroughly search for answers, and when I did I found out that what ur saying is 100% correct! When I tried to reason with them on that, and do bible study on romans and galatians they wouldn't have it. You're correct about judging none of us have the right or authority to judge. Except God and God will convict those of his word, and only he can judge the heart. Once you have a clear understanding of His word, then he can judge you on your acceptance of it or not.

Yes we aren’t “under” the law so it solely can’t condemn us. Why? Because all have and will fall short. You still should obey your parents. You shouldn’t kill. Having grace doesn’t give us a free pass to break the law. It’s like if your wife forgave you for adultery. Just because she forgave you and showed you grace it doesn’t give you the right to abuse her grace and do it again. That’s a true gift you shouldn’t take lightly.
Makes sense but if claim to have the answer to this you need to go deeper with scripture to justify what you are claiming, because Jesus said he didn't come to due away with the laws or prophets.

Expand your understanding to see that being saved by faith in Jesus compels us to love Him which compels us to keep His commandments. You do have to apply your common sense to see that sacrifices are what Jesus completed for us but that doesn’t mean throw out the rest. The pre-flood folks tried that. It did not go well for them.

@@pinedastaglio6500 it appears to me that Christ raised the bar for us all, not lowered it. So I think He was saying (paraphrased) “yeah, keep the law but know Me” not just “discard the law but love Me”. An example was when He said that if you even look at a woman to lust after her, you’ve already committed adultery with her in your heart. Dang! So not ‘just don’t commit adultery’ but ‘you’re guilty of adultery if you just think about it’. He calls for obedience in our most inward being.
Likewise the Sabbath and the rest of the commandments . Yeah, do them but don’t expect it to save you. Know Yashua/Jesus the Christ. In Him only is salvation. ❤️🙏

Do you actually think grace is a NT concept only??? Was not Abraham shown grace? Was not Noah shown grace? Was not Moses shown grace? Grace and Yah’s commandments are not opposed to each other, they go together. On this side of Messiah we now have the grace to do His commandments and not immediately die if we mess up. For Messiah has redeemed us from THE CURSE OF THE LAW (Gal 3:13), NOT the law itself. The grace is the ability and desire to want to be obedient to His commandments.
“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.”

I am crying laughing. THIS IS AMAZING Bro. Breaker!! Preaching how most pastors should be preaching. I have not laughed as hard as I did in awhile when you picked up the scissors😂😂😂. So amazing. I'm a surgical technologist who has actually participated in circumcision procedure on grown men. It's brutal even with modern practices, so seeing you with the scissors without cracking a smile just made me fall out on the floor laughing. So unfortunate people don't/refuse to understand dispensationalism.
God's commandments are for our own good. Jesus did not come to abolish the Law but to fulfill it. The law says do not murder, but Jesus says don't even be angry. Paul says works without faith is dead, and James says faith without works is dead. Everywhere it says we need both.

Rest on the Sabbath, and in the word/Jesus is good. God rested on the 7th day. Resting and honoring God on the last day of the week is a good thing. One thing I do find interesting, is out of all of the 10 commandments, the only one Christians don’t seem to honor is the sabbath Why? Obviously, we get rest in Jesus, but it’s about rest as much as it’s about pushing every idol of this world out of the way and honoring our God. Right?
God showed sabbath in genesis 1 before Israel. The Ten Commandments are forever to all it says not in tables anymore but written on our heart. He also said don’t forget the sabbath.
However PAUL never pressed the issue

@@FloridaGirl- Colossians 2:16 is dealing with ceremonial laws, the feasts of the Lord were his holy days, in Leviticus 23:4 they are to be kept in their seasons(new moon), in Leviticus 23:24,32,39 they're called sabbaths(sabbath days) and the meat and drink were the offerings done on those days, these Sabbaths were beside the Sabbaths of the Lord - Leviticus 23:38.
Romans 14:5 also has nothing to do with Sabbath-keeping being a matter of spiritual freedom, but the keeping of feast days, we see it again in Galatians 4:10 "Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years." all with which the ceremonial laws were focused.
A good example is Luke 23:56 where we see the women keeping the sabbath day according to the commandment after Christ had already died. Observance of the sabbath went away a couple centuries after Christ. Christ said sabbath was made for man - Mark 2:27, the sabbath existed long before laws were given.
@@FloridaGirl- Those verses are referring to the traditions held by the Gentiles. The Romans considered it was unlucky to work on some days or eat certain foods on other days. Paul was explaining to set aside your traditions. Not once is the Sabbath mentioned in the book of Romans.
Sabbath **days**: This is referring to the annual sabbath and other rest days held by traditions, not the weekly Sabbath.

As a former SDA I can tell you that it was from fear the people kept the Sabbath Day because the prophet Ellen G White instilled into the congregation that they’d be lost if they didn’t keep the law (Sabbath) even if they attended church on Sunday …they’d be lost.

In Acts chapters 13,16,17 and 18 the word was preached on the Sabbath, Sunday worship was mandated in the 4th century by Constantine in observance of sun worship, and it's been kept tradition ever since, it's actually pagan, this is why the world operates contrary to the word of God

@@IjeomaMenkiti Agreed, and just for the record, I'm not a 7th Day Adventist, I just choose to follow God's word as it is and not what people make it, I'm only what scripture says I am, a follower of Christ as stated in 1 John 2:6, that's why I keep the sabbath, because he did, none of the commandments went anywhere, what we don't have to do anymore is the animal sacrifices because Christ fulfilled that, though we're not under the law, we keep it because we have faith in Christ
