It has only been... 4(?) weeks of school and I've been stressing out about CAS, EE, and ToK, but thanks for the video.. really cleared things up!
Glad I could help!
why did i pick history hl instead of visual arts
Honestly the best CAS video i have seen. Saw it before i moved to the IB, and i am rewatching it now that my year has begun. Thanks so much for this, man.
Ib is terrifying me 😭. To much work and effort is needed. Btw it helped alot
bro start preparing right now its what I did. Instead of relaxing, use this time to study book ahead. Not all of the time obviously, you want to be alife when school begins.
You’ll be absolutely fine trust me!! If you want to prepare in advance then go for it👍👍 Try to enjoy your summer as well though cause these next two years aren’t a walk in the park that’s for sure.
na chill u only need to pass this shit, cas dont give any mark so just do the first shit you can think of and try to pass it i dont think i spent more than a coupe of hours per MONTH in this shit
Amazing video!! This was much needed for me ahah CAS experiences/reflections was quite tricky to understand but this helped a lot! :)

thank you, this video helps me a lot
Glad I could help!
Thanks for the great video!
I have a question. I didn't see anything in the CAS guide about 16 experiences.
Also, do the smaller CAS experiences have to be related to the CAS final project?
Hmm that’s strange. Based on the information I’ve been told all year you have to have a minimum of 16 experiences (this might just be our school’s general guideline though instead of an actual IB requirement but don’t quote me on that). About the CAS project, your experiences don’t need to be linked in any way to the CAS project, they can be totally different. Hope this helps!
Same, I just asked my CAS advisor if this is a rule and she'd never heard of it, so it sounds like a school specific rule.
Thank you for this!
My pleasure!
Hi! Could you please upload the document that you are showing in the video? Thanks in advance
First comment hope u are doing well mate
Appreciate it mate❤️❤️
I'm literally six months into my diploma program and I think I have been doing all of my CAS wrong. I never knew I had to write reflections and have experiences, I just take videos from time to time to prove the things I claim to have done...I don't know what to do now 😭should I start over?
I'm a senior and I'm further behind than you don't worry. Definitely don't start over, there must be a CAS advisor at your school you can meet with to ask about it. If not, maybe meet with a counselor?
@@jackrabbit4384 Well the thing is, I was the first DP student of this school, and they're not experienced at all. There is no training for CAS advisors so the advisor only had a document to read(and apparently did not read properly). Over these three weeks, I have already moved to another school and this new school told me to start DP again at August this year because my age is still young enough for that. Thank you though!!
@@clairechan1355 Oh well I'm glad at least you have a second chance with it! Good luck!
That's good to hear, if your new school has experience with the IB it'll definitely make things a lot easier!
What experiences could target the outcome of ethics and choices of actions?
Thank you so much. May God bless you🙏🏼
What app did you use to write all your notes for the video?
GoodNotes!
Hello Salem,Very well crafted video. Is it possible for you to share this presentation? It will be great help.
Big thank you!
Glad I could help❤️
What did you do for your service parts and can I find ways to help the community online, if so, where
CAS project is the hardest
Defo takes the most time🥵
That's a great video thank you so much
soooo helpful thanks!!
Glad you found it useful!
Heyy! Could you help me with CAS project. Needed some ideas
W vid man
Also, which website are you using for uploading CAS? 😭I don't think I got it...
Our school uses a platform called Managebac. Your school might be different though!
Wait what if my CAS project hits all 21 at the same time
so many ideas in my head, it's getting harder and harder in DP, can pls someone share ideas for creativity🙏🏻
How are we supposed to do CAS during a pandemic where stuff is breaking down and we are all quarantined.
I know it’s difficult but there are definitely some indoor activities you can do! Learning how to play an instrument or a 30 day push-up challenge are two great activities!
Improvise, adapt, overcome
@@somika87 great words; I’ll try honoring them
@@sebastianblackfyre it comes from the marines, if anyone knows about resilience...

Does CAS affect your final grade?
you can only get a diploma if you complete cas. cas doesn't have a grade, you only need to pass it, whereas tok and ee are scored from A to E each, and dependent on TOK EE matrix score (you can google it) you will get from 1 to 3 possible points. and they will add up to 42 possible points (7 in each subject). Dont stress, your teachers will guide you, just do everything as soon as they tell you
Why am I watching, I already completed IB
My school didn’t care about CAS advisors, nobody did them.
:)))
