Texas held TCU to under 30 percent shooting from the field in a 65-43 win on Saturday at Schollmaier Arena.
Shay Holle led Texas with 14 points, four assists and three rebounds and Madison Booker tallied 13 points, three rebounds and three assists.
DeYona Gaston recorded nine points and four rebounds. Gisella Maul tied her season-high with five rebounds and added two points and three assists. Amina Muhammad contributed six points and six rebounds. Aaliyah Moore scored nine points.
The Longhorns (22-3, 9-3) outscored TCU 26-12 in the third quarter and went on an 18-1 run to go up 47-38 on a Shay Holle 3-point field goal with 59 seconds to play in the third period.
Texas continued that defensive effort in the fourth quarter, holding TCU to 11 points and three field goals.
Up next Texas will play at the University of Houston on Wednesday, Feb. 14 in a 7:00 p.m. CT game.
