Thanks you for taking the time to share your work with us all. I enjoyed it and many others who may not have commented, did too I would suggest. I'm glad that no-one has commented on the negative remarks. Says a lot for the authors of the comments and to deny them airtime is the best response.
I have a lot of family from Mountain Ash. Some of my most cherished memories are of spending Christmas and New Year at my Nan's in High Street just down the road from the Napiers Arms. I love the place dearly. Cheers for posting this, fantastic.
Brought back many great memories and brought me to tears remembering good times Not a busy as it used to be in the 1960.,a shadow of its past.Great Video. Thanks
James, The pictures were taken on a spring Sunday morning in 2010 when most people were fast asleep and having a lie in. It is great that it has brought back so many happy memories and the town may be a lot quieter now with the advent of the larger superstores out of town but the people remain as friendly as ever and allways willing to wish everyone a good morning and a friendly chat.
Lovely town, obviously a shame that it has been in decline somewhat but the same goes for many valley towns. It is still a terrific area with character and wonderful views.
