The aesthetics in this vid are excellent like Ashley Harris said 👋🏼, I don’t section my hair. I rinse with my hair upside down then start applying the product still upside down then standing up. I use a combo of praying hands method and shingling in the front pieces. Btw I’m so upset that there’s no Aussie curls cowash in Target 😭
We had to make sure we got the aesthetics together this week after our fashionably challenging previous week haha. Interesting application method. It’s cool that everyone applies products differently. Finding Aussie in target is hit or miss. There is only one target I know of in my state that carries it and I never want to drive to go get it so I just order it from target.com.

Tay i believe your hair is low porosity and my hair hates coconut oil, shea butter and glycerin.. Its also hates cowashing maybe avoid all that ?
I section very lazy.. Smh my hair is thicker and tighter then yalls i need to get better and do 4 sections at least.

I cowash but avoid protein in products, stay away from sheabutter at all costs, as well as coconut oil, but glycerin is amazing in shampoos and humectant dc can be great if handled with care.

I know this is a year late, but you need a variety in a hair care line because of different hair types. The lighter products for finer hair textures and heavier products for thicker textures.
I do not section my hair because it is short. Do you know that CurlMix is coming out with a shampoo and conditioner on Feb. 1? You got a lot of definition with those products.

I section my hair every time I apply product. I remember starting my journey and just slapping it in like relaxer 😂 now that my hair is long enough, not at Tay's length yet but I have to section unless I want my hair to turn into a frizzball. Also find I need to put my hair up when I take showers #nosoapinthehair
Thanks for the shout out lol!! 🤣🤣💜 I JUST got the coconut water refresher yesterday and I like it and love the smell!🥥🥥 However, the sprayer was BUSTED and didn't work at all!!! So, I put it into an empty Alikay Lemongrass leave-in bottle (both are 16 oz.) and it was only maybe a little more than 2/3 full!!! 🤔🤨 I picked the products I figured you'd want lol! 😉 When I got them y'all were just cowashing and they didn't have the rest of the line at Sally's! 😂😂 Also, those are the ones that I personally tried lol!! 😁

Hello ladies! @Tayloranne coconut oil can mimic protein in certain hair types. Idk if it's related to how much or how often it's used. You might be developing a sensitivity to it. @Lorianne I have type 4 hair and I've found that sectioning is helpful. Great video.

Maybe the CO-wash isn't cleansing enough and you need to clarify with a sulfate shampoo. When I was sulfate-free (that backfired on me, problematic scalp), I clarify-washed at least once a month with a good harsh sulfate to get all of the build-up off of there; it helps!

I love y'all so much. I love the KC line in general. I agree that lines tend to overdue it with so many products. My hair is dry dry dry and coarse. I LOVE the curling creme, and moisturizer (although I have some confusion regarding the need, but it's good LOL). I'm NOT a fan of the Jelly. Was waiting for this review. Loved it. Good results. 🥰

I wonder if the mix of coconut oil & glycerine are somehow adding to the dryness Tay. I’m learning that glycerine can be bad at temp extremes depending on your hair porosity - in humidity it may cause frizz & in the winter, maybe it blocks the absorption of moisture -? I’m a new natural tho, so I’m still trying to figure it all out 🤣

It’s not super shiny but it really brought out your highlights. Your results are really pretty! I’m in love with this collection, so much so that I turned my little brother on to the line and now he loves it too. I need to re-up on all of the products because we ran through them! You ladies nailed the aesthetic too. Love it 💜
From seeing what Taylor posted on instagram, I think you need to use a sulfate shampoo to get rid of all the silicones from the Ausie Moist, and then deep condition with your favorite. The same thing was happening to me, no matter what cowash or even conditioner I would use nothing worked. I liked this washgo but I think you’ve guys have had better days. Lots of love ❤️

I’m having the same problem Tay. I can’t put enough moisture in my hair 😓 I think it’s the weather. When we met in NYC I had this in my hair and I was not a fan. Maybe I need to try different combos 👍🏼

I tried the cream and jelly and was not a fan at allllll. The cowash is so good tho !....& It has to be all the coconut oil that's making your hair feel that way. Coconut oil aids in protein retention, it reinforces the protein structure of your hair & being that you are protein sensitive...using a product that contains protein and then a product heavy in coconut oil or even just using the coconut based product will then make your hair hard and stiff as if it were going through protein overload. Also look into Dew points ! Naturallycurly.com has a great dew point forecast tool on their site and an article about it...by seeing the dew point you can then determine if you should or shouldn't incorporate products with certain ingredients in it for that day or week. For example you shouldn't always use products with glycerin in certain weather conditions
I absolutely wanted to love this line because the price was so on point but it hated my hair☹....it made my hair dry and brittle.
It honestly wasn’t the most moisturizing line we’ve ever tried so I can see how it could be drying for some. We are seeing that in the comments a lot.

20:09 😂 why Tay! But ya know this chef doesn't like coconut either (eating that is) I love the oil! Great review MAD curls first thing I seen that plug with me about the phthalates lol! Also I ALWAYS section, I feel like when you have HIGLY dense Kinky type 4 hair it's very important that you section. Because as Taylor stated it gives you more coverage, but also kinky type 4 hair has the most breakage and gets the most single strand knots because the hairs are so fine, tightly compact and close together. It's just the nature of type 4 hair I feel.
But I think if you are someone who have waist length or hip length hair like Taylor then it would be a breeze because your hair is so long and the weight and gravity pull your hair down so its easier to distribute the product based on the large surface area of the hair. This was a nice wash and go!

Anyway watched the treatment Tuesday video today while I deep conditioned because life got in the way. I usually wash & deep condition on Sunday & again life did not want me to be great. Lol! 😂 So I have to style my hair tomorrow. The results were CUTE! It’s definitely bomb for those soft curl moments bc my hair does not last without gel. This videos was cute as always. My hair was EXTREMELY dry 2nd third day hair no moisture you wouldn’t think so because of this creams thickness. Any advice?

First off thank God Tay and Spencer didn’t touch that wire please call the electric company to report that. Now, the colors are on point I love that beautiful pink background. I tried this line’s leave in and jelly and I got pretty good results. It’s always nice to find affordable products that work just as good as the more expensive ones. You ladies are a roll with these videos👍🏽

I left Keracare in my relaxer days and haven't checked for them since. Based on your results, my 3c/4a texture would probably laugh at this line. And, as a Jamaican, coconut everything to me. My grandma has a tree, and when I was a kid, my dad would chop down coconuts for me. We would drink out the water and make coconut drops with the meat.
I love using coconut oil in food, on my skin but I do not like eating coconut shavings! TaylorAnne try using Pantene Gold Series - Buttercreme -it’s awesome for dry hair!
TaylorAnne, I had the same experience with the cowash. Start using it, felt great going in and then my hair felt terrible when I wash. Actually it took me another wash to get the softnes back 😬. I returned it!!! I have not wanted to try anything else....
Coconut can act like a protein ingredient. Hair milks are usually lighter than creams. For people with certain curl types that get weighed down easily, usually choose the milk instead. For winter I have to use no glycerin products or low glycerin on the list because my hair freaks out with these CT temps and dew points.
Thank you so much for sharing. I was trying to find a cheaper alternative from AS I AM curling jelly because i love love love it but its so pricey. This one is more affordable and i am going to go get me one today. It looks really good on both of you. I like how it came out.
I love AS I AM curling jelly too! It's my holy grail. I saw the Keracare jelly yesterday and bought it instead. Have you tried it yet? I will be doing my hair in a few days and I'm hoping it is comparable to AS I AM.
aristar84 I tried it and it made my hair oily. I take it it’s because of the coconut oil but I like the look it gave. I use it when I want a certain curl look. Did you try it?
Coconut water from the fruit is not bitter it’s actually really good. The bai drink taste like that because stuff are added to it

Coconut oil in the cowash will definitely make your hair dry and stiff. What I noticed with myself if I start using too much coconut oil products it will make my hair feel like a protein overload. But my hair loves coconut oil once in a while. I do treat it like a protein even though there is no protein in it.
What's a rat tooth?! LOL I always thought leave ins were lighter than the curling creams. Now a lot of natural hair companies don't seem to know how to differentiate the consistencies of the two. Other than that, the results look gorgeous.

Wow! Ya'll got those hues on point and they compliment your skin tones well. Both wash and go turned out beautiful. LoriAnne I am a coconut fan. My fav homemade coconut cake, coconut shrimp, etc...for coconut water I use it to make my smoothies instead of using water. As for the line I almost picked up the line in Sally's, but when I looked at the ingredients, glycerin was in the top 3 ingredients. I would have issues with frizz here in Texas. Great video as usual and you see you on your next video.

I love the curling cream with Curl Mix moisturizer. The jelly silent turn me on. I do use the oil after the leave in but only a small amt. And Tay I hate coconut too!!

Great tip on buying three products from a line. These will work for wash and go's or twists. I've used their styling products on my relaxed clients hair for some yrs, and I'll need to take a look at this line.

I had really dry hair from the line. It was the coconut oil. So I removed products with coconut oil out of my hair routine and my hair is much better
I love the cowash, but it just goes to show that everything isn't for everybody! Btw I just use the curl activator as a refresher. 😊

I section, but how many sections depends on how wet my hair is. The wetter, the less sections
For me section my hair I don't do, I put styling cream and gel sometimes, with my oil macadamia and my curls still turn out looking good :)
Im protien sensitive and my hair gets that same feeling when I use products with jamaican black castrol oil in it too.. not sure why? And I found curl activator is best used as a refresher 🤗
I have this line ladies. I have been waiting for you to try this. My hair is short but, I really like this line. I have the shampoo and conditioner. I just want to say the conditioner had MAJOR slip. I took the gel back it flaked. I also have the activator and co-wash. The cream I had to take back it was to thick for me. When i bought it i didn't see a leave in. Think i will try it.
