I have a pixie cut and my hair is completely natural. People keep asking if I have a wig or relaxer lol… but I do get my hair molded. However, before my hair was molded I had a steam treatment followed by getting my hair blown straight this helped to get my hair in order and then mold. Your hair came out nice 😊
Thinking about relaxing and I’ve been natural my entire life. Cut my hair in December and I’ve been looking into pixie cuts, gonna try this method and see if it works verses doing this
Thank you for this video. I am new to the pixie cut and don’t want to process my hair again so I was trying to see how to get the straight look with out constantly relaxing my hair. I see now the blow dryer does the trick. So after I mold and go under the dryer … to get out the waves the blow dryer with a brush really helps! Thank you for this!
Thank you for the blow dry tip! My hair is 100% natural. I mold it when I want a straight look. As you know, THE MOLD IS KEY! PS- Use a fine-toothed rat tail comb followed by a boar-bristle brush to get those “waves” down for the mold on natural hair! And add a wrap strip from crown to under the chin before drying. PPS - An all natural pixie is 💥! 3-4c. . . IT WORKS WITH THE RIGHT PRODUCTS/TECHNIQUES! And you can rock an Afro whenever you want. I straddle both worlds! When in doubt, I wear a hat/cap. 🫠 PIXIE ISH IS THE 💣!! Use a wax-based product instead of a spray thermal protectant before flat-ironing. You and your hair are beautiful!
@@BeingNicc KeraCare and ORS make a wax stick. I a wax stick over one palm, rub my hands together, and then apply it to my dry molded hair. A little goes a long way!

Thanks for showing this. I just big chopped and got my initial relaxer in December. Thanks to your channel I did my first relaxer touch up and deep condition yesterday. I dried w strips over night. And tomorrow I will blowdry w heat protectant and flat iron myself. Thank you for showing the process.
Girl you don't need to get a relaxer touchup just do this routine and your hair will grow and be pretty without paying a beautician! Thank you very much! Nice video! 😊❤
It’s great to see how to mold natural roots. It’s a whole lot of work, but I’m not going to relax my hair. I haven’t used a Luster’s hot oil treatment in many years! Thanks for sharing
This was great! I am 8 months post and just got the big chop last month. Been trying to work with my tapered cut. So tempted to get a relaxer. Holding strong.
And yasssss I just came from other video I’m 2 months post I’m wearing my wigs until March. I can’t wait for that first fresh Relaxer. I love it hunny!!!!!
This vidoe seriously is inspiring me to go pixie especially how i have my hair perm. I'll do a big chop and go pixie like ahhhh 😊😊😊. Will i need a flatiron to go pixie?
You were the 1st RUclipsr that I learned about the Mega wrap, there was another YT but I can not remember her name. I am that perm girl and wear hair short than grow out. Will be trying that Pixie Molding Mousse! Hair came out so nice!
Thank you so much for this I know how to do my daughter's hair now 🙂 I am definitely doing this. Can molding the hair into a style and straightening before work for a twist out as well?
Take it from a Master Cosmetologist....darling you did an amazing job esp with your hair texture and density!! I was wanting to see how people smoothed their hair out when tapered and natural. You got it SUPER smooth kudos!!
Hey Roxie for hair with new growth ur hair sure looks good .It looks very heslthy and I love the density. Its dream for mebto get a healthy looking pixie and so I always have to tesort to pixie wigs
Want to be be honest my opinion of of course been a subscriber and because I follow you with my my pixie for ideas. This is a No for me. I just did took out my summer passion twist. Keep relaxing your hair and letting the back grow out until you reach the desired length, stay w/ hot oil treatments and ORS conditioner. You can maintain your normal sleek look and not worry about breakage if you keep conditioning. I've never seen your hair look this unpolished

What do you use to mold the hair down? I see some like Nairobi.
I have a short pixie cut with natural hair and i use paul mitchell foaming pomade to mold my hair.
I love Paul Mitchell foaming pomade too. I’ve been using it on my short hair for almost 20 years. I haven’t found another product like it.
Love love the foaming pomade. I'm natural and it's amazing
I'm going to look for it today!!! Thank you ladies
Your hair grew back in so beautifully after that very dramatic cut and it looks AMAZING - even without a relaxer!

Hello nataka hio wig short pixie hio unastyle
En serio?? En pelo corto? Si lo llevo corto es precisamente para no tener que hacerme nada, con todo ese rollo tardas más que si lo llevas largo 🤯
😕
