Stop me if this idea was mentioned or already posted: ZMDE once caused the Villagers to become a god, so what happens if the Pillagers are allowed to create their own god? Best part would be that, with the Villagers and their god trying to claim vengeance on ZMDE, it is the Villagers who cause the rise of the Pillager god while ZMDE just spectates the Villagers stupidity.
Essentially, Villagers become AND create their own worst enemy, aside from ZMDE.
