I saw a comment on here and the person actually asked a legitimate question about having to still put in a pass code of some form. Now I myself am gna have agree wit the question. I jus did exactly everything that was said to reset the system. And Guess What I ran into the same issue it both asked for the pass code and also had a link to use your Gmail to login to prove Your Identity on the phone. FYI those who are watching these videos are probably actually people who's phone was stolen or they lost the damn thing either way be smart. T-mobile has a unique system that allows you to permanently lock to phone itself or they can tap in a 4 digit code that can completely crash the phone.
Wish it work that easy for me. I'm stuck at a screen in the beginning where you gotta put your account or a current pin from a previous owner, and I can't get in . Don't even know the current pin. Even after a Hard reset you still gotta enter a account or A current pin which is crazy. Anyway to help????

Those who have to re enter passcode or google is for protection of owner device. If don't know will have to get a google removal from device
