I have the X1 and love it, and it works almost flawlessly, the learning or the emitter have difficulties on a few IR commands, I use it to control Sony tv and uhd player, Amthem AVM 70 (IR) JVC projector(IR), HdFury Diva (IR), Zappiti Reference (IR), Nividia TV( bluetooth), Spectral audio DMC30 learn from harmony (IR), Ayre K1xe pre and C5xeMP SACD, (IR) Mac Mini M1 (Bluetooth)for Tidal or Audirvāna playback, Meitner ma1v2 DAC (IR), Douk du3 (IR) amplifier and/or speaker switcher. It can not control my TV BOX since it is RF. With the activities, i switch from one listening setup to an other with out problems. It is affected by daylight And precise positioning of the HUB. I still can’t learn one IR code from the HdFury Diva to Switch input for the 4k output. (Works fine for the other 3 inputs. All inputs works fine with harmony remote or integra remote.).
Just bought from Amazon after watching ur video nearly less then one day of use….it does what it Spose too… liking it ….so far 5 devices more to come

i'm using the harnony ultimate still. it's 11 years old and the battery is only lasting 2 days. i've found replacement batteries and replacement video tutorials. but one day i'll need to replace it. this looks promising.

I had a problem with Sofabaton X1about a year ago, I returned it Well a couple of weeks ago I watch your video on the U2 giving Sofabaton a second try. I received my U2 today. Easy setup and works better than I expected. Although I miss my Harmony because of the features has. I hope Sofabaton add new features to the U2.
Only issue I notice when programing the setup button on some of my remotes to the U2.

I have had the U1 for a year and like it. I like it to control our tv, fire tv cube and Panasonic 820. Battery life could be better and every now and then they move and it turns off. Hope the U2 is better

Still using the Inteset 4 in 1 remote you reviewed a year or so ago but I need a remote that can handle 5 devices. This definitely looks better however I would miss the backlit keys of the Inteset.
Yes go for the X1 remote. Or the one for all 8 remote I reviewed a while back
I recently purchased the U2 Remote and after watching several videos on setup, it won't let me set up my macro to turn on and off three devices. I have invested a lot of time removing batteries and replacing them, resetting to factory specs and then reprogramming with all the right codes. Nothing works. THE ONE THING I PREFER ABOUT HARMONY IS THEIR USA BASED SUPPORT NETWORK AND TOLL FREE NUMBER.
If it was only backlit !

How does the Sofabaton compares to the Acoustic Research (Known as All For One) ARRXG15?
The ARRXG15 lost support a while ago, no more drivers to plug the remote to your PC, no more online code database where you could choose a specific device to program on the remote.
I wish I knew more about the remote you're comparing to!
You still haven't sent out an update on the AVM70, or information about the upgrade option. You said you would do this if I recall almost a year ago.
I didn't upgrade it because it would be out for almost 2 months and I can't do that if I want to review things. And its $500. I do plan to post a anthem video in the coming weeks
I’m still rocking two harmony remotes, a 650 and a 700. So far so good, but I know they could die at any point and then I will have to find a replacement. Soofabaton might not be a bad choice. Oh, quick question, can you program in activities Like the harmony with macro commands and the ability to control several devices at the same time?

battery power is just not the way to go in 2023. I do own the X1 but until my harmony dies I have not used or even set it up.
I rather have a charger dock, too. X1 doesn't have one but you can buy one
@@Kpaceguy True but at least it's rechargeable through a USB cable. Its buying batteries and the problem with leakage just makes the whole thing a pain.
Terrible location of center speaker. Way too low and in cabinet. probably sound better running in phantom mode.

The Sofabaton is awful. Maybe the YIO Remote Two will be good.
The price for YIO is overkill
