Nick Torres #79 for Nova just signed as a UDFA for the Chiefs. This tape is excellent. 4 or 5 pancakes. Only pressure allowed is at 13:33 Almost always the front point of the line. RAS score is really good for OT but if adjusted for OG which he plays would be 1st in this years draft. It's FCS but the measurables are there. Could have an NFL future.
Not sure why they would want to. A program like N. Dakota State could theoretically move up to the Mountain West, but they would be like Wyoming instead of contending for the FCS National Championship pretty much every year. Might be better to be a big fish in a medium-sized pond.
I watch a few FCS games that were televised this year. It's very interesting to truly see how amazing the power 5 schools are packed with top.talent especially the SEC. I was entertained by FCS play but the speed of the game is way slower than FBS College ball. But this was a good game indeed.
There definitely is a bit of a talent gap, which makes North Dakota State’s run a few years ago even more impressive. They beat Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota, and Kansas State all within a few years.
Overall, maybe....it's the same old tripe of "Southern Speed".....there are very few FBS teams that would voluntarily schedule any Top 5 FCS teams. None of the top dogs want to be the next FBS team to be immortalized on the internet getting pounded by their little brothers....
Sd state should have a dome, i know they arent cheap but when your good and are pretty much always playing in decemmber its something to think about!! Given that its a state school it probably wont happen!!
I would love to see fbs have playoff games in cold weather games and not in domes If Alabama played Cincy in Cincinnati and it’s snowing you know who’s winning
Okay!..The Villanova Wildcats had an outstanding football team during 2023...However, with wretched weather conditions, they essentially "out-smarted themselves" while hunting Jackrabbits today...
As SDSU is a land grant university that is heavy into agricultural research, that along with the South Dakota Soybean Processors (SDSP) being nearby, and a large contributor to research funding, the stadium features a soy-based turf.
What a contrast to Washington Stadium in Missoula, home of The Griz where they still put 25,000 in the stands no matter the weather and you'll never see trash blowing across the field while the game is being played.
Don’t watch many FCS games but I had to watch this one with the crazy winds and temperature 💯
@@TrainerRed519can’t forget about the few feet of snow we should have by now
I’m in the marching band at SDSU and let me tell you. Great game but MISERABLE weather haha
S.Dakota RB was in 🐎 mode 4 the quarter he really started giving them that Work! 😂
6:17 he has an open Pringle caught me off guard 😂

If SDSU makes the FBS leap, they will make it happen 👑🏈💪🏾
I don’t see them ever doing that unless ndsu did too

@@Stacie45 I completely agree

Should have gave it to Davis one more time at the end of game... that boy is hard down hill ball carrier

We probably won’t ever get a dome. Gives us the biggest homefield advantage in FCS
@@brandonkreber444 I guess you could look at it like that! Like green bay in January!
Would much rather have home field advantage with southern and east coast teams having to play in the cold
Enjoyed watching the "Fighting Rabbits" give a thumping to a game opponent.

Must be a good hunting day
Wouldn't that be cool if Villanova had another running back named Malt? And now lined up behind Watkins is Barley and Malt.
My homeroom teacher was named Barley. He was as funny as Farley.

*#8 Villanova
North Dakota State will be waiting for them in the championship! Go Bison!
Another 45-21 incoming😂
Bison ain’t getting by griz sorry
The guys name is Waxter. That's that's a great NFL name. (Or porn.)
Damn! How old is that turf theyre playing on? It looks like pavement!
I think the stadium is only 3 or 4 years old
@@briancoughlin6732 What, did they buy some other schools used astro turf? Thats exactly what that turf looks like.
@@dennissmathers5391its the broadcast. It doesnt look like that actually (I go to all the games)

How does the reigning champ have an empty stadium?
Cause it's 27 outside 😂
And 40 mph winds😂
Cause it's a 12 degree wind chill in South Dakota. I'd be at home with it, too lol.
It's too cold and there is no suspense. SDSU has a cakewalk to Frisco.
This is why they should have a dome! I know it isn't cheap but they are always playing in December!!
Damn, they literally just finished playing lmao.

That trash was villinovas game plan not trash clown
Theres also a lot more people in Missoula. Brookings only has a population of 23000. While Missoula's populations is 73000
That “trash” was the playbook/gameplans, they actually announced it
