Thanks for sharing this detailed review. Just a few corrections I might point out. The G series body style was 2007 - 2013. The 2007 and 08 models had the 3.5 engines (G35) and I believe 5 speed auto. In 2009 started the 3.7 liter engine (G37) model with 7 speed auto, similar engine layout but shared very few parts with the original 3.5. For 2014 and 2015 they were considered Infiniti entry level and called the G40, pretty much the same great car nonetheless. I actually own a 2013 G37x almost exactly like the one you demonstrated, but there are no full time running lights.
Hi Erth! Yes, we apologize for any confusion caused by this video. This was one of our first reviews and we were very inexperienced with the whole 'review' and accurate information concept :) We make lots of reviews now (with completely correct information in them) if you'd like to check them out! And thanks for watching!
G37 ran from 09-13. The 14' year skipped the G37 much like the 15' year skipped the Maxima. They did however begin the Q50 on the 14' models. Picking up the G37 up again in the 15' year renaming it the Q40 for marketing and dealer reasons. Besides it's Infiniti's 3rd best selling vehicle. So they were hard pressed to keep it off the market after demand for it in the 14' year.
I was just wondering the same thing, is the q40 same car as late model of g37? Ive been looking for floor mats for my 2015 q40 but cant find any, but theres plenty for the 2013 g37
The start up exhaust sound on these is attractive! That's why I bought one 3 years ago and am still loving it.
Still one of my favorite exhaust notes 👍👍

ShaWordPlay Jennings ... never understood why the Q40 did not have the Infiniti stitching on the front seats

SLOW VQ your thinking of the g35
What day time running lamps are you talking about??
The G37 ended production for year of 2013, there is no 2014 G37.

Yes and the 2015 began the q50/60 models...
Ya but they still was rebrand it q40 then after 2016 stop so the q50 and q60 can live on with vq37
It's painful just to see him revving it cold
Great review!

So the Infiniti q40 is the same car as the Infiniti G37
