- Happy Tuesday everyone! Here’s a fun controller triggers video to start off the week :) I’m using an Xbox One and a PS5 controller and comparing the sounds they make, let me know which you prefer!🎮

Have both consoles, grew up with the ps2 and then the xb360 but I have to go team playstation 💙

I know it sounds abit silly but I think the mic out of frame seems more personal and helps with the relaxation while I'm watching along. But sometimes I'm just listening and the mic being close up is better to fall asleep to. So yeah maybe just mix it up when you feel like a change.

Xbox user myself but I've held the ps5 controller before and I have to say it's so much nicer and feels so satisfying to hold and press the buttons. Sounds nicer for asmr too
The ps5 controller is light and snappy, whilst the Xbox controller is deeper but has more tone almost.

I absolutely love these type of videos. Feel controller/keyboard sounds are two of the most underrated triggers. Some of my earliest memories of “tingles” were these two 😂 oh..and back scratches from Mum as a lil lad 😆

I don’t even mind if the gameplay is shown, there’s just something about hearing the buttons being pressed for a reason rather than random. Think it just reminds me of my brother playing next to me and having that nostalgia hit

As a tall guy with larger than average hands, I've always gravitated towards the xbox controller, but the ps5 finally feels like the perfect compromise from Sony that feels comfortable for all hand sizes imo

in their own way, I love both controllers. I would be happy with either or....but if I had to choose my favorite, it would be the Dualshock. Sony practically made a perfect controller imo

I just bought a usb plug to charge my ps5 controller so you can just plug it in next to you instead of having be so close to console. Maybe a idea for you if you have plug near your bed

The button response time on Xbox controllers are much faster then play station controllers. I guess the sharper sounding click is the trade off 😭

You need to get an elite controller with paddles.
Not to mention I’ve had my ps5 controller for nearly two years and have had literally zero problems with it.
Whereas I would need to buy 1-2 new Xbox controllers a year

I could never get used to Xbox controllers. Always a bit too sticky; kinda feel like they are going to break straight from the factory. The Playstation controller sounds softer, and, given proper treatment, it will definitely last longer.
I use a Dualshock 3 as a PC controller. I used it for the PS3, then started using it for PC gaming. Original controller for the system; going strong since when I bought it with the console in 2009 (still works like new after 15 years of heavy use).
i prefer the xbox controller
I personally prefer the Dualsense
The buttons on the Xbox controller were made for a Fortnite kid or something

I have both consoles and when I went to play my Xbox again it felt so weird holding the Xbox controller in my hand cause I got so used to the PS5 controller but I play on my PS5 way more

used a ps5 controller for a year when it came out wanting to give it a go and every day was just disgusting, its heavy, its chunky, its clunky, the bumpers are way more awkward than the ps4 was, heavy being the worst part. I hate to say it but at the time i felt like it was made for gorillas hands lmao. It's nice hearing people enjoy it though, its just not for me, it looks great, but the other issues made me want to throw it away lol, oh the buttons too, why are we making buttons with sharp corners? lol. I wanted to give it a shot considering how good the ps4 one was but i'll never be going back to it & its nothing to do with not getting used to it because I used it an entire year lmao. The best part about the ps5 controller for me was going back to the series x one right after & absolutely loving it, its SUPER light (in comparison it was like having a giant rock in your hand vs a feather, it was such a nice change) & the buttons are smooth along with the triggers. But no joking aside the trackpad was a very fun feature to be able to use, definitely came in useful in games that could utilise it.
Its just better 🤷♂️
