What amazes me is how Dave's modeling conveys the feeling that it is a much larger model railroad than it actually is -- without looking cramped and over-detailed when taken in from afar. He's a master of efficiently using the available space to tell a story in miniature form.
What an inspiring spot to be surrounded by, inside and out. Creaky floors are the best. Thank you for the tour.

I like the Star Trek the original series phaser with pistols of the old west.😂
That's the only one on the wall that actually functions.

That was cool. I moved from MD to Tucson to attend UA in 1991 and the summer before I started I did a tour of the west passing through the awesome town of Jerome on my way to ride the mules to the bottom of north rim of Grand Canyon. You are fortunate to live and run your business from this spectacular part of the country. Really enjoy watching your work. Inspiring.
Dave, I'm looking forward to the Calico Rwy extension and seeing the 2-6-0 pulling the mining train.

Thanks for the Tour! We got to the front door last fall but never got to peek inside. Your workspace will be much improved with the natural light. We'll visit Jerome again for the 2.0 open house... can't wait!

Would love to have 400 sq feet of room, had a Cabin a few years ago that was 700 feet. So, 400 isn't too bad.

No, my workbench is now about where the staging yard used to be.
Hj How do you make your lightning show on your backdrop?
That's an LED effect. I'll be talking a lot more about it in a future update.
