This is a parody that I wrote, inspired by "CLOSING TIME" by Semisonic, copyright 1999. I was walking through a store on their final 7 days, and I got the idea for this song. The store was mostly empty and it was almost closing time. :( I used my video footage from multiple visits to Toys R Us this summer. It's nice to see the store with lots of toys, compared to empty shelves and closed aisles. I will always remember Toys R Us stores even when they are gone and I hope this video helps save the memory.
