    I'm a Thunder fan, but my advice is to forget this game and move on. That's what we did after getting embarrassed by the Bucs in the tournament game. Obviously you hope the players use the loss as motivation, but as fans, games like these happen time to time.

    Saying okc looks desperate is hilarious coping. Okc plays with this intensity every game, it’s why they have the #1 defense in the league. Difference is coach mark adjusted their defense to limit Mobley and Allen, and the Cavs couldn’t hit shots early in the game. Cavs don’t stand a chance one Chet and hart are both healthy. Too much versatility from okc, they match up too well, and no one on the Cavs can stop SGA. Okc in 5

      Nah they played desperate asl. From tip-off you could tell they treated this game like they were gonna win the championship lol, that’s only because they lost to us the first time. SGA tried to say the same thing after the game, “this is a normal night for us” no it wasnt. They knew we are the best team in basketball and they wanted to disprove that with all their might. Now, we SHARE the best record in basketball. If both these teams make the finals, home court advantage is now going to be based off who wins more from here on out. As a Cavs fan who has all the confidence in their team, we’ll see you in June.

      @@antoniojohnson23252I can assure you the Cavs cared way more about this game than the Thunder lol.
      As a Thunder fan, our fanbase and players certainly looked forward to this game, but it was by no means a “desperation game,” we were more nervous and excited for the games against the Mavs than this. Everyone felt very confident the Thunder would win this game.

    6:00 I think the issue is the last time OKC and Cleveland played, OKC had by far their worst defensive game of the season.
    That game was an anomaly.
    What you saw tonight was what OKC does every night. You talked about they treated it like a playoff game-they treat EVERY game like a playoff game by the way they play. There’s a reason they have the 2nd best defense in NBA a history and are putting up historic numbers, with the greatest plus minus of all time.

      Facts, let him cope 🤣🤣. You forgot to mention, OKC has the second best net rating of all-time behind the Jordan Bulls. The Bulls had a 13.4 and OKC currently have 13.0. It would of been almost 14 if that Flagger guy wasn’t jacking up 3s at the end.

    Pulling Mobley & Mitchell with 7 minutes left in the first Q and letting Niang get torched was crazy work. Also Ice...was ice cold....if you airball a couple 3s it might be time to pass the rock my boy

    I saw it coming because the Thunder have destroyed the teams that they have played after they lost to the Cavs and the Cavs have struggled against the teams they've played since they beat the Thunder.

      It’s really because OKC defense. Their POA defenders get into the ball handlers early on and don’t even let them get into their actions. It’s why DMitch struggles. Caruso, Dort, JDub, Cason, and even Shai smother early and prevent any actions down low and they sacrifice the Corner 3. Last week Cavs were hitting that corner 3 but yesterday they didn’t. And OKC hit the 3’s which made Cavs have to break up the zone defense which is why Shai went off. OKC is so good at small because they’ve done it for so long. GG’z Cavs and Thunder split the series 1-1 which is pretty accurate. Both teams are elite

    • @Dstyle269
      @Dstyle269 12 дней назад

      @808bboarder I don't disagree with anything you said. It's just hard for me to imagine that they couldn't find a way to get him the ball more than they did. They already know about the pressure defense and the caliber of the players on the wing so I'd have thought that they would have game planned so actions to get it down low. Give OKC all the credit in the world though because that was a whoopin

  • @IronMyShirt

    OKC was #1 seed last year. This was not a playoff of game for them. It was a regular season game against a good opponent. Did they want to show up? Yes they did and so did Cavs. Cavs are a great team but not on the same level, especially when Chet gets back. OKC will lockdown and wax the Cavs 4 out of 5 times.

  • @JayExcess1
    @JayExcess1 12 дней назад +2

    Clearly there is a problem trend with the defense right now, but there aren't very many teams that could come back from a 14 pt 1st quarter.

  • @christianbaker3815
    @christianbaker3815 12 дней назад +1

    Losing IHart gave the Thunder every reason to lose this game, and the result was they played the loosest they've played all year. They were locked in, but seemingly with a hint of pressure. Conversely, IHart and Chet being out, weirdly put a lot of pressure on the Cavs, because they "should" win this game with their two dominant bigs, and I think the Cavs played a little tight. And then OKC somehow played Allen and Mobley off the court at times, which as a Thunder fan I did not see coming.
    All of that said. Keep your heads up Cavs fans, that was one game, it's a long season and both teams are insanely still on pace for 70 wins. Good luck the rest of the regular season.

    Kenny did a bad job coaching in this game. That first quarter was horrible. How do you not make it a point to establish an inside presence early on in that first? That should have been the game plan. Kenny looked like he just went out there and said well just play how we play.

    At the halfway mark of the NBA season, any declarations of the Cavaliers' championship contention or their complete demise are so, so, so very premature. A great W-L record after 41 games just means you played great for the last 3 months, but it's predictive reliability is questionable. The same goes for OKC, but I hate to think of how they might improve IF Holmgren comes back close to 100% and has enough time to mesh with the team Ugh!

      Obviously, nobody can predict the future, but here are actual stats. 14 teams in NBA history have had the same or better starts than this Cavs team. Of those, 9 made it to the finals. Of those, 8 won. These same numbers would, of course, also apply to OKC. The reasonable prediction, based on every statistic, is that the finals will probably be Cavs vs OKC, and that's a finals i would love to watch.

      Well sorry to say but Chet is a damn unicorn and will be back and fit in seamlessly. He propelled them to the 1st seed last season. OKC also has Nikola Topic on ice and have about 4 or 5 FRP’s this draft. People always forget the Thunder are not even in their final form 💀

    I better not hear a peep of Jarrett allen slander him and garland came to play. Kenny needs to recognize sometimes Jarrett allen is better than evan mobley. If mobley doesn't have it Kenny goes away from both bigs. Stop punishing allen when mobley is playing poorly. Allen played 16 minutes and was cooking all 16

      That zone defense the cavs were playing in the first half was the most pathetic thing I’ve seen in a long time. The cavs have been scary good and now they’ve showed the world that they can also be scary bad. This should drop them down below the Celtics in the power rankings. Kenny has to do a better job of making in game adjustments. We’ve seen it too much this year. Remember they should’ve lost that game against Toronto when garland went off for 40. This is very concerning.

  • @austinpeevey
    @austinpeevey 12 дней назад

    The statement will wear on the Cavs......your justification that the game was just another game is one that OKC never takes for any game, against any team. That is a difference in a championship team and one that does not win it all. Beware, OKC played without their two best front court bigs.......
